Gojo nodded, and immediately Oimo was the first one to strike at him with his massive wooden club pinned with iron barbs. The giant weapon moved at extreme speed, displacing the air around it and creating a loud whistling sound as it descended.
Gojo was not to be outdone.
He tightened his grip on his sword, his fingers firm around the hilt as armament haki flowed over the blade in an invisible coating. In the next instant, he disappeared from his location.
A blur.
He appeared directly below Oimo's giant club while it was still moving downward at terrifying speed and swung his sword in one clean, precise motion.
The giant club was cut in half.
The severed portion split apart cleanly through the middle, the broken wood and iron barbs scattering outward. But Gojo did not even wait for the upper half to fall.
His speed was simply too fast.
The next moment, he was already standing above the remaining half of the club that was still held in Oimo's hand, balanced effortlessly as the giant stared at him in shock.
A cold wind brushed past him.
Gojo focused on his sword and thought to himself, Finally... I am going to use the advanced application of armament haki for the first time.
After that thought, Gojo concentrated even more armament haki onto his sword. The armament coating around the blade became denser, heavier, almost seeming to distort the air around it. Then he swung his sword forcefully.
A flying sword slash shot forward.
But this was not a normal flying sword slash, which was generally nothing more than a wind blade created from a swordsman's powerful swing. This slash was different.
This flying sword slash contained the advanced application of armament haki—external emission.
The slash itself was coated in armament haki, solidifying its strength and making it vastly more destructive. Even the air around the slash trembled slightly as it tore through the battlefield, carrying enough force to split apart almost anything in its path.
This could be said to be Gojo's most powerful sword attack when he was not using his Limitless, relying purely on his swordsmanship and haki alone.
This flying sword slash was extremely fast and immediately hit Oimo.
Oimo had nowhere to hide and no way to dodge. His speed was nowhere near Gojo's in the first place, and secondly, he was a giant. His body was simply too massive, too large of a target for Gojo's flying sword slash to ever miss.
The slash struck him horizontally across the shoulder area.
From one shoulder to the other, just below the neck, a thin line of blood appeared. A moment later, blood slowly started flowing from that line. Although blood was flowing, it was not much, as the wound was not very deep. Still, it was definitely a wound.
A wound inflicted by Gojo.
Oimo's eyes widened slightly as he felt the sharp pain spread across his shoulders. It cut me...
Then the force behind the flying sword slash fully exploded into him.
Oimo was sent tumbling backwards, his giant body crashing through the air before colliding heavily against the wall of the front gate. The impact was so powerful that the ground trembled slightly.
Cracks immediately spread across the massive wall behind him.
Dust and broken stone scattered everywhere as Oimo's huge body remained pressed against the front gate for a moment.
Kashii, as soon as he saw Oimo getting injured, did not hesitate for even a second.
With anger visible on his face, he swung his giant axe directly towards Gojo.
The massive axe cut through the air with terrifying force, creating a loud roar as it descended.
Gojo was already ready for Kashii's attack.
The giant axe reached him in the next instant—
But it did not hit him.
It stopped.
Kashii's axe had struck the Limitless between Gojo and the surrounding area. No matter how much force Kashii put behind the attack, his axe was never able to truly reach Gojo.
Gojo remained floating calmly in the sky, not displaced even an inch.
His white hair fluttered lightly from the wind pressure created by the axe, but his body itself did not move at all.
He simply stood there calmly, looking at Kashii, while it seemed as if all the force behind Kashii's attack had nowhere to go and had simply disappeared into some endless infinity.
Gojo took advantage of Kashii's attack.
Moving slightly away from the edge of the giant axe, he instantly appeared slightly above Kashii's face level.
Then, once again using the external emission application of armament haki, Gojo swung his sword and released another powerful flying sword slash towards Kashii.
This time, however, Gojo was holding the hilt of his sword with both hands.
Because of that, the strength behind this flying sword slash was even greater than the one that had hit Oimo.
The slash tore through the air with a loud, sharp sound and immediately reached Kashii.
Kashii reacted quickly and immediately raised his giant axe in front of himself to defend.
But even then, he was still pushed backwards.
The impact was so powerful that Kashii's feet dug into the ground for a brief moment before his giant body was forced back. On his left shoulder and across the forearm with which he was holding the axe, slight red lines appeared.
Those thin red lines were enough to clearly show that the flying sword slash had struck him there.
Just like Oimo, Kashii was also sent tumbling backwards.
His massive body crashed heavily into the wall, causing even more cracks to spread through it as pieces of stone broke away and fell.
For a few moments, dust filled the air around both giants.
After injuring both Oimo and Kashii, Gojo calmly sheathed his sword back onto his back.
The sharp sound of the blade sliding back into its sheath echoed lightly.
Seeing this, Oimo and Kashii slowly pushed themselves up while supporting their giant bodies against the cracked wall behind them.
As they stood up, Gojo looked at them calmly and said, "You lost the challenge. Now I hope that you will fulfill your promise."
Oimo and Kashii looked at each other.
Both of them knew that Gojo was telling the truth.
He had challenged them before, and he had injured both of them within one minute. Technically, they had lost the bet.
And according to the challenge that they had agreed to earlier, they could no longer stop Gojo.
Neither could they stop Gojo's friends when they arrived later.
So both Oimo and Kashii nodded and said, "We are warriors, and we will honor our words. We lost to you, and that is a fact, so we will not interfere with you, and neither will we interfere with or stop your friends."
Gojo nodded after hearing Oimo's and Kashii's words.
Then he asked the most important question for him.
"Do you know where someone named Spandam is?"
As soon as Oimo and Kashii heard this, they immediately understood that Gojo must have some sort of grudge against Spandam.
But they were not especially loyal to the World Government.
To them, a promise was more important.
So they did not hide the information and directly answered, "He is the commander of this Enies Lobby, and he generally stays in the Tower of Justice, which is in the far rear of this whole island."
Gojo nodded once again after hearing this.
Soon, he floated upwards into the air and flew away from there.
As Gojo moved through the sky toward the rear building where Spandam should be, he could see fighting taking place below.
Luffy was battling against the Marines.
Several Marines also spotted Gojo flying above them. Some of them pointed towards him, while others shouted in alarm.
Many Marines spotted Gojo as he flew across the island. Once again, they uselessly tried to fire at him.
Bullets, cannon fire, and even thrown weapons came towards him from below.
But all of them stopped before reaching him.
Gojo's Limitless halted every bullet and every object that came near him, leaving them suspended in the air for a brief moment before they dropped harmlessly to the ground.
Gojo did not even bother looking at them.
He did not go down to help Luffy.
He did not have to.
Luffy was capable enough and strong enough to handle the Marines by himself.
And besides, their goals were not the same.
Gojo had already done more than enough for the Straw Hats by defeating the two giants and binding them in a warrior's promise that they would not attack the Straw Hats when they arrived.
That was already the greatest favor he could do for them.
His own target was Spandam.
And if he killed Spandam, then he would be killing the commander of the entire island.
That alone would definitely give the Straw Hats a much better chance to save Robin. And with the kind of luck Luffy has, it should not be that difficult for him to bring Robin back.
As that thought crossed his mind, Gojo's speed increased even further, the wind rushing past him as he flew directly toward the Tower of Justice.
Soon, he arrived in front of the Courthouse.
The building was large, heavily guarded, and filled with activity. Marines stood near the entrances, while others moved in and out of the building. There were clearly many people inside.
So, most likely, either Spandam himself was here, or at least one of his deputies who could tell Gojo where Spandam actually was.
Gojo calmly stepped inside the Courthouse.
The moment he entered, multiple Marines and CP agents immediately spotted him.
By now, everyone already knew that there was more than one intruder on the island.
Not only Monkey D. Luffy—
But also Gojo Satoru.
Luffy's name was already quite famous, but Gojo's name was even more infamous among the Marines.
Inside Marine circles, it was a well-known fact that Gojo had already defeated two Warlords—Jinbe and Crocodile—and had thoroughly overwhelmed both of them.
Because of that, Gojo appearing on Enies Lobby was definitely alarming.
The Marines and CP agents reacted immediately.
Those with guns started firing.
Those with swords, knives, and other weapons rushed towards Gojo in an attempt to stop him.
But for Gojo, they were nothing.
With his overwhelming speed, he simply passed through them.
His movements were so fast that most of them could not even properly see him.
He moved like a blur through the hallways of the Courthouse, casually swinging his sword whenever someone got in his way.
To Gojo, those swings seemed casual.
But for the Marines and CP agents, those swings were impossibly fast and overwhelmingly powerful slashes.
One after another, Marines collapsed to the ground.
Some were thrown back into walls. Others had their weapons shattered before they could even react.
Gojo did not stop moving even once.
These Marines were absolutely no challenge for him.
Soon, he reached a large hall area.
There, he saw a giant figure with three heads.
At first glance, it looked like a single giant person with three heads.
But with his Observation Haki, Gojo could immediately tell the truth.
These were not three heads belonging to one person.
There were actually three different people hidden beneath the same cloth.
Seeing Gojo rampaging through the Courthouse and killing Marines and CP agents as if they were nothing, Baskerville immediately ordered the Guilty Jury to attack Gojo and capture him.
