Chapter 447 - Chapter 447: The Avenging Supergirl

Chapter 447: The Avenging Supergirl

Escape from the Kryptonian Ship

"Do you have a way or not?" Lex Luthor badgered.

"Nod if you do, shake your head if you don't, so I can at least brace myself for death."

"You are so frustrating, so hesitant, with no decisiveness whatsoever!"

"I already told you, your alien kin have run out of patience. Delaying now is just waiting to die! Why don't you understand?"

Lex Luthor was nonstop, alternating between cursing and pleading like a verbose, naked rat. Clark's head was pounding. He could only say,

"I'll send you back first."

Before he came, the Fortress of Solitude's AI butler had informed him that the warship Zod and his group were using was a creation of the House of El. The core programming was even handled by his father personally. As long as Clark revealed his identity, he could gain partial control.

"How should I do it?"

"Perhaps this will work."

Clark took a crystal shard from his belt and placed it on the floor. The information stream released by the shard connected with the ship's control center. Soon, a holographic image appeared in the cell.

Information matching... Detecting genetic code... Identity confirmed: Kal-El, member of the House of El, son of Jor-El.

"Hello, Kal-El. How may I assist you?"

Clark took a small breath and pointed first at Luthor, then at himself.

"Take us to the escape pods. Do not let anyone detect us."

"Please follow me."

The barrier opened, and the hologram led the way. Clark and Lex Luthor followed closely.

Following a path clear of surveillance, they reached the escape pod area. As the hatch opened, an alarm immediately blared. Lex Luthor didn't dare hesitate and quickly scrambled inside.

The escape pod launched from the warship and plummeted toward Earth. Clark followed close behind. As the Sun's rays shone upon his body, he transformed back into the all-powerful Superman.

In the main control room, H'el stood before the moon-window, quietly watching the scene.

"From this moment on, you are my enemy."

Zod's Fury and Supergirl's Return

Kryptonian information technology far surpassed Earth's. The moment Clark Kent's name was entered into the main computer by Faora, all information related to him instantly surfaced.

In a farm somewhere in Smallville, Kansas.

Martha Kent, who was tidying the yard, looked up. A black spaceship was rapidly descending from the bright blue sky.

The ship landed, and the hatch opened. A burly, middle-aged man in black armor emerged, followed by a man and a woman. The man was over two meters tall and inhumanly strong; the woman was short but had eyes filled with killing intent.

Martha was frantic.

"Who are you? Why..."

Faora flew over, clamped her hand around Martha's neck, and lifted her high.

"Where is the Codex?"

"Speak!"

The furious roar terrified Martha, and she involuntarily looked toward the barn. Faora tossed her aside and flew into the barn's basement. She pulled back the dusty tarp, revealing a single-person shuttle.

"It is here, as expected!"

Faora was ecstatic. She forcefully pried the shuttle open, but seeing the empty interior, she couldn't hide her disappointment. She rushed out of the barn and went to Zod.

"It is not inside."

Agh!

Zod bellowed, grabbing a car and hurling it at the farmhouse. With a cracking sound, the house was crushed into ruins by the weight of the vehicle.

"Kill her!"

The anger accumulated over days morphed into icy killing intent. Faora drew a knife and was about to strike when a fierce whistling sound reached her ears. A streak of light from a punch tore through the cornfield, hitting her and sending her flying. She rolled dozens of meters before landing in the wreckage of the garage.

"Two years later, and you are still just as shameless."

A figure flew in at extreme speed. It was Linda (Kara), but she looked different: she wore a dark blue, form-fitting battle suit and a protective headpiece that obscured most of her face.

"We meet again, Zod."

"Kara?"

Zod looked around. "Why are you alone? Where is the Earthling named Lex Luthor?"

"He doesn't have the time to play with you. I'm enough on my own."

With that, the girl surged forward. Mid-air, she threw a punch.

The sound of a tiger's roar erupted.

The light of the punch struck Zod, sending him flying several hundred meters.

"General!"

Edwin's face changed slightly. He charged forward. At the same time, the garage exploded, and Faora flew up, launching an attack alongside him.

The Avenger's Assault

Facing two opponents, Linda didn't back down. Instead, her fighting spirit soared. Two years ago, she had been captured by Zod due to her carelessness (or rather, her foolishness) and used to threaten Luke Shaw. Though she eventually survived unharmed, the experience had left a deep mark on her.

She was never one to forgive easily. If someone bullied her, she would fight back. Her year of rigorous training was all for this moment.

The fire of vengeance burned fiercely. The girl changed her fists to palms. Energy overflowed from her body, forming layer after layer of a swirling aura on her skin.

Ancient Fist Technique - Plum Blossom Dispersing Hand!

Before Edwin could even get close, he felt a strange suction force, pulling him involuntarily forward. He was confused but didn't overthink it, choosing to attack with the momentum. Unexpectedly, the moment he raised his fist, the suction vanished, replaced by a terrifying repulsive force.

Bang!

He was struck heavily in the chest, the pain making his face go pale.

Faora, next to him, suffered the same fate. The swirling aura on Linda's body could change its force at will with her hand gestures, switching seamlessly between attraction and repulsion.

"You are too weak!"

The girl roared, her floating palms creating a dense flurry of shadows. To Edwin's horror, one palm struck him squarely in the chest.

Crack!

The black armor shattered. The force of the palm continued unabated, penetrating his internal organs and exiting through his back, leaving a hundred-meter-long corridor of disturbed air.

Pfft!

Edwin spat out a mouthful of clotted blood, his eyes wide with shock and disbelief. His knees slowly gave way, and he fell to the ground, his condition unknown.

How is that possible?

Faora's eyes widened. She couldn't believe it. Edwin was a Kryptonian soldier who had undergone the most intense training, participated in dozens of battles, and had the added boost of the yellow sun. Such an individual was defeated by a single palm strike.

Linda let out a slow breath and turned her gaze to the right.

"You're next."

Her figure darted forward, kicking up a huge cloud of dust. A large cyclone of swirling wind appeared, filled with countless palm shadows—so dense it was impossible to discern the real from the fake.

Faora had never encountered this style of attack. Sensing danger, she opted to leap high into the air, avoiding the direct impact of the torrent. Suddenly, a tiger's roar exploded next to her ear. A punch, a streak of light, pierced the air and rapidly grew in front of her eyes.

Boom!

The shockwave radiated from above, accompanied by a fierce gale. The corn in the surrounding hundreds of meters was flattened.

Faora, like a kite with its string cut, plummeted into the cornfield. Her condition was worse than Edwin's. Her helmet had been shattered by the punch, forcing her head to be exposed to the Earth's atmosphere. The torrent of countless pieces of information that her super-senses were receiving instantly overwhelmed and knocked her unconscious.

Aware of Faora's state, Linda turned to face Zod, her eyes fixed on him.

"You're next, General!"

Zod: "..."
