Leo said eerily, "The current developments are beyond anyone's control."
He's directly exposing Bucky and Tony — the two parties involved — to everyone, putting them on the spot.
This is a blatant, open provocation; they have to respond whether they want to or not.
The hatred for killing one's parents is irreconcilable.
Given Tony Stark's arrogant, domineering, vengeful nature, there's no way he would let this slide.
This isn't a movie; Tony wasn't brainwashed by Nick Fury and company.
He's even more obnoxious than before — cynical and impossibly arrogant.
Who is he? Iron Man, Tony Stark. His ego is practically bursting.
Soon, Tony was the first to receive the video — a video that revealed the truth.
"Sir, here's a video sent by Mr. Leo. He wants you to watch it now," Jarvis informed him.
Tony shrugged with a playful smile. "Alright, I wonder what this guy is up to now."
The moment Jarvis played the video, Tony's brow furrowed and his expression turned serious.
That car was too familiar. He would never forget it — it was the last car his father drove before he died.
In the footage, the car suddenly lost control and crashed by the roadside.
This matched S.H.I.E.L.D.'s initial assessment. Tony didn't understand why Leo sent him this.
But the next scene drove Tony completely mad.
At the scene of the accident, Bucky Barnes suddenly appeared. Howard crawled out of the car and shouted at Bucky:
"Help, save my wife. Please, help!"
But Bucky got off his motorcycle, grabbed Howard by his silver hair, and delivered a brutal punch.
Howard looked up in disbelief at the man who had struck him.
"Sergeant Barnes?"
He couldn't believe it. The one who'd hit him so viciously was an old friend. Why was this happening?
Howard never got the chance to ask.
Carrying that question, carrying guilt for his wife, guilt for his son, and infinite longing for the future, he plunged into eternal darkness.
Bucky hit once. Twice. Three times. Each punch landed like a thousand-pound hammer.
His face was twisted, sinister, silent. Was this just brainwashing? It looked like a completely different person.
Howard, old and unable to resist, was beaten to death by Bucky — tortured to death.
Beside him, Maria wailed. She could only watch helplessly as Bucky smashed Howard.
"Howard! Howard!" Her screams echoed, drawing tears from anyone who heard them.
But it was useless. Bucky dragged the dead Howard into the car and then strangled Maria — Tony's most beloved person — to death.
The video ended on Bucky's provocative expression, then cut off abruptly.
Sorrow was left forever with Tony.
This wasn't a car accident.
This was the brutal murder of his parents. Bucky. Bucky. Bucky.
"No!!! Father! Mother!!!" Tony roared in insane pain, wailing for his father and mother.
"Bucky Barnes! I will find you! Even if you're dead, I'll dig you up and scatter your ashes!!!"
"If I don't avenge this, I, Tony, swear I'm not a man! I'm not a worthy son!"
"Bucky! Bucky! I must kill him! Kill him!"
Terrifying roars shook the villa.
He watched the video again and again, his heart breaking and his killing intent deepening with each replay.
His eyes ran red, as if he wanted to devour someone. He was a mad beast now — completely unhinged.
A destructive emotion erupted from his core. All he wanted now was to kill and destroy.
The brutal murder of his parents shattered Tony's world and plunged him into utter madness.
He could think of nothing else. He only wanted to find Bucky.
Even if he had to dig up a grave, he would do it. He would scatter the ashes himself.
