Chapter 635 - Chapter 633: Ron's Attitude

The next morning, as people passed through the entrance hall, they suddenly noticed a big notice added to the bulletin board at the door of the auditorium.

[Decree of the Hogwarts Senior Investigator]

"To regulate school activities, all student organizations, associations, teams, or clubs must register and report to the Senior Investigator (Professor Umbridge)..."

Students, who were preparing to eat breakfast at the auditorium, gathered around the bulletin board, discussing it endlessly, wondering why the school suddenly added such a regulation and worried whether it would affect the clubs they participated in.

Outside the crowd, Kael naturally saw the notice as well.

It seems that Umbridge has her own ideas and did not fully adopt his suggestions.

But there is some change. She initially wanted to dissolve all clubs and reorganize them, but now they just need to register.

Although essentially nothing has changed, it can save a lot of time.

Besides, next to the bulletin board, there's a table where Filch is sitting, a stack of parchment in front of him.

"Anyone needing registration, come here. This job is my responsibility!" Filch said loudly, his tone carrying a few bits of pride.

"The leader, come and write down everyone's names, activity times, and locations.

"Before the registration is complete, no activities can be held."

A long queue is forming in front of him, stretching from the bulletin board to the doorway.

Cedric is among them, standing right at the front, just as Kael saw him, he had just finished writing.

"They even included Quidditch." Noticing Kael, he quickly walked over and said, emphasizing the words 'Quidditch team'.

"But it's fine, everyone knows about the Quidditch team, there's nothing to hide, just write the name simply."

Soon, Hermione and Harry came running over.

"Hey, did you see it..."

"The announcement in the entrance hall."

"Do you think she might have found out something," Harry asked in a low voice.

"It's certain," Kael said, "but rest assured, she doesn't know the specific contents, there won't be any problems."

"Then why did she issue such an announcement?"

"Because those who dare to register definitely have no issues," Hermione said directly, "This way, if she catches us gathering in the future, she can justifiably assign blame to us.

"However, she also has to be able to catch us."

Harry breathed a sigh of relief, just about to say something else when he suddenly felt someone pulling his arm.

It was Ron.

"Let's go, Harry," he had a stern face, wanting to leave as soon as possible, "Don't reveal too much, maybe someone tipped her off."

As he spoke, he glanced at Kael intentionally or unintentionally.

"This..." Harry hesitated but finally couldn't resist Ron, who dragged him away.

"Sorry, Kael," Hermione said angrily, "Ron's acting like this because of his brother's affairs; I think there's definitely some misunderstanding."

"I know," Kael said.

Ever since the news of him "fighting" with the Weasley Brothers spread, he anticipated this reaction.

Because only they know the truth about this, other people, including Hermione, don't know.

This is also to prevent them from slipping up. After all, Kael has seen Harry and Ron "loudly plotting" in the corridor more than once; if they knew the truth, the risk would be somewhat significant.

Seeing Kael's indifferent attitude, Hermione suddenly asked, "You must have some plan, right?"

"Why do you say so," Kael said.

"Because Fred and George still haven't gone to the Hospital Wing," Hermione said.

"This minor injury is nothing for Madam Pomfrey; she can cure it in a few minutes, but they'd rather cover their faces every day than go to the Hospital Wing.

"It's like... they're deliberately reminding others that they fought with you, which is very unusual."

"Who knows..." Kael noncommittally said, "Maybe they think that look is more attractive."

"Hurry up, Hermione, we still have class later." At this moment, Ron's voice came from not far away again.

Hermione frowned, seeing that Kael had no intention of explaining, she also prepared to return.

"Oh, right," Cedric suddenly thought of something and said, "Remember to inform Angelita that the announcement includes Quidditch teams; let her find time to register, otherwise you might not be able to apply for the field for training."

"Okay, I got it," Hermione said, then returned to the Gryffindor long table and sat next to Harry.

"That girl is really smart," Cedric said with a smile, "She's almost figured it out, yet you still don't tell her the truth; after all, it was her idea to study Defence Against the Dark Arts on her own, it should be fine to let her know."

"If it's just her alone, then definitely no problem," Kael said, "But she will surely tell Harry and Ron later, this is still best known by fewer people."

"Makes sense," Cedric nodded, "But don't you care about Ron's attitude towards you?"

"Why care," Kael said with a smile, "Strictly speaking, the worse his attitude towards me, the better; that way it seems real, Umbridge will believe we've fallen out.

"If he knew the truth, he wouldn't act it out so well."

"That makes sense."

Just then, a large group of owls flew into the auditorium, and the topic of Ron wasn't discussed further.

Kael routinely glanced at the Daily Prophet delivered, the front page was a photo of the Weird Sisters and their upcoming performance in Cornwall.

Also, a wizard enchanted the yards of an entire street to prank Muggles, causing the plants in the lawns to grow to ten feet high overnight.

Lastly, the crossword puzzle in the Daily Prophet.

All are trivial news, not a familiar name among them, meaning nothing much is happening in the Magic Realm recently, everything is peaceful.

Kael put down the newspaper, looked up just in time to see Filch walk in, and hand over a thick stack of parchment to Umbridge on the faculty seat.

"When did she come over?"

"Just now, a minute ago," Cedric said, glancing at Filch, who carried away the parchment again.

"How strange, it seems Umbridge has entrusted this entire task to Filch."

"What's strange about it."

"I mean, isn't Umbridge most fond of showcasing herself?" Cedric said, "She's always keen on displaying her power in front of students or other professors, this should be a good opportunity for that.

A single rule can get everyone lining up to sign, it should give her a sense of achievement, but why did she have Filch do it."

"Probably because she thinks it's a rather dull task," Kael said, "Anyway, she's achieved her goal, the rest is just writing some names, times, and places, anyone could do it.

"Plus, there are quite a number of clubs or organizations in the school, about fifty or sixty, getting them all recorded is rather tedious."
