Mu Zhe stared at Lulu who was busy with his study without blinking. There was something he wanted to ask. But he didn't know where to start or how to says. Every words was stuck in his throat like a stone. Hard and hurting.
"Stop looking at me. You'll make a hole on my back if you keep looking at me like that."
Lulu said. Closing his book then turning to face Mu Zhe who was still watching from the edge of his bed.
"Haaa...."
Lulu let out a heavy sigh. Mu Zhe who didn't bounce when being reprimanded like that must have something heavy playing in his head. Something that would definitely trap him.
"What actually happened here?"
Mu Zhe asked. Lulu swallowed his saliva. It felt bitter. Lulu smiled as he shook his head.
"I don't know either."
He answered while pulling Mu Zhe's shoulder towards him. Maybe everything that happened was too heavy for his Mu Zhe.
"Lulu."
"Hmm?"
"What will happen to us?"
Mu Zhe asked as he resting his head on Lulu's shoulder. What happened really took away all of his peace.
From his meeting with Li Yue, Li Da's death and now, they had to go through physical training that was mentally and physically exhausting.
"We will be fine."
Lulu answered while gently stroking Mu Zhe's shoulder. His heart felt sad and hurt. Mu Zhe who always smiled for him, Mu Zhe who always got angry if his wishes were not met, Mu Zhe who sulked if he was not given attention. Now he was leaning weakly on his shoulder.
"I will protect you no matter what happens. I promise."
Lulu give his truthfully promised. Mu Zhe's tears began to fall. He had been trying to hold on for a long time. Trying to be strong.
"Mu Zhe..."
Lulu called softly. Mu Zhe was silent. Her tears were flowing faster and faster. He bit his lip to hold back his tears. But his heart and feelings failed to be persuaded. His chest feels like its gonna be explode anytime soon.
Lulu hugged Mu Zhe tightly. The man's tears really weakened him.
"Don't be afraid. I'm here with you."
Lulu said. Mu Zhe hugged Lulu. Tightly. He started to sobbing in Lulu's arms. Pouring all of his frustration in there.
"I won't leave you. Don't cry. Nothing will happen to you."
Lulu said trying to persuade. Mu Zhe's crying really hurt his whole soul and sanity. However, Mu Zhe's crying was getting stronger. It was getting stronger and sounded tight.
"Please forgive me."
Lulu said as he kissed the man's head in his arms. The man he loved the most. The man who was the only purpose of his life. The man he would protect with his whole soul and life. Without him, his life lost its meaning.
Mu Zhe cried until he fell asleep in Lulu's arms. Maybe his whole soul and body were too tired after days of acting strong.
Lulu laid Mu Zhe down on the bed. Staring at that face with love. He gently stroked Mu Zhe's hair and wipe the leftover tears. He lean closer to Mu Zhe ear and he whispering.
"I'm sorry."
Regretful of what happened. His family problems dragged Mu Zhe into a deep abyss. What was Mu Zhe's fault? Nothing. What was wrong with loving Mu Zhe? Nothing. What was wrong with being born into this world? Nothing. But why did fate play tricks on them?
Lulu covered Mu Zhe with his blanket and kiss his forehead gently. Mu Zhe's face was swollen after hours of crying non-stop. Lulu bit his lips. His heart really broken at that moment.
"Mu Zhe. Rest well. I'll make sure everything is okay for you."
Lulu said and kissed the man's forehead again.
"Fantuan. Stay with your daddy."
Lulu said to Fantuan who had been sitting by their side all along. Fantuan got up and walked over to Mu Zhe. Rubbing his head on Mu Zhe's forehead a few times then lying down next to him.
Lulu smiled and opened the door. He needed to go out to calm his mind.
As soon as the door opened, the others were already waiting in front of his room. Mu Zhe's crying really broke the hearts of those who heard it. Now they knew, Mu Zhe was not as calm as they seemed.
"Is he okay?"
Zhang Yiran asked. Lulu nodded.
"At least for now."
Lulu replied while closing the door.
"We have to discuss this with Bo Ya."
Zhang Yiran suggested. He could no longer be patient after hearing his best friend's crying. His eyes glanced at Ah Fei.
"Ah Fei."
Ah Fei raised his face. Stared at Zhang Yiran's face with full of questions.
"Are you really okay?"
Zhang Yiran asked. The question made Ah Fei also want to cry as hard as he could. Ah Fei pursed his lips. Hold back the tears that are on the verge of eyes.
Zhang Yiran pulled Ah Fei into his embrace. Gently caressing the man's shoulder.
"I'm sorry."
Zhang Yiran said. Hearing that. Ah Fei's tears could no longer be held back. They ran down his cheeks. The atmosphere became heavy after Ah Fei crying silently in Zhang Yiran's arms.
Zhou Jun tightly held Ma Yuan's hand. He didn't want Ma Yuan to be the third person to cry because of what happened. Ma Yuan just kept quiet. He knew Zhou Jun would always be by his side. At least Zhou Jun had promised that.
"We will stop all this."
Said a voice out of nowhere. Everyone turned around. Ru Yi came out from where he had been hiding earlier. Hearing all their fears. All eyes stared at that face without blinking. Asking for a definite answer.
"Don't worry..."
Ru Yi said and walked towards them.
"Just leave the dangerous task to us. Your jobs was studying for your future. And to be strong."
Ru Yi said as he gently patted Lulu's back.
"Don't make the same mistake as your father."
Ru Yi added.
"If he at least knew a few martial arts... this wouldn't have dragged on like this."
He said. Ru Yi looked at each face in front of him one by one.
"You have to be strong to protect the people you love."
Ru Yi turned his gaze to Ah Fei who was still in Zhang Yiran's embrace.
"Don't worry. If you can't fight with strength, you can fight with your brain."
Ru Yi gently patted Ah Fei's shoulder. He knew that not everyone was born to have a strong physical. Li Yue didn't have that either. But she had a cunning brain.
"Fu Heng!"
Ru Yi shouted. Fu Heng came out of hie hiding place. Smiling as all eyes stared at him in surprise. No more beautiful dresses. No more long flowing hair. No more layers of makeup. All left was a plain male with his smuggling face.
"Hello everyone."
He said with a big smile.
"Stop that. You look disgusting."
Ru Yi said while pushing Fu Heng's face away.
"Ah... you don't enjoy the beauty of God's creation at all."
Fu Heng said, pretending to be sullen. Ru Yi gave Fu Heng a death glare.
"Okay... I'm being serious now. Uhm! Errr... whoever can't bear to continue with the extreme physical training, can come with me later. I'll teach you how to protect yourself."
He said.

He said, becoming serious all of sudden.
