"So Professor Kobra had such a conspiracy..."
Principal Jiaodao crossed his fingers, resting his chin, looking somewhat dazed.
The sunlight outside shone on his bald head, from afar it seemed as though the head was emitting golden rays.
Just last night, as the principal, Jiaodao also learned of Professor Kobra's conspiracy.
The investigation team brought by Yugen from Kaiba Group thoroughly searched the facilities where Kobra previously hid, uncovering dreadful intentions from the residual data showing Kobra's plan to hold a "Death Duel" tournament at the Academy.
Clearly, he intended to use the life force of the Academy's teachers and students to revive a fearsome and evil elf.
The investigation team also found a large number of wristwatch devices in the facility. Kaiba Group identified that these devices would impose a tremendous load on the duelists wearing them, causing exhaustion and coma post-duel, leaving permanent aftereffects, and in serious cases, possibly threatening life.
If things truly progressed to that point, it would indeed be a catastrophe difficult to resolve.
The evidence collected so far only reveals Professor Kobra's intent to gather energy to revive that terrifying elf. As for what the elf would do after revival, and what kind of threat it might pose, remains unknown.
Nonetheless, it is foreseeable that the situation could have been far worse.
Coincidentally, Principal Jiaodao has some matters requiring travel in a couple of days. If such things happen at the Academy, he might be absent again...
Thinking of this, Jiaodao couldn't help but rub his brows, feeling somewhat apprehensive.
Fortunately, this Academy has Yugen, who saw through Kobra's plot in advance. Otherwise, who knows what the outcome would have been.
But what exactly is going on with this Academy? Why does it attract all sorts of monsters and conspiracies so easily...
Just as he was considering this, the office door opened. Chronos and Instructor Napoleon walked in side by side.
"I've always said, we are an Elite Academy!" Instructor Napoleon shouted, "Do you understand what Elite Academy means? It means we only nurture the finest elites, there's no need for the lagging and the bottom!"
Chronos responded angrily: "Even so, you can't directly abolish the Red Dormitory, can you?"
Napoleon: "Why not?"
Chronos: "Now you've discarded the Red Dormitory, what's next? Aren't you going to abolish another backward dormitory?"
Napoleon asserted: "That depends on the situation!"
The two bickered as they walked, seemingly oblivious to having entered the principal's office.
The principal was somewhat worn out by their arguing, frowning: "You two... I don't have the mood, quiet down."
But the two were heated in their debate and didn't hear him at all.
Chronos: "Speaking of which, I've long found you disagreeable!"
Napoleon rolled up his sleeves: "Is that so? What a coincidence, so have I. Looking like a Pot of Greed, not at all like a teacher..."
Chronos roared in anger: "Who are you calling Pot of Greed!?"
Their argument grew louder, completely ignoring the principal beside them.
The principal closed his eyes, gathering himself for several seconds, like a volcano accumulating energy.

"Enough!"
The principal slapped the desk as he stood.
"Too noisy! Get out, both of you, get out!"
The two instructors were shocked, holding onto each other, exclaiming in unison: "Mamma mia—"

After lunch, Yugen was preparing to take the freshly recruited Jim to the lab for a look.
He held high regard for Jim, not just in terms of duel capability, but also research prowess, particularly in exploration and excavation.
As mentioned before, Jim was an archaeology enthusiast, which his Fossil Card Deck attests. As well-known in the Yu-Gi-Oh! world, archaeology can unexpectedly unearth some long-lost top-tier slabs, or some seemingly Mortal Bone monster's game-changing new attire.
Archaeology is quite a worthy field of attention. Although Yugen's lab was significantly developed, it currently focuses mainly on card development, not yet involving archaeological site exploration. However, he always had thoughts about it, and with Jim joining, he might consider forming a relevant team later.
After exiting the cafeteria, after a few steps down the road, they encountered Judai and his companions. The group was engaged in a heated discussion.
Seeing Yugen and Jim from afar, they all lit up.
"Oh, Yugen and the new student!"
Judai waved enthusiastically.
"Have you heard, big news!"
Yugen curiously asked: "What big news?"
"Um..." Marufuji Sho nudged his big brother, "It's still just a rumor, apparently not confirmed yet."

Yugen inquired: "What's the matter?"
"It's about Chronos and Instructor Napoleon." Marufuji Sho explained, "The word is, they might be expelled."
Jim, unfamiliar with the school's teachers, showed no reaction. But Yugen couldn't help raising his eyebrow.

"Well, not surprising."
Chazz crossed his arms and huffed.
"These two have offended not a few students, many harbor grievances against them. It's not impossible for them to be impeached."
Marufuji Sho squinted: "Mainly because Lightning, you fell from the Blue Dormitory to Osiris Red, which is why the instructors' attitudes toward you made a one-eighty turn."

He suddenly recalled, wasn't there really an episodic storyline where the two instructors were purportedly about to be expelled?
"Ah, you guys see, is that them over there?"
Judai's sidekick Bladehill pointed towards the direction of the riverbank and asked.
The crowd followed his fingertip, seeing at the idle riverbank, two differing in height and build figures sitting desolately side by side, their silhouettes appeared so forlorn...
"Seems like it!"
Thus, the group swarmed over.
"Instructors!"
"Chronos, Instructor Napoleon!"
The two instructors looked up sluggishly, giving them a glance.
"Ah, it's you guys."
They then lowered their heads again, staring at the azure sea below, as if heartbroken.
Witnessing their reaction, the crowd was half convinced by the rumors.
"So," Judai cautiously asked, "Is the rumor true? Are the professors really getting fired?"
The two professors nearly fell into the sea.
