At the bottom of the sinkhole, where there is absolutely no light.
The Blood Race, who had previously been suspended from perception of the outside world, are now more or less regrouped after falling along with the tower losing its anti-gravity capability.
If it were other creatures, falling tens of kilometers and smashing into pulp would surely be fatal, but vampires are different.
Although some newly transformed low-level Blood Race members are dead, the more advanced Blood Race members can liquefy their blood, and as long as their hearts aren't pierced by wood, injuries from falling can be healed by casually absorbing some other creature's blood.
But before going out to battle, newly transformed Blood Race members must be brought along because they cannot control their bloodthirsty desire, easily falling into a crimson frenzy without reason, able to break through enemy lines like mad dogs. This makes them the best cannon fodder troops, much stronger than the likes of goblins and kobolds from the Underworld.
Though the pit bottom is dark, the Blood Race has night vision capabilities, and apart from getting their clothes dirty, most of the nobles are now unscathed.
At this time, a noble dressed in luxurious attire is wiping his mouth with a handkerchief on a large boulder at the pit bottom. At his feet lies a succubus corpse with eyes open in death; only very little blood has flowed from the two holes in its neck.
Soon, several other nobles dressed uniquely arrive, elegantly greeting him as if this were not a chaotic battlefield bottom but rather a castle or palace.
"Your Grace, it seems we were ambushed by those freaks. That sound, ah, like melodious bird song, still echoes in my mind," a noble describes the special abilities of the Longevity People in a tone reminiscent of a monologue.
"It's just a little court trick. We have already figured out how to counter it. They have probably never seen the noble Blood Race before, and if they want to oppose us, their tricks aren't sufficient." Another noble, playing with a Thrusting Sword in hand, looks on with a proud expression.
The Duke who just drank blood nods emotionlessly, stands up, and looks around with a calm gaze. An extraordinarily deep pit, shrouded in a special darkness that limits even the Blood Race's vision—how interesting.
He has lived nearly a thousand years and has never seen such phenomena before. Moreover, he vaguely hears something calling to him from afar, calling to his soul that shouldn't exist.
"Mr. Andreyev and Mr. Davydenko, how is the exploration of the surroundings?" the Duke speaks, his face very young but his voice as coarse and hoarse as an old man nearing death, full of a grinding timbre.
The two nobles named appear as young, handsome gentlemen, not only graceful in demeanor but also with handsome looks, sporting beautiful, white large wave long hair. They now give way to each other, wanting to let the other speak first.
Because they bring nothing but bad news.
The surrounding sheer cliffs are too steep, as smooth as if oiled; if they weren't Blood Race members, perhaps their reflections would be visible on the rock faces.
The battlefield above now appears as a tiny pinpoint of light to them, indicating they have fallen at least ten kilometers deep.
At this height, only a few nobles can fly up, and most of their army lacks this capability and cannot go up.
Without an army, should the nobles act personally?
This would be too disgraceful. If other rival families found out, they'd surely laugh their heads off.
Though noble strength is strong, they wouldn't degrade themselves to brawl like boorish brutes, fighting close combat with dirty monsters. If their beautiful clothes or hair were dirtied or a permanent scar left, that wouldn't be pretty.
Eliminating the master's enemies is the task of low-level Blood Race members. Nobles only need to hold their wine glasses and command from the rear.
In truth, there aren't many dukes like the Tatus Duke who join the frontlines personally. Most dukes, even after the Ancestor declared war on the Underground, still remain in their castles and have their commanders lead the army to seize territory underground.
But this is the Fur Bear, and even vampires from the Warrior Race are different here. Duke Tatus was once a General in the Ancient Russia Kingdom, and though he holds back from acting repeatedly due to noble restraint after becoming a vampire, he prefers being at the battlefield to hear the enemy's dying screams.
He can even judge the opponent's age and the extent of the injuries from listening to the scream.
Unfortunately, vampires cannot laugh, or else he might be even more delighted.
Falling into this big pit now isn't a Jedi for the nobles, but he wishes to bring the army out, so he sends people around to search for a way through, even a not-too-steep rock face would do.
Now two of the four Counts sent to scout have returned; as for the other two, he remains patient.
The Blood Race has plenty of time, and he believes that the underground creatures aren't their match. Of course, humans and those freaks aren't either, for he has brought along the family's latest researched special weapon this time.

On the other side of the rock wall of the large pit from Hydra, the Longevity People are also advancing toward the final tower. Though they have acquired some Gravityium, it is still far from enough compared to what is needed to create a Star-Killing Bomb.
Their home planet was destroyed by Thanos, and the solution they came up with is to go back to the past, before Thanos was born, and erase Titan and the entire Titan Race from the Cosmos.
Earlier, they witnessed in action someone seizing most of the Gravityium, a group akin to them from the Future, the S.H.I.E.L.D. camp.
However, the Longevity People are brimming with confidence now; reclaiming Gravityium from humans shouldn't be difficult.
The opposing side managed to quickly snatch the majority of the Gravityium likely due to the Inhuman named Youyou in their team, coupled with Quake who excels at destruction, enabling such efficiency.
Two Inhumans are nothing really, for they are merely test subjects of the Kree People.
The Kree's technology isn't as advanced as that of the Longevity People, though militarily stronger, the Longevity People excel in other areas, vastly surpassing them.
Previously, the Longevity People preferred peace and were unwilling to use their technology for expansion. They had already acquired Infinite matter and energy, even pioneering black technology like robotic birth. Every person lived peacefully and joyfully.
They cherished recording the history of the Cosmos, serving as witnesses to the rise and fall of cosmic civilizations, seeing such evolution as beautiful poetry, pleasing to behold.
Investigators dispersed to every planet would wear high-tech suits, blend into the population, and relay everything they saw back to their home planet for their compatriots to enjoy.
Simply put, Longevity People were an eccentric race that loved watching thrilling events, with planetary production capacity so high it overflowed, and lifetimes such that as long as new parts were available, they could keep living. Being idle every day, over tens of thousands of years, they became obsessed with watching low-level civilization videos from Investigators around the Cosmos.
Life and civilization evolution, cosmic operating rules, everything seemed so beautiful.
Robots don't need to eat or sleep, and besides occasionally charging up, they do nothing but watch 'movies'.
A planet frozen due to a Fixed Star dying treated as watching "The Day After Tomorrow"; a planet affected by biohazard experiments and its lifeforms devoured by zombies was seen as watching "Biohazard".
All being series sent by mates from the frontlines, true stories, extremely engaging.
Watching those heroes struggle and resist in disasters or historical revolutions, either succeeding and etched in history, or failing and dying without remains, provided them with endless new topics.
But those Good Days are long gone; the drama-loving Longevity People no longer exist.
After Thanos's army destroyed their planet, they awakened to the truth: in this Cosmos, only power is Eternal.
Well, then convert technology into power, like humans, go back to the past, and rewrite history, avoiding the tragic fate of their race in the Future.
This is a silent army, harboring only Hate and Grief. Though they avoid excessive killing to prevent too much butterfly effect, if anyone stands in their way, they show no mercy.
This is all for survival and to save their home planet.
