As soon as she heard my words, Miu quickly got up from my bed and walked over to me.

"What did you say? Did you say the series you filmed premieres today? What's it called again? *A Piece of My Heart*?"

"Yeah, that's the one. That's probably why I got a message from the actress Aya Fuji. It's been a while since we last talked."

She had sent me a message saying she wanted to meet up so we could watch the premiere together.

In fact, the other actors who took part in the filming had sent me the same message.

They were all going to watch the premiere together.

"What message?"

"She told me that the main cast from the series will be watching the premiere together. The director and the writer will be there too."

"You should go!" Miu said excitedly. "You have to! It's important to stay in touch with popular actors. At least, that's what I read in some books."

"Well, you're right." I let out a sigh. "I'll reply to actor Ren Kisaragi's message. Aya Fuji is a bit unpleasant."

"What would people think if they heard you say something like that about actress Aya Fuji? They'd definitely kill you. You'd get canceled on the internet."

"Well, I don't care. I'm just telling the truth."

"But it's surprising that you have the contact information for all those actors and actresses..."

"I don't have that many contacts. Besides them, I also have Eiri's and Keiko's."

"Keiko Fujimura?"

"Yeah, that's right."

"I'd forgotten she was part of the series." Miu laughed.

"Do you like her?" I asked.

"Of course I do! She starred in *The Doctor* and *Cursed Asylum*. She's an incredible actress!"

She's really a fan...

I'd never even heard of those movies.

"Would you like to meet her?" I asked with a smile.

"Are you serious?"

Miu froze.

"Yeah. We're going to watch the premiere in a private screening room. You can meet the cast. I don't think they'll mind if you come with me."

"B-But I don't even have clothes for an event like that. T-That's impossible."

"It doesn't matter what you wear. Are you coming or not?"

"Alright, I'll go!"

"Great. It starts at 7:00 PM."

"Okay! I'll start getting ready!"

"Start getting ready? It's not even 3:00 PM yet."

"But I need to get ready!"

Miu hurried out of the office.

She had her own room now, so she went straight there.

I let out a sigh before opening Twitter.

Earlier this morning, the anime adaptation of *Oregairu* had finally been announced. They had taken a while to reveal it. Posts about the announcement were blowing up.

Everyone was incredibly excited.

I retweeted a few posts before writing a new email to Mr. Kuroda and another to Mr. Kenji. I sent Volume 6 of *Oregairu* to Mr. Kuroda and a new chapter of *Dragon Ball* to Mr. Kenji.

I've been sending him two chapters every week.

To be honest, I care much more about my career as a light novel author than my career as a manga artist. *Dragon Ball*'s sales and popularity are through the roof, constantly ranking number one in sales.

An anime adaptation will probably be announced soon.

Even so, I can't bring myself to care about *Dragon Ball* as much as I care about the light novels I've published.

'Maybe because I've never been a huge fan of *Dragon Ball*.'

After sending both emails, I sent a second one to Mr. Kuroda asking about the production of *Oregairu*. Even though the anime had been announced, the studio and director still hadn't been revealed.

I was curious.

I also decided to ask whether I could participate in the anime's production. I genuinely wanted to. Whether by writing the script or perhaps storyboarding an episode.

I'd gained plenty of experience working on "A Silent Voice".

Speaking of which, I should ask Asuna for an update on that project.

The last time we talked, she said everything was going well and that production on the full-length anime adaptation of "A Silent Voice" would begin very soon.

And I'd be writing the script for every episode.

"Twelve episodes... I still have no idea how I'm going to add that much content to the story. Even using the manga as the basis for the script, there isn't that much material. I'll have to create a lot of original content."

But honestly, I didn't want to think about that right now.

So I sent the email to Mr. Kuroda and then stood up to stretch a little.

After that, I picked up my phone and opened Instagram.

"I'm already close to 1.5 million followers... My Instagram has started growing even faster..."

I wonder if it'll grow even more once the first episode of *A Piece of My Heart* airs on TV.

I appear in the first episode, even if it's not a particularly major role.

Well, whatever.

"My page only has photos I took for brands."

Maybe I should start posting some pictures from my daily life.

So I took a picture of my office, making sure my computer was visible.

I posted it to my story with the caption:

"This is the workspace where I do my job. What do you think?"

The picture turned out really well.

I immediately started receiving replies to my story. A lot of people complimented my setup and said things like, "Wow, you're really rich," and so on.

Well, of course I'm rich.

If they ever saw my house, they'd be even more surprised.

Since I was in a good mood, I even replied to a few direct messages.

The people I replied to completely lost it, celebrating and sending me a flood of messages.

Then, out of nowhere, a woman even sent me a nude photo.

I simply closed the conversation as if nothing had happened.

"So there really are women who do things like that. I thought only men did."

I let out a sigh.
