Chapter 871 - Chapter 826: Mysterious House

Pandora should be the person who has lived the longest among the Three Original Sins. When people were still in primitive society, she was just an ordinary member of the Olympus Tribe.

At that time, the gods had just become gods, Hecate was still an intangible concept of witchcraft, humans were very fragile, and mysterious powers were rarely used.

Pandora, still a little girl, one day found a pure gold skull in the wild. The skull had three eyes, a tightly shut mouth, as if staring sternly at her.

Her curiosity was thus aroused, and she reached out to pry open the jaw bone of the skull.

No one ever stipulated that the Magic Box must look like a box.

With Pandora's little hand, the Magic Box was opened, releasing seven powerful demons, namely Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Envy, Pride, Anger.

The now infamous seven Demon Kings were simply a calamity for primitive humans at that time.

Humankind nearly went extinct at that time, and God hurriedly convened the Eternal Council to contain the Seven Deadly Sins and sealed them in the Eternal Rock.

However, no matter how good the seal is, there will be a day when it breaks. The Seven Deadly Sins have escaped thousands of years ago, but now they mostly shrink back in the Hell Plane, as long as they don't come together, the problem isn't too big.

The great burden of almost exterminating humanity at that time was naturally placed on Pandora, making her one of the Original Sins.

Bearing Original Sin is equivalent to immortality; God isn't going to let sinners die so easily, but rather make them atone.

Therefore, Pandora has lived from that era to the present and still maintains her youthful appearance. But she hasn't been idle, she has received various training in martial arts, firearms, mysticism, etc.

With a sufficiently long lifespan, she can learn more knowledge to facilitate atoning for her actions.

Once the Magic Box was opened, it disappeared. She has been searching for its whereabouts for hundreds of thousands of years. Later, when it reappeared, it triggered events like the Trinity War, Crime Syndicate invasion, and a series of other incidents.

Fortunately, with the Justice League and the Super Villain Society, they finally managed to defeat Super Dominator, which allowed Pandora to retrieve the Magic Box, and now she has essentially retired.

The most crucial thing is that it carries heavy sin.

After collecting this trio, Oliver might just be the most sinful person in the entire DC World.

If further operations are conducted next, Su Ming has confidence in transforming him into a very powerful Demon King, at least finding a Hell Plane where he can stand on par with Maggie Ken.

But he himself certainly isn't willing to become any Demon King; he has no intention of using this sin but rather wants to atone.

Another point, apart from Pandora, anyone else who comes in contact with the Magic Box will have their mind controlled and become a lunatic, only those with extremely strong willpower can resist the corruption.

Superman and Diana have both been controlled, which shows the level it is at. Pandora's Box is actually some kind of technological product, like a Mother Box, but not entirely.

But Batman can withstand it, and Su Ming thinks he probably can too, Green Arrow can also give it a try.

...............

"Ah, my good wine has been completely cleaned out."

Su Ming moved his shoulders, tottered out of the resident building, looking quite distressed.

Green Arrow was flipping the golden key back and forth, somewhat confused that although it looked like brass, it was emitting strong golden light, "It's worth, only 2 million US dollars."

Diana had also returned to normal. She nodded as well, "I've already thought of who to introduce him to, since I made a promise, it should be fulfilled."

Su Ming shrugged, Diana lives outside more often, still looks like a normal woman, but if she really wanted to introduce a true Amazon to the Inquirer from Paradise Island, it's simply unimaginable.

Wait a minute, the Inquirer should be aware of this, could it be he's actually a masochist?"

"Who do you plan to introduce to him?" Su Ming opened the teleportation gate.

"One of the most powerful warriors on Paradise Island, steadfast, brave, loyal, beautiful, my mother's guard captain, Amazon General..." Diana reported a long string of adjectives and titles with great pride.

Su Ming tilted his head and walked into the teleportation gate, "Wait, you mean General Philpas?"

"Hey, you know her?" Diana smiled.

"Hmm... last time I went to Paradise Island, I met her, left a deep impression..." Su Ming walked out from the teleportation gate, giving a polite smile.

General Philpas indeed completely fits the Amazon aesthetic, tall at two meters, weighing 120 kilograms, with dark skin underneath, huge chunks of muscle as hard as bulletproof armor.

She can easily handle the heaviest armor, wield the heaviest weapons, her battle cry can make enemies terrified, she's someone who can fight in and out of mythical monster piles seven times.

Thick lips, thick eyebrows, facial lines as sharp as chiseled, full of angles, clearly a particularly determined warrior.

If Paradise Island holds an internal beauty contest, Diana might not even be a match for the General, only their aesthetic, outside folks like Su Ming can only see it as subjective.

Diana didn't find anything inappropriate. On the contrary, the more she thought about it, the more she felt it was a good match. Inquirer's fondness for drinking was not a problem at all, as he had proven that drinking didn't affect his judgment. Being able to drink indicated a cheerful disposition.

And compared with Stranger's fate, Inquirer was obviously smarter; otherwise, Deathstroke wouldn't be so easygoing.

"What do you think? She's the most powerful and beautiful woman on Paradise Island." Diana followed behind Su Ming with light steps, having solved another problem. Her mood was very cheerful.

"Hmm, quite suitable. I hope they can fancy each other." Su Ming flicked out a cigarette, popped it into his mouth, and lit it while starting to survey the surroundings.

The three had once again passed through the teleportation gate and arrived at a new, unfamiliar location. It looked like a common wilderness, only the sky here was entirely gray, and there were illusory shadows constantly rolling on the distant horizon.

"Is this... the Mysterious House?" Oliver frowned.

"Not quite, we haven't reached the Mysterious House yet. This is the Spirit Thin Prison." Su Ming raised his hand and pointed to a dilapidated house in the distance, which looked even more run-down than last time.

The souls lingering here had also increased.

"Why are we here? Is Pandora here?" Diana snapped back to attention, removing her hood. Although both are advanced planes, she still preferred the Forgotten Bar over the Mysterious House.

Mainly because the owner here was too unpleasant. Constantine was like a bug—weak, despicable, depraved—the traits Amazon hated were all perfectly embodied in that man.

He even killed Zatanna's father, took advantage of Xiaozha, and refused to acknowledge it.

The space position of Spirit Thin Prison was unstable, and Inverted Man's teleportation technique couldn't directly send them into the house, so Su Ming had to enter the Spirit Thin Prison first and find a way.

"I know you're close with Zatanna and want to stand up for your girlfriends." Su Ming shrugged, while Strangulation Transformation Horse galloped towards the house: "But Constantine is indeed the best option now. His magic skills are diverse, so we'll let him help us find someone."

"Will he help you?" Diana flew beside him, looking skeptical: "I don't recall when your relationship with him improved."

"Only a fool would get along with this guy, but he owes me now."

Su Ming calmly retracted Strangulation and landed at the entrance of the Mysterious House.

Looking at the blotchy door panel, past events seemed to replay vividly as if it was only a month for everyone in the DC world, but Su Ming himself hadn't been here in decades.

With a shift in his thoughts, he raised his fist and started knocking on the door, the sound of wooden board collisions reverberating afar.

"Bang bang bang! Open up! Free trade!"

The house was dead silent, not a sound, only the wind blowing over the broken eaves, producing a ghostly wailing sound.

Diana peeked through the window and saw nothing but darkness inside.

"He seems not to be here."

"He's definitely here, he almost died before, and I sent him to Hell to extend his life, but he must still be recovering." Su Ming shook his head, continuing to knock: "His enemies are all over the world, only this place is safe enough."

"Uh..." Diana pondered while pinching her beautiful chin.

"Think about it, he's despicable, cowardly, and a scoundrel; his first choice when facing danger is to escape..." Su Ming guided her in psychological analysis.

Diana pursed her lips, expressing her opinion with action. She moved beside Su Ming and joined him in frenzied door pounding: "Constantine! Open the door! I know you're home! If you have the guts to deceive Xiaozha, you have the guts to open the door!"

Su Ming just stepped aside a bit and let her do her thing concerning her door-knocking skills.

Maybe her shouting was sharper, as after three minutes of knocking, Zha Kang couldn't resist the noise invasion.

The door opened, revealing him with an oily smile, looking like a plucky dog leaning against the door frame.

"Hi, Diana, Oliver, and this... Zorro?"

Diana gave him a glare, walking past him with her chin up, like passing by a beggar. The walls of the Mysterious House harbored many ghosts, yet they retreated behind the vintage printed wallpaper in fear of the queen's presence.

Su Ming knew about Constantine and Zatanna's ordeal, but as an outsider, he wasn't fit to chime in, nor was he enthusiastic about helping.

He hooked Zha Kang's neck, dragging him into the room, showing immense strength that revealed his identity.

"It's you?"

"Haha, yes, it's me."

As the door of the Mysterious House slammed shut, Constantine felt like darkness was enveloping him.

A few seconds later, he realized it wasn't psychological but actual oxygen deprivation!

Upon entering, Zorro instantly transformed into the black-and-yellow armored Deathstroke, familiar red light gleaming in the darkness, echoing ghostly laughter in the hallway.
