Chapter 127: The Fall of Humanity's Strongest Infantry

"My lord, could you lend me some of your generals? We've recently encountered formidable opponents in Western Europe. Their turtle formation is giving us terrible headaches! We hope you can help us deal with this problem!"

Where there is oppression, there is resistance ...an eternal truth. Through countless battles and painful lessons, the human legions gradually gained experience. For example, they learned to avoid truly primitive robots, but they could still fight the ground-crawling ones directly, treating them as little more than beasts with slightly higher intelligence.

The Huns, on the other hand, were much easier to defeat. Their hardest challenge came from the Roman Empire's phalanx formation ...a defensive and offensive tactic known as the "turtle formation." Soldiers would surround themselves with shields and advance slowly, thrusting spears or firing arrows through narrow gaps. Even the fierce Hun cavalry couldn't break through such a wall. Every clash ended in crushing defeat.

This greatly frustrated the Dark constellations, who eventually sought help from the Fallen. After all, there were only a handful of high-level Predacon warriors, and most of them were under the Fallen's command. Without their help, the Dark constellations had no chance of defeating the Romans.

"Master, according to our database on human civilizations, aside from that mysterious land in the East, the place called Rome is indeed the most powerful human empire on this planet. Its infantry phalanx ranks as the strongest conventional human military force recorded."

Acting as a logistics officer, the Devil quickly presented the intelligence he had gathered. He had visited the battlefields of both sides several times, but without orders from the Fallen ...and not being a combatant himself ...he merely flew over, collected data, and left.

Perhaps this was how the Fallen maintained control over these humans. If they could win too easily, they would lose their reverence for the Decepticons. So, the best strategy was to let them struggle and bleed, until they viewed the Fallen and his followers as almighty gods ...and offered them endless tribute.

It seemed time to intervene… but the Fallen still wanted to let them suffer a little longer, so they would truly understand who ruled this planet.

"Ha! As far as I know, we've already lost more than twenty Primal Beasts in your campaign, and you still can't crush that Roman legion? I'm beginning to doubt your competence. Perhaps you've grown old, and the Hun army needs a younger successor!"

The Fallen's tone was casual, but the Hun Chanyu's face turned pale. He immediately dropped to his knees, bowing frantically.

"Great master, please, calm your anger! Although our losses seem heavy, if we conquer the entire Roman Empire, we will gain tens of millions of slaves and countless minerals. The base we establish here will surely provide the Decepticons with a vast and rich source of resources!"

To these human kings, the Fallen was a god. A single casual remark from him could change the fate of the Huns. If they couldn't present benefits immediately, there was no appeasing this divine being's wrath.

"Very well. Since you've shown such effort, I'll postpone the previous reforms. I'll send my generals ...and my newly developed Chimera ...to your battlefield. I expect you to keep your word and show me the fruits of victory when we meet again."

The result so far satisfied the Fallen. Before launching a full-scale attack on the African pyramids, the cautious deity felt the need to establish a resource and energy base. If he pressed forward recklessly, he might repeat the same mistakes of the past.

Thus, the Roman Empire became the greatest thorn in his side. Initially, the Huns had planned to make the Romans surrender in the Fallen's name ...but they hadn't expected the Roman commander to be so arrogant, forcing a direct confrontation.

Unfortunately, these so-called "strongest infantrymen" were still only human. The Roman Empire had no alien technology to rely on, and when those powerful Transformers descended upon the battlefield, the fight quickly turned one-sided.

"General, what is that flying creature in the sky? Is that the legendary dragon? Will it destroy my legion?"

When the gigantic mechanical Chimera and the massive metallic dragon appeared on the battlefield simultaneously, the Romans were dumbfounded. They had never imagined facing such monsters.

Even so, to keep morale high, their generals ordered the legions to advance slowly in multiple turtle formations, hoping to bring down the two colossal Transformers with their tiny metal weapons.

But neither the creature in the sky nor the one on the ground seemed interested in attacking. Perhaps these insignificant humans weren't even worth their attention.

"Warrior Tarantulas and Warrior Scorponok, these ants are your responsibility. If you need help, bring along the Devil and that half-baked kitty. Let these foolish humans witness the power of a god!"

It felt incredible ...to look down upon all beings and be worshipped as a deity! At that moment, Shadow commanded the entire battlefield. Even the giant Chimera above had to obey his orders. To stand just below the throne of the Emperor was exhilarating beyond words.

"Yes, sir! We'll have some fun with these humans and teach them what it means to defy the dignity of a god!"

These two Primal Beast warriors might only count as mid-tier Decepticons on Cybertron, but on this primitive planet, they were treated as elite champions ...and that privilege made them fight all the more ferociously.

"BOOM!"

"AAAH! My legs! My eyes!"

A massive mudslide erupted from the ground ...the result of Warrior Tarantulas tunneling through the earth. This effortless strike obliterated an entire Roman infantry phalanx, swallowing over five hundred soldiers instantly while the rest were maimed or immobilized!

A similar scene unfolded not far away, where Warrior Scorponok unleashed his fury ...and the screams of dying soldiers echoed across the battlefield like a gruesome symphony to the hunters' ears…
