Lucien groaned in pain, his face twisting as he tried to pull away from the Elias's iron grip. "But she completely insulted Ophelia's greatest deed! She insulted the woman who saved the royal line!" Elias released his hold with a rough push, sending Lucien stumbling backward against the steps. Lucien recovered quickly, a wild smile spreading across his face as he began to laugh like a madman. "Without her, you would be dead in the dirt, Elias! If she hadn't been standing there at the border, you would have been killed by the enemy king! You owe her your entire life, and your ungrateful wife mocks her for it!"
