"Field Spell 'Super Electromagnetic Field'!"
The electromagnetic field, a new card developed in this world by Yugen. A dedicated field for Magnetic Warriors, boasting considerable abilities in both endurance and field control.
Godwin glanced around him, observing the magnetic field that had taken over the whole arena, a massive magnetic platform surfacing beneath their feet. Pale blue electromagnetic waves danced in the air, with components suspended mid-air.
"Magnetic Warrior." Godwin sneered, "Such an ancient name, truly nostalgic."
It seemed that in the era he was familiar with, Magnetic Warriors were long obsolete antiques that hadn't been talked about for years.
"Sometimes ancient means reliable." Yugen chuckled softly.
After all, this is the King's legacy, the King's series. From a practical standpoint, as a card deck series of such a classic protagonist like Muto Yuugi, the greatest advantage is always receiving boosts. Although generally, these boosts are often too slow to keep up with the version environment of that time, they're sufficient to surpass competing card decks of the same era by a considerable margin.
"The effect of Field Spell 'Super Electromagnetic Field'." Yugen said, "Once per turn, if there is a four-star or lower Earth Attribute, Rock Race Monster on your field, you can select one four-star or lower 'Magnetic Warrior' Monster from your graveyard and Special Summon that monster!"
Currently, Yugen has Electromagnetic Stone Warrior Gamma and Beta on his field, and Super Electromagnetic Field is dedicated to Magnetic Warriors, all of which are Earth Attribute Rock Race, naturally meeting the activation condition.
"Effect of Super Electromagnetic Field, Special Summon the 'Electromagnetic Stone Warrior Alpha' that was sent to the graveyard by the Magic-guided Grocer!"
A vortex opens in the graveyard, revealing an Electromagnetic Stone Warrior holding a sword in one hand and a shield in the other, appearing alongside its two brothers. The three Magnetic Warriors stood side by side, the electromagnetic waves on them subtly resonating with each other, continuously sparking transparent blue arcs in the air.
[Electromagnetic Stone Warrior Alpha, Attack Power 1700]
Godwin said, "Gathered three Magnetic Warriors in an instant."
"Effect of Electromagnetic Stone Warrior Alpha." Yugen said, "When this card is summoned or Special Summoned successfully, you can add one eight-star 'Magnetic Warrior' Monster from your Card Deck to your hand."
Godwin frowned, "Eight-star Magnetic Warrior?"
A card from Yugen's Card Deck automatically ejects, which he draws to his hand.
"Adding level 8 'Electromagnetic Stone Warrior: Electromagnetic Mad God' from the Card Deck to my hand!"
Then Yugen reveals three Magnetic Warriors, one in his hand and the other two on the Duel Disc.
"Electromagnetic Stone Warrior: Electromagnetic Mad God can't be Normal Summoned, it can only be Special Summoned by removing from the game, one Electromagnetic Stone Warrior Alpha, Beta, Gamma each from your hand, field, or graveyard.
Therefore, I remove 'Electromagnetic Stone Warrior Alpha' first unit that Beta searched into my hand, and the Electromagnetic Stone Warrior Gamma and Beta on the field, a total of three cards, from the game!
Electromagnetic Stone Warriors, transform and combine!"
Alpha, Beta, and Gamma, the three Magnetic Warriors appear on the field, their bodies disassembling into countless parts. The parts are connected by transparent arcs, rapidly assembling and interlocking, forming limbs and a tall body, the magnetic long sword cleaving through the air with crackling sounds.
Electromagnetic Stone Warrior: Electromagnetic Mad God, fusion召on!
[Electromagnetic Stone Warrior: Electromagnetic Mad God, Attack Power 3000]
It's evident at a glance, this is the upgraded version of "Electromagnetic Martial God" created by the fusion of Muto Yuugi's three Magnetic Warriors, a new armor for the Electromagnetic Stone Warrior version.
Yugen uses the Alpha first unit in his hand as fusion material, while Alpha second unit, revived by Field Spell "Super Electromagnetic Field", remains on the field. Currently, his field holds both Electromagnetic Mad God and Alpha.
"A new Magnetic Warrior?"
Godwin slightly frowned.
This Magnetic Warrior seems quite formidable, possibly difficult to handle. However, Godwin, originally not knowing much about Magnetic Warriors, thinks it's an outdated relic from the era he wasn't familiar with and can't ascertain whether it's an original new card brought by Yugen from his dimension.
"Hmph, it doesn't matter."
Godwin sneered inwardly.
Even with a powerful Upper-Level Monster summoned, he's not afraid.
Sun and Moon Dragon is immortal. He currently has Sun Dragon Inti on the field, and Moon Shadow Dragon Kilia in the graveyard. Now with this combo completed, Sun and Moon Dragon has obtained invincibility.
Sun Dragon Inti, whether destroyed by battle or effects sent to the graveyard, will revive Moon Shadow Dragon Kilia in the graveyard. And if Kilia is destroyed, Sun Dragon will revive again.
Both effects aren't limited to once per turn. In other words, just as the sun sets and the moon rises, and the moon sets for the sun to regenerate, the alternation between sun and moon is incessant, no force can extinguish the brilliance of sun and moon.
Furthermore, if Sun Dragon Inti is destroyed by battle, it can also destroy the Monster that destroyed it and deal damage equal to the Attack Power of that Monster to the opposing player.
Of course, these are effects from the original animation version, the physical card is significantly weakened. The physical card version of Sun Dragon, when destroyed by battle, can destroy the opponent's Monster, but only deals half the Attack Power of that Monster as damage. Additionally, Sun Dragon can't immediately revive Moon Shadow Dragon upon destruction, instead, it requires waiting until the next turn's preparation phase, greatly diminishing the effect.
Yugen can't entirely recall the animation's effect details, only vaguely remembering the essence, knowing the Sun and Moon Dragon combo is immortal, rendering battle or effect destruction meaningless.
Yet remembering these is enough.
"Battle." Yugen said.
Godwin's lips subtly curled upwards.
Directly entered the battle phase, seemingly intending to let Electromagnetic Mad God and Sun Dragon perish together, then launch a direct attack with Electromagnetic Stone Warrior Alpha.
Heh, come on, strike anyway. Upon striking, you'd find that the sun and moon are indestructible, the only thing destroyed is your hard-summoned Electromagnetic Mad God.
But the next moment, he heard Yugen say, "I use 'Electromagnetic Stone Warrior Alpha' to attack 'Sun Dragon Inti'!"
Godwin: "???"
Instantly, he thinks he misheard.
Electromagnetic Stone Warrior Alpha... Using that four-star weakling Warrior for an attack?
[Electromagnetic Stone Warrior Alpha, Attack Power 1700]
Alpha, commanded by its master, shows no fear, wielding its sword as it charges forth, slicing directly down with its sharp blade.
Godwin is greatly puzzled.
What does this mean? Did he misspeak when declaring an attack?
