Chapter 748 - Ch: 3

Chapter 3

To be Whole Again

Last Time

"Thank you for sharing this with me Harry, but I urge you not to sneak into the restriction sections anymore, it is restricted for a reason you see. Anyways thank you for filling this old man's curiosity, and good luck with the next task" Dumbledore said, before leaving the tent, intent on finding the books Harry mentioned in the library and having them removed if they contained something dangerous for the students.

Once Harry was sure Dumbledore was far away to hear him, Harry smiled and called out.

"You can come in now "

The smile converted into a smirk when he heard a yelp from outside.

Outside the Medical Tent, Hogwarts Grounds, 24th November 1994

' What are you hiding Potter?'

That was the thought that plagued Daphne's mind as she remembered Harry's performance in the first task.

Unlike the rest of the champions that came out of the tent into the arena to face their dragon, Potter was calm, too calm for a fourth-year student to be when facing one of the most dangerous dragons known, the Hungarian Horntail.

She noticed that while Potter was calm, his posture was stiff before he pointed his wand at his throat and cast a spell silently. That itself left many of the audience surprised, a fourth-year student was able to do silent spell casting, which is not taught until after one has cleared their OWL exams. Even after that many of the senior students face difficulty casting spells silently. And here was a fourteen-year-old boy, who was able to perform silent casting, even if it was just a simple sonorous, it was no less impressive.

What Potter did next shocked everyone, even the teachers, and reminded them why people thought he was the Heir of Slytherin back in their second year. He spoke parseltongue, what he said she did not know, nor could she understand it. All she did know was that the dragon did not like it, even if it could understand Potter.

The dragon shot out a huge blast of flames, which Potter stopped by bringing a huge ice wall up from the ground. Now she was no stranger to ice-related magic, she was in fact quite good at it, but she had no clue what spell Potter had used.

When the dragon brought down the wall with its humongous tail strike, Potter was not there. She could see him hiding behind a boulder, taking cover.

When the dragon could not find Potter, nor could it move around the place due to the chains attached to it, it gave an almighty pull and shattered the chains it was attached to. She heard screams from the younger students, and while she knew that the professors and dragon handlers would not let harm come to them, a bit of fear did creep up her spine, as she realized that the wards would not be able to stop it from flying into the stands where she was sitting head on.

Just when she was about to join the small set of group to move out of the stands, Potter had come out of his hiding place. And again, hissed something in parseltongue, but this time he had fired a spell.

"Did he just use parselmagic!?" exclaimed some of the older students in her stands

That got her eyes to widen in shock, especially when she saw what happened to the dragon upon the spell impacting.

' Potter used parselmagic! And was able to break off one of the dragon's horns using it!' Daphne thought in her head, and that again interested her, as clearly parselmagic was more powerful than the normal spells they used, and she wanted to know what else was possible using it.

As expected, the dragon let out a terrifying scream, before charging at Potter, what she saw next, she did not think was possible.

Potter flew out of the dragon's path, without a broom, and the dragon hit the arena wall head-on, the impact and vibrations could be felt even from where she sat, a good few meters away.

She refocused her attention on Potter, noticing that there was not one but multiple copies of Potter all over the arena.

' He's trying to confuse the dragon and buy himself some time, smart.' Daphne thought

When the dragon started attacking each and every copy of Potter one by one, the stands were filled with shrieks as they did not know which was the real one, but suddenly she noticed a white beam shoot out from behind a boulder, and the clouds started to turn black, heavy rain started pouring down, along with frequent lightning strikes, effectively stopping the dragon from flying.

' Potter knows elemental magic!' this realization caused her eyes to widen comically, as it was well known that many of the Aurors were also not able to control the elements, and here Potter was doing that with ease.

Potter then suddenly stepped away from the boulder from where the white beam was sent into the sky. He once again pointed his wand towards the sky, before doing a downward motion with the wand directly pointing it at the dragon.

A huge, thick, and crackling bolt of lightning shot out from the skies so bright she had to close her eyes and blink several times to be able to see clearly again, she noticed many of the audience were in the same state as her, and the dragon was moving around as if drunk, before falling on the ground flat.

' Did Potter just knock out a freaking dragon!' Daphne thought, not able to wrap her head around the fact, even though it happened right before her very eyes.

She then noticed Potter moving his wands in complex ways before iron chains a foot thick shot out of the ground and secured the dragon, before Potter just walked up to the nest, took the golden egg, and walked out. As if nothing had happened.

Once she processed all that happened in front of her, she tried to gather the audience's reaction, many were still shocked by what they just witnessed, but some like her, trained in the mind arts had already processed what had transpired and came to the same conclusion as her.

' Potter is incredibly powerful, and does not lack in the knowledge or the skill department either.'

And as they came to the conclusion, many who had harassed Potter in the past paled considerably, some even trembling. It was a good thing Potter was not out for payback, if he was, they could not do anything to stop him, not magically and certainly not politically.

Even Tracey, who was sitting beside her, who would have been dancing because she was proven right about Potter, sat still, shocked like everyone else.

But one thing did confuse her; if Potter was so skilled and powerful, why to hold back in classes, because that was the only thing that explained Potter getting average scores, he was holding back. But why?

As she thought of reasons that could potentially warrant Potter to hold back, she was dimly aware of the scores that the judges were announcing.

Diggory 30

Delacour 33

Krum 35

Potter 38

Which meant Potter was in the lead, but she did not care about that, still trying to figure out why Potter held back in class and came up empty.

She was suddenly brought out of her musings when Tracey nudged her and pointed towards the tent where the students had gone off to. She looked in that direction and she noticed Granger and Weasley making their way into the tent.

"What do you think they are doing? It's a restricted area." Tracey questioned

"I don't know but I am going to find out. Stay here." Daphne replied, making her way towards the tent's exit and ignoring Tracey calling her.

She made her way towards the tent, unseen, and cast a spell to help her hear what was being talked about in the tent.

She was shocked when she heard Potter declining Weasley and Granger's apology and all but telling them that he was not going to go back to Gryffindor. The 'Golden Trio' was done.

She quickly hid on the side of the tent, and let out her breath when she went unnoticed by Weasley and Granger.

Then the judges started announcing their scores and she couldn't help but scoff at the reason Potter was docked 2 points. Even without noticing the judge's reaction, she knew the reason for that, Karkaroff.

She again was forced to hide when she heard the judges and the competitors except for Dumbledore and Potter leave. That just got her more curious.

' What does Dumbledore want from Potter? Has he been training Potter for the tournament?' Daphne mused.

No, she was proven wrong when Dumbledore asked the same question that was on her mind, how did Potter learn the stuff he did, hearing Potter's response she knew it was highly probable that Potter was lying, Madam Prince would have known if there was a book on elemental magic or at least parselmagic and brought it to Dumbledore's notice, and he would have removed it from there. So why was Potter lying?

She was about to leave and wait for Potter a bit far away from the tent when Dumbledore left, before she heard Potter say.

"You can come in now "

She was so surprised that she could not help stop the yelp that she let out, her heart beating faster.

' How did he know I was here? Did he know from the beginning? No point in hiding now, he knows I am here, better to go inside and get some answers.' with that thought in mind, Daphne entered the tent.

Now that she was able to look at Potter closely, she noticed that Potter stood there without a scrape on his body, no signs of showing that he had just fought a dragon and come out victorious, not even any signs of magical exhaustion.

Potter still had that messy raven black hair, angular face, high cheekbones, and the same emerald green eyes, but they seemed brighter, almost aglow. And she also noticed the lack of spectacles. Not that she was complaining, it brought out the colors of his eyes, which she quite liked. Looking down she noticed that he had also filled out a bit more than last few years.

When she focused on his face again, she saw Potter looking at her with amusement dancing in his eyes and raising an eyebrow.

"Did you need something ?" Potter questioned.

"How did you know I was there?" Daphne questioned

"Trade secret , trade secret." Potter replied with an annoying smirk on his face.

"So, was there any other reason you were trying to hear in on the conversations, or did you just want to stare at me?" Potter taunted, that smirk staying in its place.

"Shut up Potter, don't get a big head, I was just curious." Daphne replied with a frosty tone.

"How can I help fill your curiosity, my lady?" Daphne raised an eyebrow at the softness in his tone.

"Did you really not enter your name into this tournament?" Daphne questioned, even though knowing the answer, but doubting her speculations after Potter's performance in the first task.

"No. I think even you might have figured it out by now, that I do not need the fame, nor the money. I have plenty of both of those things, and even when people call me an attention-seeking liar, they forget what I lost to get the fame. I would give up everything I have just to get my parents back." Harry ended with a soft tone.

Daphne not expecting this and was floored, people always seemed to forget that the fame Potter had came at a price, a heavy price, his parent's death. Realizing this, her eyes did soften a bit when looking at Potter and feeling a bit of sympathy for him. Alone in the world, and betrayed by his own housemates. Nobody should experience that.

"I am sorry." Daphne said softly, not knowing what to say to that.

"Why are you apologizing , it was not your fault. So, anyways, was there something else you needed?" trying to change the direction of the conversation, not wanting to end the conversation on a sad note.

"How did you learn those spells? I know you were lying to Dumbledore about finding them in the restricted section, otherwise Madam Prince would have surely taken out the book on parselmagic if she came across it." Daphne inquired.

"Very astute . That is also another one of my secrets I won't be sharing with you today, maybe when we know each other better?" Potter answered.

Before she could reply she heard a pop from behind her, when she turned to see who it was, there stood a house-elf, wriggling her thumbs.

"Winky being sorry to be interrupting yous, but Headmaster has asked Harry Potter to comes to his office." the house elf named Winky said.

"Thank you Winky, did the Headmaster say why he needed me there?" Potter addressed the elf politely.

Winky beamed at Potter while nodding her head enthusiastically.

"Hes being talking about resorting yous, all the House Heads also being there!" shocking Daphne immensely. Potter was going to be resorted, did she hear that right? There has never been a resorting in Hogwart's history.

"So, he's finally accepted my request. Thank you Winky, I will be there shortly." Potter addressed Winky, before the elf bowed before them and left with a pop.

"You asked for a resorting?!" Daphne questioned, trying to wrap her head around it that Potter asked to be resorted.

"Yes, I just was not feeling comfortable or safe in Gryffindor, and the teachers cannot figure out where I am staying, so they are finally giving me a resorting, anyways it was a pleasure meeting you ." Potter said before leaving the tent.

' That conversation did not answer any of my questions, in fact, it did the opposite, I have more questions than ever. And I am going to find answers for all of them.' Daphne thought, her mind set on it.

She started her walk back to her dorms, she had a letter to write to her father and know if Potter was really the Heir of Black family as well, or was he just lying.

The Headmaster's Office, Hogwarts, 24th November 1994

Professor McGonagall like before was waiting for Harry outside of the gargoyle that led to the headmaster's office. When she noticed him come, Harry could see the sadness in her eyes, but also understanding.

"Potter. Good job in the first task, congratulations. I assume you are aware why you have been called up here?" McGonagall questioned.

"Yes, Professor." Harry replied.

"Then you know we have decided to give you a resorting, and while it has never been done before in Hogwarts history, yours is a special case, hence we have made the exception." McGonagall said but hesitated before continuing.

"While I am sad to see one of my lions go, I do understand why you have to do it, it's a sad day for the Gryffindor house as we will lose one of our brightest, but we have brought this upon ourselves with our actions. I am just as much to blame for this as the student of Gryffindor as I did not stop or realize that a student was being harassed inside his own dorm. Rest assured the perpetrators have been given a strict warning along with detentions for the rest of the year." McGonagall said before leading Harry up the spiral staircase towards the headmaster's office.

"Thank you, Professor." Harry replied.

As they entered the office Harry noticed all the Head of the four Houses were present. Snape was in a dark corner of the office, Professors Sprout and Flitwick standing on the left side of where Dumbledore was seated and Professor McGonagall moved to stand on the other side.

"Come in Harry, I am sure Professor McGonagall has informed you why we are meeting, and that this is a special case where we are allowing a student to be resorted?" Dumbledore addressed Harry.

"Yes sir" Harry replied.

Dumbledore gestured to Harry towards the chair in front of his desk, and Harry moved to sit in it. Once he was seated, McGonagall placed the sorting hat on Harry's head.

' Hmm interesting, it seems I have already sorted you, twice if your memories are anything to go by, how is that possible… Ohh a time traveler, my my, never thought I would see the day.' a voice exclaimed in his head.

' Yes, so you know the reason why I want to be resorted, and the house I want to be in.' Harry replied, not really worried about the hat letting out his secrets, as reading through Salazar's journals he knew that the hat was charmed not to reveal any information it got from the student's mind, not even to the founders.

' Yes, yes, that would be the best house for you, Gryffindor did not really work out for you, and you can't go there knowing who else resides in that tower, sending you to Slytherin would be a bad idea unless I want half the Slytherins to be found dead tomorrow, and you are not exactly loyal to everyone are you, you are only loyal to those that have earned your trust, so Hufflepuff is also out of the question. With that in mind.' The hat replied in his head before shouting out loud

"RAVENCLAW"

Ravenclaw Common Room, Hogwarts, 24th November 1994

The students of Ravenclaw were going about their business, divided into groups, some discussing the different spells they saw being used in the first task by the competitors, some silently reading books, and some planning on what to steal from the loony next.

Many of them were still trying to figure out the spells that Harry used in the first task. Being naturally curious, once they got back to the dorm, they rushed to figure out the spells that all the competitors used, and it was easy to find them, as Cedric had just used transfiguration, while Fleur had used her Veela charms and Krum had used the conjunctivitis curse to distract the dragon.

But what had them all baffled was that none of them could find any spell or theory close to the elemental spells that Harry had used, and being a Ravenclaw student with no answers was really frustrating them to no end.

All had just one thought running through their heads

' Only if I could talk to Potter about the spells he performed.', that is what they wished the most right now.

Just then the door to their common room was opened, and in walked their Head of the House, Professor Filius Flitwick, but he was not alone, in walked the same boy that most of them wanted to talk to, Harry Potter.

"Good Afternoon students! Hope you had a wonderful time witnessing the first task of the Triwizard tournament. And while I know you all would be spent after this long day, I just have an important announcement to make." Professor Filius said, gaining the attention of the entire house, many of them looking at Harry curiously.

"Today, due to special circumstances, a resorting was done for a student of Hogwarts for the first time, and I am most excited to introduce your new Housemate to all of you. Please join me in welcoming Harry Potter to our house." Professor Filius announced.

Harry noticed that while many of the students cheered after hearing Professor Filius's announcement, all or most of them had a hungry expression on their faces and Harry knew that if he stayed here any longer, he was going to be grilled about the spells he used in the first task.

So, Harry decided to make a hasty retreat to his assigned dorms after thanking the professor and excusing himself by saying that he was tired after today's task and would like to get some rest in before tomorrow's classes.

Once Harry entered his assigned dorm he was relieved to find that the Ravenclaw students had rooms where two students would be staying in pairs, but since there were four Ravenclaw boys before he joined, he got the third room all to himself.

Letting out a sigh, Harry set to work, he started unpacking all the stuff that he had with him, and while going through the clothes that he had, he realized that he would need to go shopping on the next Hogsmeade weekend.

' Maybe I can take Susan with me, surely she won't come on a date after we have just had one conversation, but there are 2 weeks between the next Hogsmeade weekend and now, surely I can get close enough to her that she agrees to accompany me to Hogsmeade, if not on a date, then at least as a friend.' Harry thought.

As he started making plans on how to approach Susan, he absent-mindedly also started warding his room, not that he expected to be attacked in the middle of the night, but one can never be too sure.

Once he was done warding the room and making sure it was silent, he removed his shirt and allowed Salena to come out.

" How was it, Master? I could hear your conversations with Mistresses Daphne and Susan, but was not able to see the first task. " Salena asked as slithered up and settled on Harry's shoulder, looking at him with a curious expression.

"It was all right I guess, I achieved what I wanted to, catch Daph's attention, but I also in the process of preventing the dragon from harming the students revealed a bit more about my true knowledge than I intended to." Harry replied, stroking Salena's head lovingly.

" As long as you and the Mistresses are fine, that's all that matters, and I heard your conversation with Dumbledore, let's just hope he bought the story you gave him. " Salena replied

"Thank you for reminding me Salena, I will have to sneak out today and add books containing those spells in the restricted section of the library, and place them somewhere that not having a record of those books in the register could easily be interpreted as Madam Prince 'missing' them while conducting an audit." Harry thanked Salena.

" No issues Master. So, what's next? " Salena asked

The Great Hall, Hogwarts, 25th November 1994

The student mill was abuzz, apparently, Rita Skeeter's article said that she had on good authority that the spells that Harry Potter used to subdue his dragon were dark in nature and specified that Harry Potter was a dark lord in training.

While most had gotten accustomed to Rita's lies, they did not give the headlines any thought, about Harry Potter going dark, but it did bring about a sense of foreboding and uneasiness as they all thought back to the way Harry Potter handled the dragon, most of them could say they felt most awed at that moment when Harry managed to knock the dragon out cold. Not only did he knock the dragon out, but he also showcased his skills in elemental magic, first creating that huge wall of ice, changing the weather, channelling the lightning bolt, and creating those iron chains that shot out of the ground securing the dragon tightly in its place and how could one forget the fact that Harry could fly without a broom.

The reactions of the houses and students of the visiting schools were quite clear. Durmstrang students held some respect for Harry now, they respected power, and Harry had shown he was clearly not lacking any. Beauxbatons students' female population has developed a crush on him, while the males feared and were also envious of him.

Gryffindor wanted Harry to forgive them and return to the tower, and Ravenclaw wanted to grill him and ask how was he able to do what he had done. And many of the Hufflepuff and Slytherin students' were the same, many were in awe of him and were rethinking their decision to harass the Boy Who Lived.

Many had initially thought of him as a powerful mysterious wizard with special powers when they heard that he had defeated one of the most dangerous Dark Lords in history, while only being a babe. But that changed when Harry started attending Hogwarts, many were quick to dismiss the idea of him being any special. As he never showed anything in class, except Charms and DADA.

But what he had done in the first task was beyond amazing, and many of the perpetrators that harassed Harry after his name came out of the Goblet or before that, were quite worried and feared his retribution.

The same was the case with one Hufflepuff student, Justin Finch-Fletchley, who had always been rude to Harry after their second year, making sure to taunt him whenever they met in the corridors. And had been outright mean after Harry's name came out of the Goblet. The same boy was now sweating, wondering if he would be facing Harry's wrath.

"Do you think I should apologize? I mean I was kind of rude to him these last few days." Justin questioned his year mates for advice.

"Kind of rude?! Justin you were downright mean, insinuating that his parents would be ashamed of him!" Hannah retorted, with Susan beside her equally mad, her nose flaring.

"I mean, all right, yeah, I was mean, but I did not know that he was powerful enough to knock out a freaking dragon back then!" Justin now sweating.

"So, you mean to say that you want to apologize because he is powerful, not because you finally figured out you were wrong?!" Susan exclaimed.

Just when Justin was about to answer, Susan brought up her hand, stopping him in the process.

"No need to answer, it was a rhetorical question Fletchley." Susan getting angrier.

Hearing this caused Justin to flinch and scoot away from the angry redhead.

"I know what Justin did was wrong, but why are you getting so worked up over this Susan?" Hannah questioned, looking at Susan curiously. She was surprised when she saw Susan's cheeks gain a bit of red, not from anger, but from embarrassment. Now she was super curious.

"I talked to Harry yesterday before the first task, he was a nice guy, friendly even, and I just could not understand how these people are acting towards him. Makes me a bit angry." Susan replied a bit shyly.

"Uh huh…., So you talked to Harry huh?" Hannah asked teasingly, emphasizing the fact that she noticed Susan using Harry's first name.

This caused Susan to blush even more and she started focusing on her food, trying her best to not give her best friend any attention, lest she teases her more.

But that caused Susan to start thinking of Harry, his performance in the first task was amazing, and if that was anything to go by, Harry really did not need any ' help' in the second task as he pretended.

That caused her to think about why he really needed her help, or pretend to ask for help. That's when she remembered him talking about it being lonely. That sealed it for Susan, even if she would not be of any help to Harry with regards to this tournament, she would give him a friend to talk to.

With that in mind, she turned her head towards the Gryffindor table, searching if Harry had come for meal today, or had decided to skip it like the last few weeks

She did not find Harry, but she did notice one thing, all the Gryffindor students were looking depressed, she did not know why, so she turned to Hannah, knowing that she was the gossip queen of Hufflepuff and would surely know why.

"Hey Hannah, why are the Gryffindor students looking so depressed?" Susan questioned.

"Haven't you heard! Harry Potter was apparently resorted, the first in Hogwarts history to be resorted! Many have heard about it, and that's what most are talking about. Potter was resorted into …" before Hannah could continue, she was stopped when the very person she was talking about walked into the hall, causing silence to fall all over the Great Hall.

There was Harry Potter, standing in Ravenclaw colors.

As Harry walked into the Great Hall he noticed that all students had gone silent, and were watching him instead. Quite a few female population of the Beauxbatons and Durmstrang students were openly staring at him, a few envious gazes from the males of Beauxbatons, and every Durmstrang boy that met his eye nodded at him before going back to their food.

Gryffindor looked like their worst fear had come true, Ravenclaw students were staring at him again with the hungry expression, wanting to grill him for answers, while quite a few of the Slytherin and Hufflepuff students looked sacred.

None of this mattered to Harry, as he calmly walked over to the Ravenclaw table and sat in front of an old friend of his, who was looking somewhere with a dreamy expression, which caused quite a few murmurs to go around on the Ravenclaw table.

"Hello, Harry Potter" Luna greeted Harry as he sat down.

"Hello, is it?" Harry replied

"Luna is fine, some people also call me Lonny." Luna replied

Harry frowned at this, he knew Luna was bullied in the original timeline, and now that he was in Ravenclaw, he was going to make sure it did not happen this time around.

"That's not very nice of them. You can call me Harry by the way. How are you this fine morning?" Harry questioned Luna.

"I am doing good, though the Nargels have taken my shoes, so I am feeling a bit cold in my feet." Luna answered in the same dreamy voice.

Harry frowned at this and looked down the table, where most were trying to listen to their conversations before he turned his attention back to Luna.

"Let me help you there, what size shoes do you wear Luna?" Harry questioned taking out his wand.

Once he had the size, he waved his wand and conjured a perfect pair of shoes before giving them to Luna.

"These are permeant, so you do not have to worry about them vanishing after some time, and if these are also stolen, I will be sure to have a serious conversation with those Nargels." Harry said while emphasizing the words 'serious conversation' and 'stolen' while glancing down the Ravenclaw table. Making sure the point got across.

While the bullies heard that and gulped, before deciding to leave 'Loony' alone, now that Harry had taken her under his wing so to say. They feared what he might do to them. While the others were shocked once more at seeing Harry perform permanent conjuration, another piece of magic even the adult witches and wizards struggled with.

Library, Hogwarts, 26th November 1994

Harry after finishing his classes, was seated in the library, just browsing through different books, but was finding them either irrelevant or things that he had already mastered. But he had to keep up appearances to show that he was in fact gaining knowledge from the library and it was the reason for his excellent performance in the first task.

As Harry was about to close the current book on charms that he was reading, he felt the same warm feeling wash over him that he felt two days back, by the Black Lake, which caused Harry to smile.

"Hi Harry, how are you?" a voice greeted him.

Looking up Harry noticed, it indeed was Susan. With that warm smile, looking a bit nervous.

"Hi Susan, I am doing great! Thanks for asking. How are you this fine day?" Harry returned the greeting while gesturing Susan toward the seat opposite him.

"I am doing good too. Just wanted to congratulate you on your amazing performance in the first task." Susan said while taking the seat opposite him.

Suddenly looking shy, she hesitantly added. "And I also wanted to check if you still needed my help with the second task?"

Harry almost chuckled seeing Susan like this, obviously reminiscing on the first real conversation he had with Susan in the original timeline.

"Absolutely! The judges have said that the golden egg we got in the first task was the clue to the second one as well, but I am just not able to figure it out, all it does when I open it is screech." Harry lied smoothly about needing help, he of course knew what the task was already.

Harry removed the golden egg that he carried with him in his bag and gave it to Susan, but before he could stop her or put up a silencing ward Susan opened the egg, and out came the most loud and painful wail that one would hear in their life.

Causing Susan to drop the egg and Harry to quickly close it shut using his wand. When Harry looked towards Susan, she had her hands covering her ears, eyes closed shut and chest heaving while taking deep breaths, clearly surprised by the loud noise.

Just as Harry was going to ask her if she was all right, in came an angry Madam Prince.

"What is the meaning of this !? I ought to throw you out and ban you for life just on the basis of you sneaking into the restricted section! And now you are doing this? Explain yourself!" Madam Prince demanded.

Harry winced, Madam Prince might have gotten to know about him sneaking in, by Dumbledore no doubt, and he was going to get it now.

"Terribly sorry Madam, but as you know I am part of the Triwizard tournament and we were told the clue to our second task was in this egg. So curiously I opened the egg and it suddenly started letting out a terrible screeching noise." Harry apologized and tried to calm Madam Prince down a bit.

Hearing this the librarian did calm down, before warning Harry once more and leaving.

Harry wasted no time in putting up a silencing ward the second she left. He then looked up at Susan, watching him with eyes comically wide.

As they stared at each other, they suddenly burst into laughter, holding their stomachs at the hilarity of the situation. And Harry was thankful for setting up the wards around them, otherwise, they surely would have been kicked out.

AN

Thanks for sticking around guys.

This will be a long AN. I have an important announcement to make.

So, I just wanted to talk about my primary purpose to writing this fic and any other I write in the future.

Me working 12 to 13 hrs a day at office, working on my Master's application, doing tonnes of courses on educational websites. This fic is just a way to calm me down and do something different. I have realized that entertaining others was never my primary goal, it was about entertaining me, and helping calm myself down, and for that same reason, I have decided that me uploading on ffnet is just going to be a way for me to store my work and revisit it at a later date if I want to, so from now on I will not be promoting my fic, or actively ask readers how they found the chapter to be. This fic's primary purpose is to entertain me, and if it entertains someone else (you) then all the better for it.

With this in mind I would like to wholeheartedly thank AlphaFlash, and HardianPotterPeverell for reviewing these few chapters, and giving me some great ideas, but going forward, my chapters will not be BETA read, as I previously said, this fic is to entertain me, and I see no reason I should waste their valuable time, in me doing so.

So, if you chose to read ahead, please understand that there WILL be mistakes, as English is my second language.

And most importantly, this fic will go as I want it to, if I want OP Harry, there will be OP Harry, if I want Voldy to die like a coward, it will happen. Please, don't take this the wrong way. I don't want to be rude, but this fic is for me, that's all.

Those that already are in contact with me through discord, their ideas will be always welcomed. Alphie and Peve's opinion I will anyways make sure to take before I write the chapter anyways XD.

So, we got a POV of Daphne and her following conversation with Harry.

Harry got resorted into Ravenclaw, and the reason for that you will understand once the story grows a bit more.

Harry has taken Luna under his wing; I am sure no one will be foolish enough to bully Luna now.

Friendship between Harry and Susan has initiated.

Next up, few more conversations between Harry and Susan, a bit of Daphne in it and maybe a Hogsmeade trip if I can fit it into the chapter.

More Chapters
