Chapter 998 - Chapter 336: Logging Out at the Speed of Light

Hearing these familiar words, Gray almost couldn't hold back the tears in his eyes.

"I told you... I'm already fine!"

"Move aside!" Kana kicked Gray on the butt.

But her strength had waned too much, and Gray was with Natsu and Lucy, so the kick only made the three lose balance and fall to the ground.

"Chirp!!!" The strange bird in the sky had already swooped down towards them.

Kana could only throw three cards upwards.

However, one missed the target, and only one of the remaining two activated successfully as she intended.

Due to insufficient strength, the card exploded lower than expected.

The Wind Magic released did not cause effective damage to the bird, but accidentally affected the ground.

When the bird passed through the storm to swoop down, the four people and a cat had already been blown away by the Wind Magic, narrowly avoiding the attack.

"Ugh..." Kana rolled several times on the ice, feeling a bit of pain, "Should I say lucky or unlucky..."

The others rolled a few times on the ice as well and quickly got up.

"Even as children, don't underestimate us!" Lucy took the River of Stars from her waist and swung it forward with all her might.

The blue whip flew out, accurately wrapping around the bird's body.

"Nice work, Lucy!" Natsu charged a few steps toward the bird and opened his mouth, "Fire Dragon's Roar!"

Simultaneously, Gray pressed his right fist into his left palm: "Ice-Make: Large Hammer!"

A small flame, the size of a basketball, sprayed onto the bird's face and went out in less than a second.

A tiny hammer fell onto the bird's head, shattering into ice shards in an instant.

The two widened their mouths: "The decline is too exaggerated!"

"What are you two doing?!" Lucy was struggling to grip the whip handle and was already being dragged along.

Luckily, Kana intervened in time, accurately hitting with a card: "Destiny's Summoning Thunder!"

Golden lightning wrapped around the bird's entire body.

After a flash of electric light, the bird closed its eyes and fell to the ground.

Lucy felt the opposing force disappear and retracted the River of Stars.

But the bird suddenly opened its eyes and lunged at Natsu, who was the closest.

"Natsu!" Hapi flapped his little wings but couldn't move Natsu's body.

The bird bit the arm Natsu held in front of him, only to suddenly feel the thing in its mouth seem to grow.

Its single eye looked up to find that the boy in front of it had returned to normal size.

Natsu flashed it a bright smile: "Does my hand taste good? You stinky bird!"

The bird immediately released its mouth, and the surging flame erupted from its mouth, partially entering its body, and the rest enveloped its body entirely.

"Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!"

The bird shot toward the sky like a rocket, tail flames spewing from its mouth, the flames on its body suddenly expanding, burning more fiercely.

"It's back... Whoa!" Lucy felt the belt squeezing her breathless, and frantically went to unbuckle it.

The least troubled by this was Gray: "Does it mean Erza has already won, how fast."

The group fixed their clothes and looked over, only to see a burly man lying not far away, with two deep X-shaped blood marks on his chest and a horizontal blood mark on his neck.

His body was much more swollen than before, and his skin color was deeper, but now he was quickly returning to his original appearance.

Erza said, "Sorry, this guy's resilience was stronger than expected."

Freyja looked at Erza with admiration in her eyes; is this the Fairy Queen?

Such a terrible enemy was dealt with in just a few moves.

"Next, it's time to figure out how to melt this ice." Gray looked at the three Treasure Hunters who had also returned to adult size, "Didn't they mention a liquefied Moon's Drop?"

Natsu was not at all polite, directly searching the person, and quickly found a small bottle from the fat man, containing about tens of milliliters of purple liquid:

"Found it! But, how do we use this?"

"Of course, we should ask them." Kana kicked the fat man directly, "How long are you going to pretend to be unconscious?"

Anyway, these three are thieves trying to steal treasures; there's no guilt in giving them a beating.

Lala sat up obediently, saying, "Just pour it on the ice... probably."

Kana clenched her fist: "Probably?"

"We've never used it either! The liquid Moon's Drop is also a very precious item!" Lala really didn't want to get beaten anymore.

"We'll know by trying!" Natsu filled with action, directly uncorked the bottle and poured the liquid onto a roadside stone.

Good news: it really made the strange ice disappear.

Bad news: only the part in contact with the liquid disappeared.

With so little liquid, it's not even enough to unfreeze a giant's fingernail.

"How could this be?!"

The other two Treasure Hunters, who were pretending to be unconscious, jumped up, appearing more shocked than Natsu and the others.

If the Moon's Drop's effect was this poor, their plan was never going to succeed from the start?

Dorek picked up his sniper rifle and shouted: "Plan change, retreat!"

The other two followed him and started running.

No one had the mood to chase them because Freyja seemed severely shaken as she knelt in front of the slightly melted stone.

She couldn't think of any solution.

"Since the Moon's Drop is effective, how about we perform a Moon's Drop tonight?" Lucy proposed, "Like we did in Edolas."

"Good idea!"

Kana didn't quite understand, but Natsu and Hapi still remembered, back then Rhode suggested using the Moon's Drop to resolve Gray and Erza, who had turned into Magic Crystals.

Gray, however, dismissed the idea: "But I remember the Moon's Drop requires the power of the moon, only the environment on Demon Island allows it to be performed, and it's very inefficient."

Lucy also fell silent, as it seemed Leon had specifically transferred Deliora there for this reason.

Erza made up her mind: "In this case, we can only ask the Eye of the Dream Demon people. Even if they aren't behind this, they surely have something to do with it."

"Right! There's still Eye of the Dream Demon..." Lucy suddenly realized as she turned around, only to find Minerva was nowhere to be seen.

Even Doria-Tia, who Erza had knocked down, was gone.

Gray exclaimed: "When?!"

Kana said: "It's Minerva's magic, damn it..."

Regardless of the power, Minerva's magic was definitely convenient for fleeing and taking others away.

The strange bird, who knows where Natsu sent it flying, was another dead end.

"Don't be so disheartened," Erza gently placed her hand on Freyja's shoulder, "Even if the earlier proposal doesn't work, we now have at least three other options."
