I believed that I was somewhat smart-I mean, no one had told me otherwise. So I ran with it, and then lifted off of the ground, until I could no longer see the spinning rock I used to reside on.
"are you by any chance going to do retakes?"
I lifted my head out of my arms to gaze at a paper I could only assume was mines, strictly under Mrs.Roy's evaluation.
"What will my grade be after you grade our most recent lab?"
"Well it's worth what two quizzes would be, so around a max 6% increase-you don't have to take the retake but It wouldn't hurt too" She said resting her attention elsewhere.
I winded my body around, to ask "What do you think Titus, should I do corrections or retakes?" Titus has a habit of delaying his responses almost as if he resides in a world of his own. It's not that he's aloof he's simply-"Retakes."
"are you sure?"
"Yeah I highly doubt you'll get the same score if not a lower one."
"Yeah thought so, thanks for the confidence boost Titus"
"sure" he mumbled.
Oh no, I'm in no way friends with Titus-if I were to put a label on us it'd be acquaintances. But nevertheless he's inherit ability to isolate himself from others to solve an issue is admirable, after all:efficiency is the worlds most beautiful formula.
The reason I don't want to take the retake wasn't because of self doubt or anything trivial-well, it might sound kind of trivial but, I see no reason to keep living, games are boring, in fact they've never been a magnet of my attention. As the days go by I see myself nearing what could only be described as nothing. But what is nothing? That's where my interest lies. To be nearing nothing you have to be astray from something like a purpose and therefore inherently be attracted to something else so isn't the massive black hole that pulls me away from what I believe is a purpose for living inherently-something in the first place?
