"Correction, Headmaster Black," Kael said, "I didn't break in, I walked in through the door, just like using a key."
"Even if you say so, you can't... ouch!" Phineas suddenly flew out of his painting frame, landing on the grass next door.
"He must have something urgent for Dumbledore, don't make a fuss!" Headmaster Dippet said, giving Phineas a little kick.
But Kael doubted if he did it on purpose, just wanting to give a kick.
"That's right," Kael nodded, saying, "Then do you know where Professor Dumbledore is?"
"Well, I don't know," Headmaster Dippet replied.
"Ha, of course you don't know, you fool," Phineas pounced in front of Dippet, raising his arm ready to avenge the earlier kick.
But Dippet had already guessed he would do this, turned around and started wrestling with him, completely ignoring Kael watching them.
Perhaps because this wasn't their first time, the other headmasters appeared unfazed by the scene.
"So, do you have an important matter to discuss with Dumbledore?" a slightly gray-haired witch asked from the nearest painting, standing in a way that blocked the view of the two headmasters pulling each other's hair.
"Not particularly urgent," Kael said, "I just thought of how Voldemort might attack Hogwarts, but we can discuss it later."
The headmistress was silent for a moment.
"Hold on a moment..."
She turned and walked over to the embroiled Dippet and Phineas, took a deep breath, and suddenly raised her fist.
The subsequent scene was blocked by a knight, only the sound of clanging metal could be heard.
But two minutes later, Kael saw Phineas again, with a clear fist mark on his face.
"Okay, actually, Dumbledore is at No. 12 Grimmauld Place," Phineas said, "I have already notified him, he should be back soon..."
...
Just as he finished speaking, a faint sound was heard around.
Dumbledore returned, with breadcrumbs still clinging to his beard.
"Mrs. Weasley is too enthusiastic... she insisted I try her freshly baked bread, but it was truly delicious."
Dumbledore sat behind the desk, asking, "I heard from Phineas that you have something very important to tell me?"
"Sort of," Kael said, "I have a pretty good idea of how Draco Malfoy plans to help Voldemort get into Hogwarts."
"What?" Dumbledore was slightly taken aback, then gave a small cough, "That's a very serious accusation, if there's no evidence..."
"Alright, then let's drop the name," Kael shrugged indifferently, not paying heed to Dumbledore's concerns, and directly said:
"It's the Vanishing Cabinet."
"Vanishing Cabinet?" Dumbledore adjusted his glasses; as a Master of Alchemy, he naturally knew the purpose of the cabinet.
The thing is like a physical Apparition, with two in total. You just enter one cabinet, close the door, and you can exit from the other.
Although it's fixed, unlike Apparition, the Vanishing Cabinet isn't affected by any restrictions; he used it many times in his younger days, very convenient.
The only downside is that it's extremely rare, even more precious than The Mirror of Erised. Currently, maybe only Nicolas Flamel can craft one.
"You mean that Voldemort got hold of two precious Vanishing Cabinets and placed one in the school?" Dumbledore's expression gradually turned serious.
"Not Voldemort, but Malfoy... okay, someone else," Kael said, "and it doesn't need to be brought in, it's already in the school."
"You mean... the one Peeves broke?" Dumbledore quickly thought of something, frowning:
"But that cabinet is alone, I once tried to enter the Vanishing Cabinet, but there was no response, maybe the other cabinet no longer exists."
Dumbledore certainly knew there was a Vanishing Cabinet at the school, but such things only work when there are two, one alone is useless.
"Maybe it's just broken," Kael said, "making a Vanishing Cabinet is difficult, but fixing it is much simpler, I can even do it myself.
The cabinet Peeves broke, I restored it."
Dumbledore's eye twitched slightly.
He had deliberately ignored it before.
As an alchemist, with such a precious magic item, Dumbledore wouldn't have been willing to destroy it even knowing the risks, Peeves breaking it was indirectly helpful.
He hadn't expected Kael to discover it and even fix it.
Kael didn't notice the change in Dumbledore's expression and continued, "I noticed someone searching for something, so I tentatively placed the Vanishing Cabinet there, unexpectedly it was taken, and in a very delighted manner at that."
"Enough, just tell me the name directly," Dumbledore rubbed his forehead, "When did you discover Draco Malfoy, and this should be known by very few."
"Just after the last trip to Hogsmeade," Kael said, "but Professor Snape insisted on protecting him, Conna thought he might have a plan, so I stayed out of it."
"Mr. Malfoy brought that Dark Arts Necklace intending to target you," Dumbledore's blue eyes stared unblinkingly at Kael, "You let him off just because Miss Prince pleaded?"
