Viona's POV
The loud hum of the jet engine and the harsh wind made my steps feel heavy as I ran toward the boarding stairs.
I cursed inwardly, narrowing my eyes so I would not stumble while climbing up.
In contrast to my indifference, my kids, each carried by their nannies and wearing earmuffs, looked bright and excited at the sight of the jet again.
Even Reece, who always wore that smug expression, was smiling now, his eyes lit up ever since we left the house.
But I knew it was not just the trip. That damn promise of coffee from Rafael was what had him this eager.
I quickly took my seat and fastened my seatbelt. My gaze swept across the cabin where everyone was still busy settling into their seats.
Then I pulled out my phone from my parka pocket. I needed to message Jane first.
Viona: Jane, can you find this person's information for me? I'll attach the file you need to track her. Deadline: the day after tomorrow.
