In Marineford, a massive battle was raging between the Whitebeard Pirates and the Marines. Large, thick walls had suddenly risen from beneath the sea, encircling the battlefield. Not only were these walls extremely thick and seemingly made of Seastone, but embedded and hidden throughout were multiple cannons, all aimed directly at the Whitebeard Pirates. They were trapped inside like turtles in a jar.
Although one escape route remained, the opening was far too small for them to retreat properly and continue fighting.
Furthermore, Admiral Akainu had already unleashed his "Meteor Volcano," putting them under even greater pressure. The ice floor, formed by Aokiji's "Ice Age," began melting under the relentless rain of magma. Steam hissed into the air, and deep cracks spread across the frozen battlefield. Many Whitebeard Pirates lost their footing and sank into the freezing water below.
The situation for the Whitebeard Pirates looked dire. If things continued, they would be destroyed soon.
Following that initial struggle and the intense pressure from Akainu's assault, a strange calm suddenly settled over all of Marineford.
The cannons fell silent. The crashing waves seemed to quiet. Even the screams and clashes that had filled the air moments ago faded for an instant.
Clearly, this was the calm before the storm. The Whitebeard Pirates had endured until now, but from this point on, they would give everything they had. They would fight with desperation.
In this brief, eerie silence, a voice reverberated throughout Marineford:
"Throughout heaven and earth, I alone am the honored one."
As soon as the voice rang out, Kizaru immediately recognized it. It belonged to Gojo Satoru—the same man who had escaped from him at the Sabaody Archipelago after killing the Celestial Dragon, Saint Jalmack.
Kizaru turned his head in the direction of the voice. The Whitebeard Pirates and the Marines followed suit, their eyes shifting upward in unison.
There, floating in the sky, was Gojo.
A smile rested casually on his face, as if he had not just appeared in the middle of one of the greatest wars of the era. His sky-blue eyes looked perfectly serene against the chaotic backdrop of Marineford—smoke rising into the air, magma burning across the battlefield, and seawater crashing against shattered ice.
For a brief moment, the battlefield went quiet again. Then, Gojo slowly extended his hand forward. He exhaled softly and said in a low voice:
"Limitless: Blue… Limitless Reversal: Red… Combined: Hollow Purple."
As soon as the words left his lips, a giant purple sphere formed directly in front of him.
The moment it appeared, the surrounding air seemed to distort. The orb was enormous—far larger than expected—and pulsated with raw destruction. Purple energy swirled violently around its surface, and faint distortions spread outward. Even from a distance, the marines and pirates alike felt their instincts screaming at them.
The massive "Hollow Purple" moved. It did not explode; it simply advanced.
At a terrifying speed, the giant orb crossed the battlefield and struck the left side of Marineford. The impact was silent at first, then everything in its path vanished. The encircling walls that had trapped the Whitebeard Pirates were destroyed instantly. The enormous Seastone barriers, which had looked impossible to break, were erased as if they had never existed. Debris, shattered stone, and seawater erupted into the sky.
But it did not stop there.
Doflamingo happened to be directly in its path. The moment he felt the aura radiating from the attack, his expression shifted. He felt genuine dread. His instincts told him clearly that if he tried to take the attack head-on or attempted to stop it, the results would be catastrophic. At the very least, he would be severely injured; in the worst-case scenario, he might die.
Doflamingo clicked his tongue and stepped aside. He watched as the Hollow Purple tore through everything in its way, eventually hitting the right side of the Marineford as well. The massive force erased another section of the barrier, sending stone and seawater exploding upward.
Now, the Whitebeard Pirates, who had been completely encircled, suddenly had two more escape routes. The openings were narrow compared to the overall battlefield, but they were large enough for their ships to pass through.
This was no accident. Gojo had deliberately created these gaps to give the Whitebeard Pirates a chance to retreat.
After releasing the technique, Gojo, who had been floating in the sky, suddenly vanished.
No movement. No warning.
One moment he was there; the next, he appeared directly below the execution platform where Ace was being held. The executioners stood nearby, weapons drawn, waiting only for the final command. Gojo floated calmly, as if appearing in the center of Marineford's highest-security zone were the most natural thing in the world.
Elsewhere on the battlefield, Buggy and his escaped Impel Down inmates were present. Just as Buggy had convinced the Visual Den Den Mushi to resume live broadcast, the destruction caused by Gojo's Hollow Purple caught their attention. One of the prisoners shouted, "Captain Buggy, look there!" pointing toward the execution platform.
Buggy turned, his eyes widening. "What the hell is he doing here?!" How can he forget this face.
The live broadcast, which had previously been cut by the Marines, had resumed, and the Visual Den Den Mushi's eyes were now focused directly on Gojo. Across countless islands, people watching the broadcast stared at their screens. Some were confused as they looked at Gojo who have appeared suddenly, but others recognized him instantly. The atmosphere grew heavy.
Sengoku looked down at Gojo. His expression darkened, and he shouted, "It is good that you arrived on your own; you saved me the trouble of hunting you down!"
His voice echoed throughout Marineford. "Today, not only will the son of the Pirate King be executed, but you—who committed the grave sin of killing a Celestial Dragon—will also meet your end."
Gojo was not bothered in the slightest. His expression remained unchanged as he gave a slight shrug. "I came here today for two things," he said, raising two fingers. "First, as you can see, I am here to disrupt this execution."
His calm voice carried across the battlefield. "You organized this because you want to show the world the power of the World Government, which has appeared weak ever since I executed a Celestial Dragon. So, I am going to prevent the execution of Portgas D. Ace… and I will prevent you from achieving your goals."
Sengoku prepared to attack, his presence surging with power. But before he could move, Gojo raised a finger. "Wait a minute. I haven't finished."
His tone remained relaxed, as if he were having a casual conversation. "You will definitely want to hear the second part. It is very important for the safety of your so-called masters—the Celestial Dragons."
Sengoku hesitated. If what Gojo had to say was truly related to the safety of the Celestial Dragons, he could not risk acting prematurely. He restrained himself, waiting to hear the rest.
Gojo turned his head and looked directly into the Visual Den Den Mushi. He had already identified its location—his "Six Eyes" saw far more than normal Observation Haki. The camera adjusted to focus entirely on him.
At this moment, the entire world was watching. Gojo spoke:
"You fat pigs."
The battlefield went silent.
"Yes, you—the Celestial Dragons who call yourselves gods." Even the Marines looked stunned after hearing Gojo call the Celestial Dragons "pigs," but it wasn't surprising; if Gojo could kill a Celestial Dragon, then mere name-calling was nothing in comparison.
Gojo continued without hesitation: "Listen well. I came here to warn you."
He raised one finger. "If a single hair on the heads of the people I care about is harmed, I swear I will start assassinating you. I will organize daily, public executions of you pigs."
Gojo tilted his head. "Got it?"
Nobody dared to interrupt him. He looked at the Visual Den Den Mushi, his gaze fixed upon it, as if he were staring directly at everyone watching worldwide.
"And to all the people of the world," he said, his voice lightening, "I only have one message." A faint smile returned to his face. "If I can kill these pigs, then all of you can, too."
He spread his hands. "These pigs are not gods. They are just pathetic weaklings. They can be killed easily—just like bothering a pig. I am telling with experience."
His sky-blue eyes remained perfectly calm. "So, if you ever get the chance to kill them, just do it. Do not let them humiliate you. Do not let them ride over your heads."
Gojo lowered his hand. "That is all I have to say."
