Slidin' Go walked up to the train station, patiently waiting for it's arrival. According to Skeptic, there were going to be villains riding the top, somehow bringing a tea set with them. So, it was his duty as the hero of the Meta Liberation Army to take these victims to their proper execution ground.
As a 'Pro' it was his duty to arrest these miscreants on sight, but as a proud member of the MLA, he had a higher calling than professional heroism. When the roars of war were cast out, there was no time to consider concepts such as 'right' and 'wrong'. These cretins, these absolute blights on the road to liberation needed to be made an example of.
"I still don't understand how you're able to drink without lifting up your mask." The Gecko man known as Spinner said as the League of Villains hopped off the train.
"Even for me that's a little strange, and I'm not just saying that because I live in hell." The horned kid chuckled lightly. "Then again, Clara would probably find a way to make it stranger. You'd probably get along with her, Toga. She thinks hitting people with sharp objects is fun too."
"Weird they tell us to come to something so public." The figure of undetermined gender looked over their fine city. "For a group that people have largely forgotten about, you'd think they'd like to keep the anonymity."
"Our anonymity works quite well." They all aimed their weapons at him as he raised his hands. "Hey now, take it easy, I'm just the tour guide today, not a pro hero." They looked at him strangely.
"And you're talking about it so openly because …?" The villain with the white face mask asked.
"Well you're already standing on the base of the Meta Liberation Army." That got them all frozen in place. "The entire city's population consists solely of our numbers, so there's no one around here that doesn't know what's going on."
"Good." The leader, Shigaraki, spoke without a hint of fear or hesitation. "It means no death will be worthless … no casualties to hit." Seems they were willing to go all in with this little all in. Admirable, if futile in the end.
"Aren't you a hero?" The school girl asked out loud as they started walking. "Last time I checked, quirk nazism wasn't something the public supported."
"I'm a MLA member first and a hero second. I save those of Deika city when trouble arises, but I try not to focus too much when it comes to the bigger matters." He shrugs. "I actually heard we got a new member recently, some bird guy named Hawks."
"Oh really? Good to know." The man held together by stitches snickered. "So that's the game you're playing, huh number two?" What was he on about?
"So is it just one guy in charge or are we dealing with a whole evil hierarchy system here?" The Stain rip off asked curiously.
"First off, it is hypocritical to call us evil, 'League of Villains'." He rolled his eyes. "Second, we have no rulers, we're all free to do as we please, united as one, following the will of our great founder, Destro!"
"Free as you please …" Shigaraki muttered curiously. Oh, was he interested? A bit late to switch sides but new members were always a plus. "Then why the hell did you pick a fight with us now of all times? If that's your goal, we would've left well enough alone."
"Quite simply, your small group has become too big." He answered. "A random assortment of rejects and nobodies suddenly appears out of nowhere and suddenly proclaims messages of freedom. If Meta Abilities are to be liberated, the beacon ushering the new age should be one that embodies liberation, not mindless destruction."
"Oh … I think I get it now." The horned one smacked a fist in their hand. Finally, someone has seen the light. "You all are jealous because we do your jobs better than you." Exact-come again? "Wow, and I thought that Kalego could be petty. This is just adorable. And pathetic. Adoretic if you will."
"Wow, you know it's bad when I find myself agreeing with the demon." Toga laughed. "I thought you were just like the Yakuza and wanted to use our name, but that's even more lame!"
"So none of you have any GOOD reason for your declaration of war." Shigiraki groaned, his hands twitching wildly. "Just know every life that's lost today is because every single one of you decided to be stupid."
"Sure sure." He shrugged at these cocky bastards. "And this is as far as I go." He stopped before a red line. "Cross this and you're officially in the kill zone, have fun." He waved before leaving them to their fate.
==
"So we just … cross it?" Magne asked out loud, not trusting the situation one single bit. The area looked like a ghost town, but that didn't mean for a second they thought it was safe.
"Seeing as that hero didn't arrest us on the spot, I guess there's some moral bullshit they all abide by." Spinner held his sword at hand. "So an entire city is their army … not liking the numerical disadvantage here."
"What does it matter if it's a lake or ocean of blood?" Toga argued. "I'll cut them all apart for threatening Iruma-kins." Ah, young love. So delusional and beautiful. Reminded Magne of a young time herself.
"And I thought the All Might worship was terrible, but these guys have such a hard on for this Destro guy." Kirio looked bemused by the situation. "What's the deal there?"
"What do you know about Quirk history … not the quirks themselves but the effect they had on society?" Compress asked.
"Well, considering current Demon knowledge still presumes that Humans are nothing but cattle to feast on, I assume when they appeared, it wasn't a pretty picture." One could say that.
"Well back then, Quirks caused chaos. Different people outcasted as mutant freaks and the like, called monsters and riots formed. A single woman stood up and risked her life to protect her son, calling his 'meta ability' a quirk of his. The government honored her as the mother of quirks, and doubled down on protection and restriction rights." Magne explained.
"So they used her name to gain control of a rising power. Wow, you humans can truly be twisted." That was bureaucracy for you. Even Demons thought it was twisted.
"But big old Destro thought they stomped on his mother's message, that since Meta Abilities were a part of a person they were meant to be used by the person, and created a terrorist group to fight against them. Wrote an autobiography in prison before he offed himself, which is still being sold now." Compress finished.
"A terrorist group barely anybody's heard about until now was founded by a man that was upset his mother was part of a restriction and protection on what he believed was a birthright, and when he failed he wrote how he failed before he offed himself?" That had the demon almost rolling on the streets.
"So complicated and pointless." Shigiraki rolled his eyes. "If this Destro truly believed in his cause, he wouldn't have taken the easy way out. Now he has a whole army of blind worshipers following his name out of pity."
"Eh, the death actually did him well." They all turned to Twice. "They thought that he was willing to die for his cause due to how his suicide was apparently part of a plan to smuggle his book out, so now whenever it's printed they add a bloody hand that was part of the original design he got leaked on, so the book itself is really popular in the dark web … or I could be fucking with you bitches!"
"Wouldn't be the first time I heard someone crazy say something smart." Kirio finished his laughter. "So our battle is with a deadman and his psychotic followers … let's go meet them." The group took one step forward over the line.
"Then it looks like we've arrived just in time!" Two figures appeared from out of nowhere, a man in a suit and a blue skinned woman with violet hair. "Today will mark a tremendous moment in history! The Resurrection Festival of the Meta Liberation Army, as well as the utter defeat of the infamous League of Villains!" Slowly but surely, more and more 'civilians' popped into the streets.
"Spinner, headcount?" Magne asked, cracking their neck.
"One two three … a shit ton. Why the hell would the answer be anything other than a shit ton?" He asked, holding his oversized sword.
"The number doesn't matter, the only one that does is their leader." Shigiraki waved his right hand at a group of people, disintegrating each one he touched into bloody dust.
"Eh, I wanted to make a joke about the five thousand on the right and five thousand on the left." They replied. "But I guess we'll just have to score for a headcount."
"So I'll be taking the girl Toga, come along now!" The blue woman waved to the confused school girl. "I want to interview you just like Suzuki!" This woman already sealed her fate. One of the most important rules of love was that you don't get between two maniacs.
"The bitch is mine!" Toga shouted, jumping across the walls and cutting anyone that got close, giving chase.
"And I shall take Spinner." The business man smirked. "I feel you're weak enough that killing you wouldn't be a problem."
"Alright, I'm chopping off that asshole's head." Spinner growled. Wow, that sentence was probably filled with the most determination they've heard from him.
"Don't get too ahead of yourself." Dabi rolled his eyes, turning his victims to ash. "I'll just char our way through…" His hands were blasted by a wave of ice.
"Oh, you'll be dealing with him actually." The businessman pointed at a figure with an oversized winter coat. "Our strongest Meta Ability user, Geten."
"Wow, seriously?" The hooded figure asked. "I was prepared to take on everyone but anyone that had dibs and you stick me with the one guy I can dominate? I'm completely disappointed." The figure spoke up as he began forming a hydra out of ice .
"Hm, now I'm conflicted." Kirio wondered out loud curiously. "I know I should help you guys out, but at the same time this provides several opportunities to see despair on all my friends' faces…"
"Kirio, if you don't shut the hell up and help us, you'll be the next to die." For a second, Magne thought Tomura is the inhuman monster of the group.
"A bit of a turn on … but I have a goal in mind." The demon shrugged. "I'll stick with Spinner, weak numbers are my specialty after all."
"At least I don't go down after a single hit to the face." Spinner grumbled.
"Fuck you too, crazy weapon." The two went off, running after the suit as they fought off an army.
"So who does that leave us with, or is it just beating goons straight through?" Magne asked as she sent a few people crashing into a wall effortlessly.
"We keep the numbers off of Tomura! Let them crush him to paste! I'll make sure to keep the numbers up! The moment your back is turned, I'm running!"

Curious smiled as the girl followed, cutting up some members along the way. After making sure she was a good enough distance, she stopped. "Oh, I haven't properly introduced myself. Chitose Kizuki, nice to meet my next big scoop in person."
"I'm not a fan of interviews, I prefer sharing my personal life with people I can love." The deranged school girl slit throat after throat practically on instinct. "So you're the one who wrote all that stuff on Iruma-kins?"
"Of course I did, I knew a good story as soon as I tried to just get a lick of information from UA." She smirked. "That stepford smile that held such a broken child behind it, all the agony and despair … and then he turns out to be part of a conspiracy spanning meta abilities themselves … oh it made my panties wet."
"Don't you dare lay a single dirty finger on him!" Toga charged right at her ready to plunge a knife right into her chest.
She simply snapped her fingers, causing the girl to scream in agony. "Of course not … not yet at least, you're my story at the moment." She smiled. "So tell me, your quirk, it needs blood right? Your throat ever feel tingly when you never get it?"
"Oh yeah, I'm feeling the urge right now." The suction device she wore around her waist suddenly sent dozens of syringes into her comrades.
She once more snapped her fingers, the glass shards from Toga's suction device being sent into the poor girl's gut. "And that little desire, it drives you wild. You can't help but use your quirk, but the government labels you a freak for simply being yourself."
"Stop acting like you know who I am..." The girl struggled to keep herself up.
Curious tossed some photos to the girl. "I've got pictures on your house … on the boy you nearly killed … I make sure I'm the most intimate I can be with my scoops … you've even drunk my blood."
With that, more and more explosions went off from the inside. "Of course … only a bitch like you could make sucking blood a crime."
"I know, such a shame. Your quirk makes you associate feelings of love, admiration, and beauty, feeling common to everyone, with blood, which makes it uncommon and unacceptable to the rest of the world." The perfect tragic tale to push their cause forward.
"And what about you bitch?" She blinked in confusion. "You keep telling me my quirk makes me act like this and that … What the hell does exploding blood have to do with your personality?" Toga asked with a glare.
"It's not my blood, I can make whatever I touch explode." She set off a little rubble on the ground, forcing the girl back. "It's not too strong, but multiple explosions more than make up for it." She giggled. "Big and loud, it drives me to set the world I live in on fire in any way I can. And my stories are going to blow up and shake this entire society."
"Of course, anarchist and all that." Toga growled, standing up. "So everything is just a story you want to blow up the world with?"
"Yes, and you will be the second best story … right after Suzuki." Curious smiled. "Gonna be a shame to blow the kid to bits, but all good things must come to an end." She laughed a little more. "Not that you'd mind probably, you'd probably revel in seeing the walls painted in his blood."
Toga stared at her quietly. No lower screams, no sudden moves, just a quiet watch. "We're going to kill you."
"Wow, I drove you mad with that little damage didn't I?" She giggled. "You're all alone, you know that right?"
"He's changed so many lives … made so many people happy … accepted them all." The girl pulled out multiple vials of blood, ripping the corks off them. "I won't…let you…kill the only one….in this FUCKING world…that's capable of loving me!" And gulped them down. But she wasn't worried, the girl could only copy one at a time. Even if she turned invisible it wouldn't be that hard to- "Agh … grr … ahhh."
Curious blinked as the girl's skin melted and formed over. Her face and hair changed rapidly, as if looking at a kaleidoscope. The body flickered as if deciding it should exist or not. "Boss … a thought occurs." One goon spoke up. "We have been goading on a girl associated with a boy, in a class that happens to have a habit of quirk awakenings."
"That's going into conspiracy theory territory, and I got lucky stumbling into a real life one. I highly doubt that…'' The body, Toga as a whole, suddenly disappeared. Before she could question it, her comrades started flying into the air one after another.
"Oh you silly bitch." The girl flickered in front of her, a deranged grin. "You hurt my- Threatened my friend … I'm not gonna let you off that easily." A simple tap had her fall to the ground. "Can you feel it?" The girl asked, kicking her back. "The pain you cause by talking!?"
"You got…stronger…your love for Iruma Suzuki…forced you into an awakening…" She had trouble describing her awe, half from astonishment, half from being beaten senseless.
"You're still focused on your fucking story aren't you?" The bleeding girl asked, a wicked grin on her face. "Well don't worry … I'm going to make sure you get a story as you bled out. From everyone that loves him."
The girl transformed and went invisible again, and hit Curious across the face. "He sees who you are on the inside, the outside doesn't matter."
Her next vision was of her ally Twice. "No matter what problems we have, he's always there to lend an ear and a hand." Curious felt a kick to her stomach.
The next form was Tomura Shigaraki. "Hero, villain, it doesn't matter what side we're on. We're all people, we're all equal in his eyes." She felt her arms begin to wither and rot. "There's no one he won't be willing to reach out his hand to."
It ended with the girl known as Ochako Uraraka. "And he will stick his neck out for you no matter the cost." A simple touch of fingers sent her men crashing into the ground, blood splattering.
Himiko Toga returned. "So now it's our turn to help him." These were the last words Curious heard as her windpipe was shattered.

Spinner ran with Kirio as they cut up and blocked villain after villain. "Why the hell are they so strong?" The demon asked. "I know it's a city of villains but they seem to be a bit above the average power for physical might."
"We're not called an army for nothing!" A random guy with drill feet said.
"No, he has a point." Spinner said, kicking the man through a wall. "I saw a man with a window cleaner quirk punch a perfectly cut circle into a wall that sent me flying."
"Every single day of our lives has been dedicated to living by every word of Destro to the fullest!" The business suit guy yelled from the vehicle he rode to watch the fight as a spectator. "We're not bound by the laws of the government, most of us have practiced and trained our quirks to their peak since near birth!"
"Odd." His partner spoke randomly. "I'm sensing an increase in energy whenever he talks. His quirk might have something to do with it."
"It's my quirk, the power to rally others." The man grinned. "For I am Trumpet."
The two stood in silence, Kirio making a large barrier as they turned to each other. "What is with villains and terrible names?" The demon asked him.
"Hey, it doesn't include all of us!"
"We're called the League of Villains, you sound like the name of a toy top, Muscular literally describes any random jock, and Mustard is literally a condiment!"
"Yes, but let me make a counterpoint." Spinner stated. "I am Spinner, who spins dreams of others together because I don't have my own."
"You see men!" The suit shouted. "You fight a man who has no ambition, that alone should show us our superiority!"
He signaled Kirio to drop the shield to let him have his swing. "So what if I don't have ambition!? So what if I don't have big plans or ideas about the future!? How the fuck does that make me any different than you!?"
"How dare you imply we're anything alike!?" Trumpet looked like someone blew up his mother's grave. "We live by the will of Destro, by the ideals of freedom and Liberation!"
"You listen to some hundred year old book of a dead man who couldn't even follow through on his own dream! You don't live for yourselves, you all just go along with a trend, just like I did before I met Tomura Shigaraki!" He slashed his blade across a few chests, sending them into the ground. "And now I have a leader, a friend who I will support because I know he CAN change the world!" A single man broke his blade … as he grabbed two shards and swung them, cutting off the head of two enemies. "So keep coming at me with your borrowed dream, and the delusional idea it can even scratch my borrowed dream!"
The looks everyone gave him were beyond murderous by this point. If they were gods, he would've been struck dead into oblivion a hundred times over. But he's met a Devil, and in all honesty … These guys seem pathetic by comparison. "Wow, never would I have thought a tool could be fun." Kirio laughed. "This will be more entertaining than I thought."
"Yeah, yeah, I'm a tool." Spinner rolled his eyes. "If it helps Tomura though, then I don't mind."
"No, I'm being sincere. You are legitimately fascinating, Spinner. You're accepting of it, embracing it, and not constantly in denial like Asmodeus." The demon smiled. "For that, no more sass. Let's mess up this instrument until it can't even play its own funeral tune."
"Now that's music to my ears." Getting along with a demon, wasn't that something? He didn't need to have a dream, he's practically living one already.

Hawks could do nothing but smirk. "So, how long are you going to ride this out?" A twitching Rumi asked.
"Until the kid graduates college." He responded. "Or should I say kit, it's just a d and t mixed up." He gave his own laugh. "You actually chose to go for long term attachment. Gotta say, it's about time."
"Yeah, yeah, I'm a mom, now you can shut up about it." Rumi rolled her eyes. "It was either that or let him sit in the system as his bastard parents rot in a cell for the rest of their lives."
"Yeah, that would suck." He shrugged, the woman giving him a look.
"Oh yeah … you were in the system yourself." She muttered. "As bad as everyone makes it?"
"Sometimes it was a little better, sometimes it was a little worse." He shrugged, not too keen on digging up old memories. "But in the end, there was always a feeling you were there because no one else wanted you around." Well he was wanted, it was just by the commission instead of a family. "You did good, Rumi. The kid's life will be much happier with you in it."
"Thanks." She grinned. "I'll make sure to get you a gift other than fruitcake." Oh, she must be generous today. "So how's your current investigation going?"
His 'investigation' with the League of Evil and Meta Liberation Army. Most of the top ten were aware of the first, and only the commission knew about the latter. There was only so much he could say at any given time. The communication and surveillance the MLA had on him was frightening.
"Could be better, could be worse. I keep running into Slidn' Go from time to time." A pro that was a MLA fanatic, and was able to hide it behind an eerie chipper demeanor. Freaked him out how easily he was able to slip back and forth. Almost as easy as he was able to.
"We actually share the same birthday, believe it or not." Rumi pointed out. "Kind of a buzzkill when he drinks. Keeps talking about oppression and freedom, all that political bullshit."
"Oh, that's a contact now." He checked the message. Nothing major, a simple 'League is battling Army' . Nothing he could- "What the actual fuck!?"
"What, did that Dabi guy confess feelings?" Rumi smirked, filled with innocence and ignorance of a war currently in the making.
"Yeah, he said we should go on a double date with you and Toshi. Might be a fun night to get you two bunnies together." He joked right back, shutting off his phone immediately.
"Don't you feed that fire. It's already awkward with everyone saying my Kit's his secret love child. Last thing I need right now of all times is for those rumors to get out of hand."
"Because you got into an argument with another lady that got posted online." That was definitely the highlight of the week that day. "So, since you're a proud Mama Bunny now, gonna take your kit for the internships again?"
"Oh yeah, I'm gonna go in strong and double team!" She grinned. "A bit of mother-son bonding. You're gonna take your bird boy back into the field?"
"Birds of a feather flock together." He smirked. If what the commission had planned for 1-A was going to come into fruition, then he needed to prepare the next generation for the incoming storm.
