Chapter 102 - Sugur Geto, the sinful man

Hi guys, author here! Please share your thoughts in the comments and reviews. And if you like it, don't forget to drop some stones — they're a great motivator!

Furudate continued to list the business and contracts for a while.

After he was done, he sighed and looked towards Naobito. He then scanned the rest of the members and finally stopped and looked at Naoya.

"From the above-mentioned assets, 40%(named the businesses and contracts) will be transferred under the Zenin clan," said Furudate.

The members in the room nodded, but then realised something. From the vast wealth, only 40% was merged with the clan. What about the remaining?

Their doubts were soon cleared.

"The remaining 60% will be distributed between my three grandchildren, Naoya Zenin, Maki Zenin, and Mai Zenin. For the time until Maki Zenin and Mai Zenin are 25 years of age, the responsibility of looking after and managing their share of assets will be given to Naoya Zenin," said Furudate.

The entire meeting hall fell silent at the revelation.

None of them was able to comprehend what had just happened.

Naoya getting a share was understandable, but to give a share to the useless girls of the clan. They couldn't even understand why the late clan head would do this. Was he senile? Not to mention, Kagenori didn't keep a share under Naobito's or any other members of the clan. Only the grandkids.

"Next onto the-" Furudate continued.

However, before he could say anything further, an angry shout echoed in the hall.

"Just wait a minute!"

Furudate stopped and looked towards the man who had interrupted him. Was that man slow in the head?

The other people in the hall looked towards the man as well.

The one in question was Ogi Zenin, the biological father of Maki and Mai.

"Why are Maki's and Mai's names mentioned in the will. And even though they are mentioned, why is Naoya made the overseer of their share? Shouldn't their father be responsible? Did you make a mistake?" asked Ogi.

Furudate looked at Ogi and thought, 'Not slow in the head. Less brain cells, it seems.'

"There are no mistakes that I made. It is what is written in Kagenori-sama's will. If you doubt my words, you can refer to the copy of the same that I have submitted to the clan," said Furudate calmly. For better or worse, working for the Zenin clan for such a long time has maxed out his fear resistance.

Ogi glared at Furudate; his anger rose at every passing second.

None of the other members said anything, but their looks told Ogi that they were laughing at him, and they actually were.

The children he despised, kept at bay, and even blamed them for existing, seemed to be favoured by the previous clan head so much that he willingly wrote off a portion of his wealth in their name.

That might not have been such a huge issue, but the management of all that wealth until the girls were old enough went to Naoya, the one who was most likely to be the next clan head.

Ogi was not bothered about the wealth; he was more bothered by how this move would make Naoya seem even better for the candidature of the clan head. Getting a portion from Kagenori could have been written off as him favouring Naoya, which would not have been weird since the boy was very close to him. But to even give him the responsibility of looking after the inheritance of the other grandkids made it seem like Kagenori thought of Naoya as more responsible than Ogi, the kids' actual father.

Ogi was a man who despised his daughters, but even he wasn't someone who would disregard Kagenori's will. Kagenori was one of the few people he actually respected, and his will was literally his last wish. No matter how foolish a wish it was, he would still not disregard it.

But openly stating that Naoya would look after it ruined his reputation a bit. It made it seem like he would exploit his children. Honestly, it was a ridiculous claim, according to him. He would not even want to get associated with them in any possible way, much less be termed as someone who misused the inheritance of those worthless girls.

Ogi looked at Naoya, who was uninterested in this whole ordeal.

To him, the inheritance that Kagenori gave him was simply the final gift from the old man; he was not even thinking about the political or financial advantages it would bring him. He was more than capable of living in luxury and providing his close family to live in the same manner as well.

Still, he could feel the gazes of the others on him. Already calculating their next move. He could also feel the gaze from Ogi on him, which clearly displayed that he was displeased with the whole situation.

Naoya looked at the members in the room and finally spoke.

"...I am already not in the best of moods because of Grandpa's death. No need to make the whole thing worse for us. There is no deep meaning in Grandpa's will. He gave away a lot of his wealth to the clan because he cared about all members of the clan, and it was better for him to do it this way. The rest was given away to the twins and me because, unlike you all, who were able to spend a long time with him and he was able to help you all, we three were not that fortunate, and he wanted to make sure that his grandkids didn't feel short of anything. Sure, it might seem that we are a bit more favoured, but that is only because we are the only close family to him who were not able to spend a long time with him," said Naoya.

Naoya looked at all of them intently, and immediately, the gazes on him looked away.

"The clan is already quite stable and in quite a good position in the jujutsu world. Grandpa won't make a move that will disrupt that balance. More than me, you all who have known him for longer must know that better than anyone," added Naoya.

He was not in the mood to argue and simply looked towards Furudate to continue.

The atmosphere in the hall got awkward all of a sudden. Kagenori's stance about the clan was well known to all of them, and what Naoya told them made sense. Though, since he pointed that out, it felt like he was disrespecting them.

Still, none sounded their complaints because if they argued further on this topic, they would be proving Naoya's point even more.

Ogi snorted, but decided to go silent as well. The situation was still not defused. The image that Naoya was selected over him by Kagenori was still there, but nothing could be done about it for now.

Furudate, seeing that the crowd was silent, focused back on the documents.

"Continuing from where I left off. The private cursed tools in Kagenori-sama's possessions will be added to the Zenin clan's armoury. The only exception is the cursed tools in possession of the squad that used to work directly under Kagenori-sama (listed and grades of cursed tools in possession of his men) and the Will of Shadows, the Grade-2 cursed tool in possession of Naoya Zenin."

No one had complaints with this. The Will of Shadows was already treated as Naoya's cursed tool anyway. As for the cursed tools, with others, the Zenin clan didn't have the hobby of stripping weapons from members who actively worked for and contributed to the clan.

Furudate continued reading the will for a while, and it was quite late by the time the meeting finally ended.

Overall, the atmosphere after the will was quite normal. No one was much displeased with how things went, and even the minor resentments among the members were not much of an issue. Everyone knew if they went ahead with their resentment toward the target, it would only result in getting to the hospital and getting stuck on life support, and that was somehow the best-case scenario.

-----

After the meeting, Naoya went back to his room, and just like usual, Maki and Mai were there.

The only thing that was unusual was that the girls were wide awake and were sitting in seiza position.

"Were you two waiting for me?" asked Naoya.

Maki and Mai gave a serious nod.

Naoya nodded and sat in front of them. Seeing them looking this serious, he too sat in seiza.

"What is it?"

"We want to get strong! Super strong! We know that we don't have much talent, but we want to get strong!!!!"

The two of them said in unison and bowed to Naoya.

"Onii-chan! Please!"

Maki and Mai clenched their fists tightly.

"Hm? Was I going easy on you during training so that you thought I wasn't training you two to be strong? Well, looks like training needs to be even harsher," said Naoya.

"Eh?"

Maki and Mai didn't know why, but it felt like the two of them somehow dug their own graves.

"Well, you two are old now. You two probably won't cry from super duper hellishly harsh training now," said Naoya with a smile.

"..."

Their intuition was screaming that Naoya didn't give the terrible name to training for no reason.

Naoya patted their head with a friendly smile and then got up and started preparing to go to bed.

Maki and Mai just sat and looked at each other as if questioning if they had made the right choice or not.

Though as they were thinking that, they remembered how the rest of the clan looked at them and how they were more of a burden on Naoya.

Their doubtful gazes turned to one of determination, and they gave a nod.

Naoya looked at the two of us as he lay in his futon. They were so gonna cry even after those determined looks.

-----

Just like that, time passed.

It has been a few years since Kagenori's death. Naoya was done with college and was now working professionally as a Jujutsu sorcerer.

"Big Brother! Here I come!!!" a shirtless, muscled-up man declared as he lunged towards Naoya.

"Call me sensei." Naoya retorted with a deadpan tone and easily dodged the man's attack.

Naoya then proceeded to dodge several more attacks from the man as he continued to try to land a hit on Naoya.

Aside from the two of them, there was an audience as well.

Two other kids, the same age as the boy who was trying to land a hit on Naoya and Utahime.

Currently, they are in the training ground of the Kyoto Jujutsu High.

As for why Naoya was here, it was because Utahime had decided to work as a teacher and was working at Kyoto Jujutsu High.

The boy he was fighting with is Aoi Todo, a first-year student who was, in a way, Yuki Tsukumo's disciple and for some reason calls Naoya his Big Brother.

The other two kids were also first years.

Noritoshi Kamo, the heir of the Kamo clan.

Momo Nishimiya, a blonde-haired girl who was a bit creeped out by Todo's exhibitionism and overly enthusiastic tone.

Though Naoya was not an official teacher at Kyoto Jujutsu High, he did drop by regularly because Utahime worked here and he liked to visit her from time to time.

Fun fact, seeing Naoya visiting Utahime because she was working as a teacher, Satoru too decided to do the same and was now working as a teacher at Tokyo Jujutsu High.

At first, Naoya told him that he was stupid for deciding to become a teacher because of such a reason, but Satoru told him that it was important to check the strength of love between him and Naoya. Also, he had been planning to be a teacher for quite some time. He had had enough of seeing his juniors and other people whom he was close to die because he was not able to be everywhere. He wanted to nurture some sorcerers who, in the future, can take the place of strong sorcerers like himself and Naoya and can handle strong enemies in unexpected situations as well.

Naoya was aware that Satoru was not happy with the situation of the sorcerers, but to think that he would train the new sorcerers himself to avoid suffering. That was something unexpected even for him.

Still, Satoru's proposition wasn't bad, not when Maki and Mai would be joining Jujutsu High this year, and for that reason, he too decided to teach the students.

His papers were approved, and he would start teaching at Kyoto from this year.

Hearing this news, there were various reactions from people he knew.

Utahime and Todo were overjoyed since their boyfriend/ big brother would be coming to their school regularly.

Satoru was complaining that he wasn't teaching in Tokyo and was so far away from him.

Maki and Mai were currently neutral since their admission letters were still not delivered, and they didn't know where they would be studying. If they got Kyoto, then everything is fine. If they got Tokyo, then it's hell. Satoru has, with all his heart, promised them that he will annoy them to the bone if they come to Tokyo.

Back to the present situation-

Naoya had Todo in a bind; the boy couldn't move, and his hands were restrained by Naoya.

In the end, Todo tapped on the ground.

"*Phew* Big Brother is formidable as ever. As your brother, I, Aoi Todo, need to work even harder!!! Am I right, big brother?!" asked Todo.

"Yes, yes. Work hard. Alright, you three, see you guys in a month," said Naoya.

"Huh? Next month? Why? Big Brother, you are going somewhere?" asked Todo.

"Todo. Today is the last day of our first year. We will be on leave till the next year starts," explained Noritoshi.

Colour drained from Todo's face. He will be separated from his Big brother.

Colour soon returned to Todo's face. He will get to meet his Big brother on every school day next year.

Overall, that was a win for him.

Somehow, Naoya could grasp what Todo was thinking.

"Don't push yourself too much, Aoi. Train in moderation," said Naoya.

"I know that big brother. Since this is a rare holiday, I will try to enjoy it. On that note, big brother," said Todo and took out his phone from his pocket and searched for something.

"Would you be interested in joining your younger brother to go to Takada-tan's concert?!" asked Todo enthusiastically and showed the concert date and venue to Naoya.

Naoya looked at the screen; he was not busy on that day. The idol was cute, too.

Naoya glanced towards Utahime.

Utahime sighed and gave him the go signal.

Naoya got the future troubles card from Utahime as well.

"Sure. Mind if I call some friends too?"

"Sure!" replied Todo instantly. Naoya was coming; that was all that mattered to him.

"Satoru, are you fre-"

"I am in," replied Satoru instantly before Naoya could even finish.

"Okay, want to ask Suguru?"

"He is busy today. I will bring him too. Book a seat for him too if the thing requires a ticket," said Satoru.

Satoru didn't know what they would be doing. Knowing Naoya would be there was enough for him.

The two talked for a while, and Naoya explained about the idol concert to Gojo as well before he ended the call.

-----

Later that day, Somewhere in Tokyo:

Currently, Suguru Geto, who has been busy since morning, was on an outing with one of his 'more than friends' friends.

Needless to say, the other person was Kaori Itadori.

They went around the town to play, and after they had their dinner, Kaori invited him back to her place.

It's not like it was his first time either. Kaori had brought him back to her place on multiple occasions previously as well.

"Suguru-kun."

"Hm?"

"Would you like to try something new today?" asked Kaori suggestively.

Suguru gulped. Whenever Kaori gave him that look, it was Russian roulette.

From his past experiences, it could range from them doing a role play or him getting peg*ed. The range was quite vast.

"W-What do you have in mind?" asked Geto hesitantly.

Kaori smiled and wrapped her arms around his, pushing her chest against him.

"I was thinking of doing a threeso*e," said Kaori.

Geto gulped again. A 3-P can go two ways, was Kaori suggesting the one he would prefer or...

"I have this girl who is-"

"Let's do it," Suguru said without thinking twice. It was the one that he would prefer.

Hearing him agree so strongly, Kaori smirked but soon pouted and looked away.

"...Looks like Suguru-kun is starting to get bored with me. You seemed to enthusiastic there."

"There is no way that's true, Kaori."

"Hmph, I will see to it later. When my friend comes, I will show you how great I am and will literally blow your mind today~" said Kaori and stared a bit too intently at him.

Suguru smirked. He couldn't understand how he became such a sinful man who makes such a beautiful lady say these things to him. Well, since he was such a bad man, he will make sure to atone for his sins and satisfy the ladies who will come to him tonight.

Kaori and Geto finally arrived at her home. There, they spotted another lady standing there.

"Suguru-kun, this is the one I told you about. She is Kureha, Kureha, this is Suguru-kun," introduced Kaori.

Suguru nodded and checked out Kureha. She seemed a bit 'lacking' when compared to Kaori. Well, he won't complain about it.

Kureha somehow felt that the brat was thinking something rude.

She narrowed her eyes at Suguru. She will make sure that she will make it so that the boy won't be able to think clearly after tonight.

A/N: Alright, everyone, we are at the JJK0 timeline now. I hope you all liked the story until this point.

Also, just some questions that I want to ask you guys:

What grade was Todo at the time of joining Kyoto? Was he Grade-1 from the start, or did he reach that level before the 2018 Goodwill event?

Any way for Momo Nishimiya's technique can be modified. I checked the wiki, and even though it says Tool manipulation, there is only her broom mentioned, and I cannot think of many things that could be done with just a broom, and how is she a Semi-grade-2 with just that broom?

Also, here are some things I found online.

Do stone the fic.
