Chapter 147: The Day of Reckoning! Pirate Ren Arakawa Breaks Out! (Seeking Monthly Tickets)

At the elevator entrance to the dim and gloomy Infinite Hell, a horrifying scene unfolded.

The ground was littered with prisoners, their bodies twisted in agonizing convulsions. They writhed in pain, uncontrollably spewing purple poison from their mouths. Their eyes rolled back into their heads, showing large swaths of white, vacant and lifeless. They were all in a state of deep poisoning.

A thick, toxic gas filled the air, making one want to vomit at the mere smell of it.

Magellan stood to the side, expressionlessly flexing his wrists.

His forehead was slightly beaded with sweat, but judging from his demeanor and aura, the battle had clearly not taken much of a toll on him.

Faced with his powerful poison abilities, even these great pirates from Infinite Hell could not escape the fate of having their mobility stripped away.

The few great pirates who were still bitterly resisting the corrosive poison could only throw out empty threats like, "If I weren't so old, I'd definitely kill you!" before collapsing into the toxic liquid, awaiting death's countdown.

"Magellan!"

Inside a cell, Shiryu of the Rain gripped the bars tightly, his eyes fixed on Magellan's figure. A low growl rumbled in his throat, like a trapped beast, full of unwillingness and rage.

"Magellan!" Shiryu shouted again, his voice echoing in the small cell, shaking the very walls. "You and I both know how dire the situation is! The prisoners have already started a large-scale breakout. With your strength alone, you can't possibly stop all of this! Let me out, and I'll help you recapture these prisoners and make them pay the price for their actions!"

Magellan, however, acted as if he hadn't heard Shiryu's calls at all, walking straight towards the elevator.

Just as Magellan was about to step into the elevator, Shiryu suddenly raised his voice, shouting, "You must have seen that kid, haven't you? The one with the strange abilities! His powers are a perfect counter to yours; he'll put you in a tough fight!"

"But to me, his tricks are mostly useless. If you don't want to keep hitting a wall with him, you'd best release me first!"

A hint of cunning glinted in Shiryu's eyes as he continued, "The current Impel Down has fallen into an unprecedented crisis! You need my power. We once protected the order here together. Although we've had our conflicts, at this critical moment, only I can truly help you!"

"Magellan!!!"

Hearing Shiryu's cries, Magellan, looking as if he were deaf, grimaced and pressed the elevator button.

"Magellan! You bastard..."

Just as Shiryu was filled with despair, thinking all hope was lost as the elevator doors were about to close completely...

A black shadow suddenly flew out from the narrow gap!

With a "clang," a key landed precisely in front of Shiryu's cell.

Then, the elevator slowly ascended.

The "whirring" sound of its operation seemed to be the accompaniment to this secret transaction.

Shiryu was stunned for a moment, then his face instantly broke into a sinister grin. That smile held a chilling, bloodthirsty glint, like a wolf that had been lying in wait for a long time finally getting its chance to be uncaged.

He moved swiftly, bending down to pick up the key and unlocking the heavy Sea-Prism Stone shackles on his body.

The chains fell to the ground with a "clatter."

He then unlocked the handcuffs tightly fastened on his wrists, every movement filled with savage impatience.

Afterward, he gave a forceful push, throwing the cell door open with a "bang" and striding out of the cage that had imprisoned him.

Shiryu walked to a corner. His gaze swept over the corpses of the wardens, finally landing on a tachi that emanated a cold light.

Picking up the tachi, he walked step by step towards the poisoned prisoners. The corners of his mouth lifted slightly, revealing a cruel arc.

At this moment, the prisoners were already tormented by the poison to the brink of collapse. They struggled to raise their heads and look at Shiryu. Their eyes, originally filled with despair, ignited with a spark of hope when they saw him approach. They thought they were about to be saved by a fellow prisoner, to be freed from this agonizing poison.

However, they were dead wrong.

Shiryu stood firm before them.

The next second! His hand rose and the blade fell!

A cold glint flashed, and a human head was sent flying in an instant!

"Hehehehehe!" Shiryu let out a wild burst of laughter. The sound echoed in the grim space, sending shivers down one's spine.

The bloodthirsty, cold, and ruthless Shiryu had returned!

The elevator connecting Infinite Hell and Extreme Cold Hell to the upper levels only went as far as the junction between the Blazing Hell and Extreme Cold Hell before stopping.

This design was intentional. Fearing that prisoners might take a direct elevator to the surface, they had specifically added a section in the Blazing Hell that required a transfer on foot, just in case.

Pirate Ren Arakawa had been waiting here for a long time.

Beside his feet were two brutish-looking escaped convicts.

However, these two had now become the hearts for Ren Arakawa's Earth Grudge Fear.

With a "ding," the elevator doors opened.

From the elevator, a giant rear end squeezed out first, followed by a giant prisoner.

A continuous stream of prisoners rushed out of the elevator until one of the instigators of this breakout, the Okama King Emporio Ivankov, walked to the front of the crowd.

"Ivankov! Say something! What should we do? We can't breathe this poison gas!"

The convicts looked towards the Okama King, simultaneously revealing why they were standing so obediently in place instead of rushing towards the distant elevator like students charging into a cafeteria.

It was precisely because of the poison gas Magellan had just deployed, making every inch of this level treacherous, that this group of people still stuck together.

Before Ivankov could speak, Ren Arakawa stepped forward.

He took a deep breath. The blue masks on his shoulders seemed to follow his rhythm, like two fans, and began to inhale forcefully.

Immediately after, Ren Arakawa's hands moved rapidly, forming the hand seal for Wind Release: Great Breakthrough, which he had learned from Orochimaru!

"Compound Ninjutsu: Wind Demon Wild Dance!" Ren Arakawa roared, and a powerful, fierce gale howled out from his mouth and the mouths of the Earth Grudge Fear masks.

The gale was like an invisible giant dragon, baring its fangs and claws as it lunged towards the dense poison gas.

In an instant, the poison gas began to sway and disperse under the impact of the gale. The previously still poison mist now looked like a startled flock of sheep, slowly starting to surge to one side.

Wherever the gale passed, the poison gas was rapidly blown away, and the acrid smell in the air began to dissipate. A relatively safe passage gradually appeared before everyone's eyes.

The convicts stood in place, staring dumbfounded at this astonishing scene, their faces filled with bewilderment.

They whispered amongst themselves, speculating that Ren Arakawa was a user of the Wind-Wind Devil Fruit or some other Devil Fruit.

Seeing this, Ivankov waved his hands. "Our target! The sea surface!"

Like wild horses breaking free from their reins, the crowd galloped madly down the path that seemed filled with hope.

But Ren Arakawa stopped in his tracks at this moment, turning to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the Red Earl.

His hands rapidly formed seals as Chakra gathered in his mouth.

"Great Fireball Technique!"

A massive fireball instantly formed in front of him and shot towards the huge elevator!

At the same time, the Red Earl raised his weapon high, his aura suddenly surging.

A sharp slash carrying a brilliant light was instantly unleashed!

This was a slash from a Great Swordsman!

The Great Fireball Technique and the Red Earl's slash struck the elevator simultaneously, creating a tremendous boom!

Under the effect of this dual powerful attack, the elevator instantly became fragmented and shattered. Metal shards flew everywhere as it collapsed.

After finishing this, Ren Arakawa and the Red Earl didn't linger, turning to dash in the direction the crowd had left.

However, at this very moment, from an inconspicuous corner, the crisp sound of a "ding" suddenly rang out.

The prisoners' hearts skipped a beat as a sense of foreboding washed over them.
