Chapter 777 - Chapter 694: The Death Eaters' Decision_3

"That's a relief." Hagrid let out a sigh, "Looks like I misjudged her before, didn't expect her to be such a tough one... If she had said something like that in front of everyone, we would have lost face completely."

"Hagrid..." Kael patted his arm and said, "What do you think the Death Eaters usually do if they want to torture someone?"

"Of course, it's the Crucio Curse," Hagrid replied without hesitation, waving his arm vigorously. "Those bastards used that method a lot to torture the Order of Phoenix members."

"That's the crux of the problem," Kael said. "Do you think someone under the Crucio Curse can still speak?"

"What? Can't they?" Hagrid was momentarily confused, a bit puzzled. "I've been hit by the Crucio Curse before, and while it was painful, it wasn't to the point where I couldn't speak..."

"Don't forget you're a Half-Giant," Kael rubbed his forehead and said. "Your giant bloodline gives you extraordinary resistance to charms, but ordinary wizards don't have that advantage."

"Oh." Hagrid nodded, semi-understanding.

But Kael didn't explain further; he looked toward Lupin in the Two-Sided Mirror, ready to ask for more detailed information.

Just then, Newt's voice came from not far away.

"The outcome is finally about to be decided."

Upon hearing his words, Kael couldn't continue talking to Lupin and quickly ran over.

By now, the valley was completely a dark red color, and even from afar, Kael could smell the scent of blood in the air.

Only two giants remained standing unsteadily in the valley. As Kael approached, they raised their fists simultaneously and struck each other's faces fiercely.

There were no techniques involved, just pure power collisions.

Moments later, the giant on the left wobbled, and its massive body collapsed with a thunderous sound.

"Boom!"

The giant on the right lifted its head and let out a deafening roar.

Meanwhile, the giants from the cave walked out and knelt before him, showing submission.

"Looks like he's the New Guge," Newt said. "Wait for me a moment."

With that, he disappeared from where he stood, reappearing not far from the giants.

The kneeling giants immediately stood up warily.

Due to the distance, Kael couldn't hear what they were saying. He only saw Newt extending his arms, lowering his head, and walking forward slowly with a peculiar gait, sometimes to the left, sometimes to the right.

The giants gradually relaxed their vigilance, only encircling their New Guge in the center.

"Should we go help?" Hagrid asked nervously. "The distance is too close; if they rush forward, Mr. Scamander could be in danger."

"Ah, no need to worry," Kael waved his hand after observing for a while.

He knew this was Newt's unique way of interacting with Fantastic Beasts.

If he wasn't completely sure, he wouldn't go to meet the giants alone.

Moreover, the roars of the giants no longer had the initial anger and threat, indicating that Newt had succeeded.

With that, the remaining tasks were much simpler; Newt had ample experience.

If they went now, they would only exacerbate the conflict.

"It's truly amazing..."

Maxime sighed from the side, "Though I knew Mr. Scamander had extraordinary abilities with Fantastic Beasts, seeing it firsthand is still shocking.

"The giants' tribe just elected a new Guge, and they're at their most tense and aggressive time, yet he can easily earn their trust."

She recalled when she and Hagrid came before.

Even with giant blood, they had to lower themselves and present gifts, and it took a while to finally get the chance to meet Guge.

But now Newt managed to sort it all out in minutes, and with a much higher difficulty than they faced.

That's what makes him a professional, the gap is immense, almost like an endless chasm, not even innate advantages can match up.

After stopping Hagrid, Kael prepared to continue inquiring Lupin about the state of the Magic Realm, but it seemed Lupin had other matters and had disappeared from the Two-Sided Mirror.
