Chapter 901 - Chapter 736: Phoenix Potion

Devon.

When the Thestral Carriage finally stopped, Conna was completely stunned. She looked at the estate before her, momentarily doubting if this was another Hogwarts.

After all, who else would have two fire dragons, each dozens of feet tall, at their doorstep... even the gates of Hogwarts only have winged boars.

Kael completely understood Conna's feelings, as he had felt the same upon his first arrival, but he was now used to it.

"Please keep close to Tata... Mr. Buzzing has been a bit irritable lately." The one responsible for guiding them was still the house-elf Tata.

"Mr. Buzzing?" Conna asked, puzzled.

Wasn't this Nicolas Flamel's estate? Who is this person that suddenly appeared? He might also be a guest here like them, but the name is quite strange.

"Oh, it's that one. You must be very careful..." Tata, the little elf, pointed towards the garden.

Conna looked over curiously, but she didn't see anyone there. In fact, it seemed the vast estate only held the three of them.

"That's Mr. Buzzing." The little elf pointed to the lawn again.

This time Conna finally realized that he was pointing to a lawnmower in the middle of the grass that looked like a Crup and was joyfully moving around. Each movement of the lawnmower produced a loud 'buzzing' sound.

Aside from this, there was a watering can that watered the plants by itself, gloves that actively picked up fallen leaves... and a long-handled brush bending into an amazing arc, running over on its own to sweep the carriage they rode in.

"This is incredible," Conna whispered.

Even though she had heard Kael describe this place on the way, hearing about it was quite different from seeing it for herself, leaving her thoroughly amazed.

This piqued Conna's curiosity about Nicolas Flamel even more.

The group walked into the estate's house.

"Oh, you've finally arrived," Nicolas was lying on a folding chair, still wearing his eye-catching floral shirt. He waved at them with a smile, "Quickly remove those heavy cloaks, don't you feel hot?"

Now that he mentioned it, Kael did feel a bit warm,

He glanced at the ceiling, finding it a bright and clear sky, in stark contrast to the gloomy weather outside, and there was an occasional breeze carrying a salty scent.

"Where is this?" Kael asked.

"Hawaii, you know, the weather in the United Kingdom really isn't suitable for someone my age." He knocked on the table beside him, and a coconut tree sprang up, its large leaves just perfectly shading his head from the sun.

"What's going on here?" Conna asked, confused, unable to comprehend what the two of them were discussing.

"The ceiling," Kael pointed up, "Unlike the Hogwarts auditorium ceiling that reflects the outdoor weather, this one shows any place you want."

Kael tapped Conna's clothing with his wand, transforming her thick robe into a summer style.

Conna seemed to be still processing everything until Kael led her closer. She finally clearly saw Nicolas's appearance.

"You're... that old wizard from Beauxbatons!" Conna stopped and looked at Nicolas.

"That's right, it's me." Nicolas said with a warm smile, "It's a fateful encounter; we meet again."

"Thank you, sir. I've always wanted to thank you, but you disappeared the moment I turned around." Conna said excitedly, shaking Kael's arm, "It was he who brought me back to Hogwarts before."

"Easy enough to figure out." Kael said, "There are plenty of older wizards, but those who fracture easily with a touch are not so common."

"Kael, your words are too harsh," Nicolas said, disgruntled, "It's clearly your strength that is too much."

Kael shrugged, "If that's how you see it, then so be it."

"Wait a moment..." Conna suddenly realized something, "You knew the person who helped me was Mr. Nicolas Flamel, but you never told me?"

Kael's gaze wavered.

As he pondered what to say, Nicolas tactfully changed the topic, "Just call me Nicolas, no need for such formality. I remember when we met, you mentioned having just completed the assessment for The Most Extraordinary Society of Potioneers, didn't you?"

"Yes, sir... I mean, Nicolas," Conna was still a bit unused to addressing him by his first name.

"In that case... Tata."

The little elf immediately ran over.

"Take Conna to my library," Nicolas said, looking at Conna, "I recall Zygmunt Budge once gifted me a book on potions he compiled himself that you may find very interesting."

"Zygmunt Budge?" Conna couldn't help but raise her voice, "The Potion Master who invented Felix Felici?"

"He invented many different potions, but people only remember the Lucky Potion," Nicolas said, "I believe he left a manuscript here as well, but it's been so long I've forgotten where I put it. You may need Tata's help to find it."

At the mention of the Felix Felici manuscript, Conna immediately forgot about Kael intentionally hiding Nicolas's identity. Eagerly, she followed Tata to the estate's private library.

"Thanks." Kael sighed with relief.

"It was nothing," Nicolas said with a chuckle.

Kael sat down next to him, curiously asking, "Nicolas, do you really have Zygmunt Budge's manuscript?"

"Of course, I even gave him some advice while he was working on the Lucky Potion," Nicolas said, "It was my suggestion to add three-month-old Unicorn Blood, which helped solve the potion's cooling issue."
