Chapter 101 - Chapter 92 Lock vs. Four!

The battle between Katsuki Bakugo and Izuku Midoriya ended the same way as in the original story.

Slightly different was how that ending came about.

Ochaco Uraraka went to find the location where the nuclear weapon was hidden, then contacted Midoriya over the radio, and Midoriya blasted the ceiling with One For All.

The tremendous force and wind pressure shattered an unknown number of floors in one go, tearing huge holes and leaving countless chunks of rubble.

And Ochaco Uraraka used her Zero Gravity Quirk, picked up a pillar from the building, and swung the rubble like a baseball.

Comet Home Run!

Even though Mezo Shoji's Quirk, Dupli-Arms, gave him plenty of arms, it was still hard to fight back with just four hands against two fists. Ochaco Uraraka took the opportunity to touch the nuclear weapon, and the first combat training match ended.

Team A, Izuku Midoriya and Ochaco Uraraka, the Hero team, wins!

"It's really a mess..." All Might looked at the traces of Midoriya's injuries and the ruined building, and wanted to call off the match several times.

In short, combat training continued, but in a different building.

Anyway, this was all a city setting full of buildings, so there were buildings everywhere.

The combat training that followed was very normal, without the exaggerated destruction of Team A versus Team D.

Next was Kyoka Jiro's Team B, the Villain team.

They were up against Team G: Mashirao Ojiro and Denki Kaminari.

This match was a bit more notable because, right when All Might began his explanation, Kyoka's teammate Toru Hagakure,

the invisible girl, began to "take off."

Her Quirk, Invisibility, makes her entire body transparent. It is very mystical, and no one else in the world has a Quirk like it. No one knows what she looks like with her whole body transparent.

But it can't make the things she's wearing transparent, so to other people's eyes, a school uniform and skirt floating in midair is a bit scary.

Therefore, in combat, Toru Hagakure takes off all her clothes. That is, she goes completely naked!

Otherwise, her clothes would still be floating in the air, which would be even more likely to draw attention.

In the monitoring room, Minoru Mineta, the little grape-headed boy, pressed his face excitedly against the screen.

It was just that, no matter how hard he strained his eyes, he couldn't see anything unsuitable for children.

After the match began, Kyoka Jiro and Toru Hagakure discussed their tactics, deciding not to stick to the nuclear weapon but to take the initiative and attack.

Kyoka Jiro alone would face the duo of Mashirao Ojiro and Denki Kaminari.

The result... was naturally a complete beatdown.

Denki Kaminari's Quirk is Electrification. It releases electric current, and to a certain extent it is only suited to solo fights.

Because he can't control how much he discharges, he can accidentally hurt his allies, and if he discharges too much at once, his brain short-circuits and he becomes an idiot for a short time.

And Mashirao Ojiro's Quirk is Tail, a strong tail that moves freely like a third hand.

He is a fighter type, good at close combat, but honestly he's a bit ordinary.

When the two of them found the nuclear weapon, Denki Kaminari led the charge, with Mashirao Ojiro watching from behind.

Denki Kaminari discharged massively, trying to take down Kyoka Jiro and Toru Hagakure, who was invisible somewhere, in one blow.

But Kyoka Jiro, who had mastered lightning magic, could not only withstand the discharged current, but also plugged her earphone jacks into the ground.

The earth conducts electricity.

Denki Kaminari ended up overdoing his own discharge, turned into an idiot, and was easily caught with the capture tape.

And while the lightning flashed, Toru Hagakure quietly approached Mashirao Ojiro and silently wrapped the capture tape around his body.

The two Heroes were captured by the Villain team, and the combat training was over.

Kyoka Jiro and Toru Hagakure of Team B, the Villain team, win!

When all the other teams had finished, Lock was left alone, facing Shoto Todoroki, Tenya Iida, Fumikage Tokoyami, and Minoru Mineta.

The final match was so special that the rest of the students were also very focused on the whole process and result of the battle.

In the monitoring room, they saw Lock alone, holding the nuclear weapon, on the display screen.

In the open center of the first floor of the building, he had simply placed the nuclear weapon right there and didn't move!

"Isn't that too overconfident?"

"He's alone, but he still put the nuke in such an obvious place."

The students of Class 1-A were also talking about it, but they hadn't expected Lock to choose that spot for the nuclear weapon.

As a reminder, the scenario was the same: a nuclear weapon, a Hero team, and a Villain team.

Because Lock was only one person, he could choose either the Villain team or the Hero team. He thought it over and decided to be the Villain team.

After all, rather than hunting for prey himself, he preferred to sit back and let the prey come to his door on its own!

"Five minutes of prep time? How boring."

While waiting for All Might to announce the start, Lock grew a little more serious and analyzed his opponents...

Shoto Todoroki, son of the No. 2 Pro Hero, Endeavor. His Quirk is Half-Cold Half-Hot, half fire, half ice, a Song of Ice and Fire.

On the surface, this Quirk has no weaknesses.

Because most emission-type Quirks are hard to use continuously, and the body suffers backlash.

For example, if Shoto Todoroki kept using only his half-cold side, his body would freeze. If he kept using only his half-hot side, he would burn himself.

But this combination of ice and fire perfectly offsets each side's backlash.

Therefore, Todoroki's weaknesses all come from himself: he's inexperienced, and he stubbornly uses only his half-cold side.

"Let's see if I can force out his half-hot side."

Lock rubbed his chin and thought: Shoto Todoroki's Quirk might be troublesome for others, but in front of his own Natsu-style Fire Dragon Slayer Magic and Gray-style Ice-Make Magic,

it wasn't worth a look at all!

Would you like some water?

Then, slightly more noteworthy were Fumikage Tokoyami and Tenya Iida.

The former's Quirk is Dark Shadow, a shadow-like monster living in his body that can stretch and materialize freely, with super high combat strength.

His Dark Shadow is especially destructive in dark environments, but it can also become hard to control.

In sunny environments it becomes easy to control, but its attack power weakens.

"Now that I think about it, his Quirk seems to be countered by me."

Lock thought about Tokoyami's Quirk weakness. Simply put, he's afraid of light, and Lock could easily cast lightning magic. "Iida's the same. When it comes to speed, compared to me..."

Lock shook his head helplessly, suddenly realizing that his opponents seemed to have trouble causing him any problems at all.

Tenya Iida's Quirk is Engine, with car-like exhaust pipes on his lower legs and super fast movement.

He has a trump card, Recipro Burst, which forcibly generates explosive momentum, giving him a speed invisible to the naked eye in an instant, at the cost of his engines temporarily stalling.

But Lock didn't think Iida's speed could match even half of his own.

"Start!"

Finally, after five minutes of long waiting, All Might announced the start of the battle.

Oh, right.

There was also Minoru Mineta, but there was no need to analyze him, because... in Lock's eyes, he wasn't even worth counting as the fifth scrub.
