Chapter 181: Those Who Wish to Become King, Come Find Me

Black Whale, Fifth Floor.

The communal sleeping quarters for ordinary passengers, where hundreds of people crowded together to rest in one large room.

There were no beds; having a simple mat at this point was considered an extreme luxury.

Smack!

A drunkard raised his foot and crushed a cockroach that had appeared right under his nose. He took a swig of liquor and cursed, "These things can squeeze through any crack they find."

The drunkard looked up at the young man across from him and asked, "What's wrong? You look terrible."

"Is that so?" The young man scanned the area—this was the last of the ordinary passengers' communal sleeping quarters on the Fifth Floor.

"Yeah, you look like you're about to kill someone right now." The drunkard lifted his head and took another gulp of liquor.

"You must've been through a lot to end up on this ship too. Since you're already here, just forget everything from the mortal world!"

"That might be a bit difficult. Some things in this world aren't meant to be forgotten—they're meant to be remembered with blood."

The Spider search of the Fifth Floor was complete.

...

First Floor, Twelfth Zone.

Mord directly used the phone in the Twelfth Prince's room to call the public channel shared by all the princes' guards.

"Those who want to quickly learn Nen Ability, come to the Twelfth Zone to find me."

"Those who want to escape this Succession War, come to the Twelfth Zone to find me."

"Those who want to reach the top in this Succession War, come to the Twelfth Zone to find me."

These were the three messages Mord wanted to convey to all the princes on the ship.

Now that the bait had been cast, it was time to see how these guys would react.

"Lord Mord, do you really have a way to help me escape this Succession War?" Momoze looked at Mord, asking anxiously.

"It shouldn't be a problem."

Mord drew the Zanpakutō at his waist. Simultaneously, a towering woman with long hair styled in a classical chignon, wearing a sleeveless kimono and possessing jointed limbs like a puppet, appeared behind him.

...

Fourth Zone.

"Truly unbelievable. You've almost grasped the essence of Gyo in just half a day." The Hunter Theta watched the Fourth Prince, a cold sweat breaking out on his forehead.

While practicing the Nen Ability training Theta had taught him, the Fourth Prince casually asked, "Little Theta, someone from the Twelfth Prince's side just said over the public channel that they can help people quickly learn Nen Ability. What do you think?"

"It's very different from what you told me. You said even the fastest learners would need at least half a year to grasp the basics of Nen."

Though his tone was calm, it carried a terrifying pressure.

Theta knew that if his answer didn't satisfy the other, the consequences would be dire.

"Yes, that statement contains no lies," Theta replied, his expression unchanged.

"So you're saying that guy is just bluffing?"

"That is a possibility."

Faced with Theta's noncommittal response, the Fourth Prince visibly grew angry: "I'm asking you—which one of you is lying? Do you have a death wish?"

The Fourth Prince's Nen Beast, that horrifying centaur-like creature, seemed to sense its master's emotions and suddenly materialized behind Theta.

Feeling the dangerous aura at his back, Theta instinctively swallowed hard.

"There are indeed unconventional methods to quickly learn Nen Abilities, but these approaches are extremely dangerous. It's also possible he possesses a unique personal ability that can awaken others' Nen Abilities."

"At the very least, I can confirm he definitely isn't using normal methods. My approach is unquestionably the most correct path." Theta stated with absolute certainty.

Although she genuinely didn't want the Fourth Prince to quickly master Nen Abilities, she wasn't lying about this particular point.

The Fourth Prince let out a soft sigh.

"In this world, what I despise most are women who lie. Can I trust you?" The centaur's female face pressed almost against Theta's.

"Of course!"

Theta responded without the slightest hesitation, crisp and clear.

In such a life-or-death moment, even the faintest trace of hesitation would lead to certain death!

...

Currently, what attracted the princes most was Nen Abilities, particularly for those princes who hadn't obtained information about mastering them.

Nine o'clock the next day.

At the appointed time, nearly all the princes had sent representatives.

From the Thirteenth Prince's side, Princess Sevanti dispatched two people—one was Belerainte from the Hunter Association, the other was her personal soldier Barrigen.

Sevanti, originally planning to leverage her status as Momoze's birth mother to directly take Mord away, ended up receiving a harsh rejection that left her face visibly distorted.

Mord's terrifying killing intent completely terrified her, leaving her without any thought of retaliation.

However, the information about quickly mastering Nen Abilities was simply too important, so despite everything, she still sent two people.

Since Belerainte came from the Hunter Association and already possessed Nen Abilities, Sevanti tasked him with verifying whether Mord's teaching method was correct and reporting everything back to her verbatim.

As for her personal soldier Barrigen, she gave the highest order: master Nen Abilities in the shortest time possible.

The Eleventh Prince and Tenth Prince twins made surprisingly similar choices in this matter.

Neither prince sent their guard soldiers, but rather strangely dispatched two maids each.

The Ninth Prince's selection was relatively normal—both were his personal soldiers.

From the Eighth Prince and Seventh Prince's sides, they each sent their respective mothers' personal soldier captains.

The Fifth Prince's side sent Maor, the Fifth Prince's personal soldier captain who had previously clashed with Kurapika, accompanied by a personal soldier named Longhi.

This was Kurapika's suggestion to them.

Mord's sudden move indirectly provided significant help to Kurapika, who planned to use this opportunity to implement his own scheme.

Although the Fourth Prince already had Theta responsible for teaching, he still sent two personal soldiers. This indicated he didn't completely trust Theta.

The Third Prince's situation resembled the Fifth Prince's, similarly accepting Kurapika's suggestion by sending one personal soldier.

Except for the Second Prince, even the arrogant First Prince sent someone.

The First Prince's personal soldier, Shikaku.

Shikaku looked toward Mord in the distance, a playful smile appearing on his face.

Such a braggart, let me see with my own eyes just how capable you really are.

Each of the three points Mord proposed seemed nothing short of a fantasy in the eyes of everyone present.

This guy actually believed that he alone could influence the outcome of the entire Kakin royal succession war—what arrogance and ignorance.

Let me see what this madman does next.
