Chapter 124: The Primordial Beast Legion Is Formed

"My great lord! Allow me to introduce my good brother ...Great Cat!"

Although the giant ant wasn't particularly bright, he was a mech of his word. True to his promise, he immediately recommended Starscream to the Fallen King Kong, hoping to secure his "good brother" a place among the Decepticon warriors.

Meanwhile, the well-known rival, Warrior Megalodon, presented a group of reptilian warriors ...including a massive red mechanical tarantula and a venomous scorpion that looked particularly fierce.

"What's this? You brought a cat? Why don't you come take a look at the warriors I've chosen for our lord? This one is Warrior Scorpion, and beside him is Warrior Tarantula. I personally named them. Surely they look far more impressive than that little kitten you brought along, don't you think?"

Though the saber-toothed tiger mech disguised as Starscream looked powerful, his movements were clumsy and overly cautious as he crept beside the mechanical ant. Compared to the two towering reptiles before him, his demeanor seemed almost timid ...not quite the intimidating Decepticon image one would expect.

As a result, the Fallen's attention shifted entirely toward the two newly recommended warriors from Shadow.

"Excellent! The Decepticons need new soldiers with such striking personalities. Since you've both proven yourselves, I'll grant you true power directly. From this moment on, you are official members of the Predacon Legion! I expect to see those Autobots crawling on the ground begging for mercy soon!"

Although the Fallen didn't state his plan outright, it was obvious he was eager to launch a large-scale assault on the Autobots. However, the Decepticon forces at the moment were still small in number. The safest option would've been to wait for Megatron to arrive with his army.

But the Fallen was no old mech who relied on others ...he preferred the thrill of crushing his enemies with his own hands.

"Warrior Tarantula, transform!"

"Warrior Scorpion, transform!"

These two had retained their Decepticon sparks even after millions of years. The moment they received their reward, both massive reptiles transformed into fearsome Decepticon warriors. Compared to traditional robots, these two now looked like demonic beasts straight out of legend!

It was no wonder that ancient myths had described the Fallen and his servants as terrifying demons ...much like the eastern legend of Chi You and his monstrous army. In truth, those legends were echoes of the ancient Fallen and his primordial beasts.

From the Fallen's perspective, these new Decepticons perfectly matched his taste ...wild, fierce, and brimming with energy. They were ideal for clashing with the Autobots.

"Great Lord, I ...Warrior Tarantula ...am willing to serve as your vanguard! I'll tear apart every Autobot in our path!"

To impress his master, Warrior Tarantula volunteered immediately. His flamboyant personality amused the Fallen. If not for his own limitations (chiefly his fear of death), the Fallen himself might have liked to transform into a battle mech and join the fight personally.

"I, Warrior Scorpion, will show them what a true killing blow looks like! Those Autobots won't know what hit them!"

Despite their bold words, the newly reborn Decepticons were nothing like the Autobots. Their arrogance far outstripped their actual power. In truth, these two underlings of Megalodon were far weaker than the three Dinobot warriors. Only Shadow possessed enough power to stand against Grimlock. Still, these reptiles strutted around proudly before the Fallen ...a display that irritated him.

Reluctantly, the mechanical ant stepped forward to make his request.

"Respected Lord, I believe my brother's combat ability is no less than theirs. And since I must manage so many untamed Predacons, I could use some help. Please, consider my proposal."

For someone who had only known Starscream a few days, this was already a generous gesture. Meanwhile, the Fallen toyed with a cracked, half-broken spark ...a leftover relic from that wolf mech. It was practically worthless, not even worth discarding.

Why not use it to test this fool?

Besides, the spark was so damaged that it probably couldn't even function properly. Even if it did, the result would be a defective product. Still, since this "Devil" was so insistent, perhaps it was worth humoring him.

"Hmm, Devil, you make a fair point. Our team does need logistics support. But as you can see, this spark is incomplete. Are you sure you want to give this to your subordinate? He might not even be able to transform into a proper Decepticon warrior!"

As he spoke, the Fallen deliberately glanced at Shadow and his two subordinates, whose optics glimmered with amusement. The prehistoric ant named Devil froze ...stepping right into the trap. (In truth, the Fallen still had several intact Decepticon sparks in his possession.)

"My lord, my brother and I will handle the rear line. If fighting is needed, I'll take care of it. My brother just needs to carry supplies. Whether he transforms or not doesn't matter."

Hmm… this so-called "Devil" had an intimidating name, but his intellect and emotional intelligence were clearly lacking. Still, having him near the front lines meant Starscream could easily cover for him ...and that would also reduce the risk of the Fallen uncovering Starscream's true identity.

"Hehe, since you insist, and everyone seems to agree ...then let's give this broken spark, once belonging to a legendary Decepticon warrior, to this little saber-toothed tiger!"

The Fallen pretended to be generous, but his eyes gleamed with mockery. Though he had included Devil in the Predacon battle lineup, he clearly didn't take the creature seriously. Everyone there ...except the naïve ant ...saw through his false kindness.

"Haha, congratulations, Brother Devil! At last you've got a younger brother to help you. Looks like you won't have to haul materials all by yourself anymore!"

Seeing the old fool rejoice while unknowingly being tricked, the mechanical dragon-beast known as Violent Shadow stepped forward with a forced smile and offered his congratulations as well.
