From Alek's perspective:
We were transported to a place I didn't recognize. Before me was a massive empty field with dark blue grass and some weird flowers growing from it. I quickly looked around and didn't notice any mountains or buildings in the distance. It was completely empty.
I looked at the man wearing a hoodie, who was previously bleeding, only to realize that the bleeding had stopped. He didn't look upset, even though he had been stabbed. On the contrary, he looked calm and collected.
The man with a knife jumped away from the both of us and adopted a battle stance. He looked scared, even though he had the advantage just moments before.
The man wearing a hoodie stood still, waiting for his opponent to move. He didn't seem fazed at all.
The man with a knife mustered up the courage and jumped at the man wearing a hoodie, aiming for his head. And then:
*BAM
I heard a loud sound. The man with a knife was suddenly lying unconscious, with a clearly visible fist mark on his face.
I was astonished at the power of the punch, but also relieved, knowing we were safe.
The man wearing a hoodie turned to me, crouched and looked me in the eyes. I noticed they were a shade of blue and his hair was white. He was very pretty and looked like he was in his early 20s.
He touched my head and with a kind and gentle smile he said:
''Nice work kid, you deserve an award''
After saying that, he put his index and middle finger on my chest and violently pushed them in. I felt a sharp pain in my chest and passed out.
I woke up at the nurses office at school and was informed that the man in a hoodie brought me there. After a short check-up, my parents were called and I was sent home.
The next morning, I woke up feeling better than usual. I felt like I could jump higher, run faster, lift a little more. It was as if a huge weight had been lifted of my shoulders.
I couldn't stop thinking about what happened yesterday. So many questions were on my mind: What was that place? Who was that man?
In that moment, I decided to go back to that dark alley.
