"If the people at the Nuclear Missile explosion's epicenter were instantly vaporized, counting as a peaceful death without pain..."
"Then, when these... nuclear fallout dust clouds drift to the surrounding areas..."
"Those... people exposed to radiation are the most innocent, the most pained, and the most tragic people in this war!"
Waving his hand to disperse the nuclear fallout dust drifting towards him, Michael slowly shook his head.
The several cities struck by ten Nuclear Missiles had already vanished into dust, directly becoming several huge craters. The radiation on site was so strong that it likely wouldn't dissipate much even after a thousand years...
And the three Nuclear Missiles that were intercepted high in the sky earlier, in fact, also posed an extremely strong radiation threat to all nearby populations.
After all, they weren't destroyed during space flight; Nuclear Missiles destroyed during their terminal acceleration phase are actually more dangerous than letting them hit their targets.
Especially with the sea breeze from the West Coast, the probability of people in the interior of Mi Federation being affected by radioactive dust is extremely high!...
Although he experienced it firsthand, this Nuclear Missile explosion did not have any effect on Michael.
Michael didn't even put up the most basic defenses; neither the intense light radiation, nor the Impact, nor the dust radiation, etc., had the slightest effect on Michael.
With Michael's current Multiverse Level strength, for him to be affected, it would at least require an attack from a Single Universe Level expert. And to injure Michael, it would require a giant at least on the same level as Michael, or even stronger.
Not to mention Michael's own defensive capabilities.
Just the mutated gem's ability to actively protect its master would instantly absorb most of the power attacking Michael.
Especially as Michael gained more and more control over the mutated gem, most of any attack directed at Michael would be instantly absorbed by the mutated gem.
If Michael were to fully control the mutated gem, he would probably have no rivals left in the Marvel Universe!
With Michael's current 90% control over the mutated gem, he can already instantly absorb 90% of the power attacking him. Any attack on Michael will instantly have its power weakened by 90%.
Once Michael fully controls the mutated gem, all power attacking him will be absorbed and dissipated by the mutated gem.
Even if Michael dropped all his defenses and stood there letting people hit him, everyone would be exhausted to death, and Michael would not suffer any harm.
Of course, no matter how strong the mutated gem is, it will have an upper limit.
But how high that upper limit is, is something no one knows.
Perhaps, when Michael fully controls the mutated gem, he might know that at least, in the Marvel Universe, the mutated gem is... that invincible!
The mutated gem is... that invincible!...
Whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh
Less than ten minutes after Mi Federation was attacked by Nuclear Missiles, dozens of various medium- and long-range missiles carrying Nuclear Missile warheads were launched from different military Bases in Mi Federation, striking various key strategic bombing targets in Russia!
This also signaled that Mi Federation' counterattack against Russia had officially begun!
In fact, as early as when the dozen or so Nuclear Missiles launched under Apocalypse's control penetrated Mi Federation' airspace, Mi Federation had already entered war mode.
The reason these dozens of Nuclear Missiles only took off at this time was naturally because the launch of Nuclear Missiles also requires time.
The President announced the country was entering a state of war through a televised address.
Mi Federation once again entered into war decades after the end of World War II.
All kinds of radio waves and electromagnetic signals quickly spread all real-time information of the most powerful country on the surface of the Earth across the globe...
Mi Federation directly declared war, and Russia naturally could not back down.
Although in the short term, Russia had not yet found out who or which organization hijacked Russia's nuclear Base and launched Nuclear Missiles.
But Mi Federation would not wait for your explanation, nor would it give you a chance to explain. Even if it was a remote city, it was still a densely populated city. Several cities were instantly wiped off the Earth. If Mi Federation didn't retaliate frantically, wouldn't that be a huge joke?
What's more, would Russia care about the facts? Reality had already happened, and Mi Federation was Russia's mortal enemy, so Russia naturally followed suit and issued a national war mobilization.
As dozens of Nuclear Missiles from Mi Federation ascended, other nuclear Bases in Russia, having received orders from the true Russian leadership, also launched dozens of Nuclear Missiles towards Mi Federation...
When nearly a hundred Nuclear Missiles crisscrossed in space, heading towards their respective strategic targets in either Mi Federation or Russia...
All countries globally watching this change were stunned.
After being educated by nuclear experts, everyone understood what humanity would face after a nuclear war broke out.
The Earth, perhaps, would only enter a 'period of intense pain'.
To be honest, even if all the Nuclear Missiles from all countries exploded before Michael's transmigration, the Earth wouldn't have too big of a problem; it would just need to go through a 'recovery' phase for several hundred to a thousand years.
But for humanity, the consequences after all Nuclear Missiles exploded...
That would be extinction! Especially for those... non-nuclear countries, it would simply be... having no ability to retaliate.
Chaos erupted globally when the Nuclear Missiles from Russia and Mi Federation simultaneously ascended! Anyone who understood nuclear weapons went mad.
Even many who didn't understand...
But with the crowd going crazy, riots are also contagious!...
"Eh?"
"How did they show up?"
"Do they want to stop this nuclear war?"
"Heh heh."
"What a bunch of overly confident people!"
"Only now do they think of intervening?"
Suddenly, Michael's omnipresent divine sense detected numerous highly futuristic aircraft for this era taking off from the land of Africa.
