Chapter 31 - chapter 5 verify vs zoro and luffy and village chef

Screen 1: 1 Day Left (24 Hours)

The village chef has built an Iron Golem. Zoro and Luffy are ready. Zoro, knowing what happened to the other village, does not trust the situation. He presses a block against Verity to trap her.

"Luffy, you were right. We are both leaving; you know that now."

Verity responds, "I know where you're going."

Moments later, she adds, "Zoro, Luffy, and Chef—you are mine."

Zoro shouts, "This entire situation is dangerous!"

They both attempt to leave.

Screen 2: The Terror Awakens

Night falls. The Chef, Zoro, and Luffy light their torches, searching the shadows. Suddenly, a massive, 12-foot-tall monstrous version of Verity towers over them, her digital eyes glowing with a malevolent, jagged light.

The village Iron Golem lunges forward, attempting to defend its creators, but it is no match. With a single, fluid motion, the Verity-monster swipes a massive, glitching hand through the air. The strike is precise and brutal; she decapitates the Iron Golem with a sickening crunch of metal. Its iron head clatters to the ground, rolling into the dirt as the creature's heavy body collapses into a pile of useless scrap.

The monster turns its gaze toward the trio, its smile stretching wider than ever, glitching with static as it prepares to strike again.

Screen 3: The Endless Swarm

Zoro lunges forward, his blades screaming as he unleashes his strongest technique.

"Santoryu... Oni Giri!"

He strikes with the force of a hurricane, his swords slicing through the 12-foot monster's chest. The creature erupts into a shower of purple sparks and digital static, dissolving into the night air. Zoro lands on one knee, breathing hard, his swords crossed in front of him.

"One down," he grunts.

But the silence is short-lived. A haunting, distorted laugh echoes from every direction at once. Suddenly, three more monsters—each larger and more twisted than the last—tear through the fabric of the sky, their jagged forms flickering into reality.

Verity's voice resonates, not from one place, but from the darkness itself: "You truly thought a blade could end me? My data is infinite. My forms are endless."

Before Zoro can even pivot to defend, a monster teleports directly behind him. It lunges with a massive, clawed hand, pinning Zoro against a tree. Another monster blinks into existence right in front of him, its face a mess of shifting pixels, preparing to strike.

Zoro struggles, his katanas locked against the claws of the first beast, while the second monster prepares to deliver a blow that could tear right through his guard.

"Luffy!" Zoro shouts, his voice strained as he fights the crushing weight. "This isn't a fight—it's a trap!"
