"Grab money..."
Lily thought for a moment and said, "Are we going to make a move on that Golden Emperor? I've checked his intelligence; he has deep ties with the World Government..."
After receiving the news last time, Lily knew that Sage would definitely target this wealthy man.
Sage could never accept that someone without any ties, right before him, could be richer than him!
"Kalifa," Lily called out.
"Yes."
Kalifa extended her hand, lightly pushing the edge of her glasses with her fingers, and said:
"Gild Tesoro, known to the world as the Golden Emperor, owns the world's largest entertainment city, 'Gulan Tesoro,' similar to the Vinsmoke Clan from the North Sea, both have no territory and rely on a giant ship as their domain."
"In just twelve years, he turned nothing into becoming the richest person in the world, previously considered the strongest business genius."
While speaking, Kalifa glanced at Sage.
The reason for saying 'previously' was because the greatest business genius today was right in front of her.
At least Tesoro took twelve years, while Sage created a fortune much larger in just over two years.
Kalifa continued:
"Due to wealth, Tesoro can even influence the Heavenly Celestial Dragons and issue directives to us through them capriciously. That place is also recognized as an independent country and a non-military territory by them, and we're not allowed to make a move there. So far, it has become an absolutely neutral place."
"Absolutely neutral?" Lily asked suspiciously.
"Yes, Navy, Pirates, criminals, Special Agents, Revolutionary Army... all can appear there, and no one investigates. No matter how hostile outside, once inside, everyone must abide by its rules, that's the absolute neutrality," Kalifa explained.
"Such a place doesn't exist."
Upon hearing, Lily directly said, "So-called absolute neutrality simply hasn't met a force strong enough to ignore the rules."
"Hmm..."
Sage nodded and said, "I'm just going there to take some money. That Golden Emperor better wise up. Tsk, the Golden Emperor... I can only call myself King, yet he dares call himself Emperor!"
But there's nothing much to say, just like the position of the Pirate King is higher than that of the Sea Emperor; being a King is better than being any sort of Emperor or Monarch.
"In the New World, within my territory, no one is allowed to be richer than me!"
Sage gave himself a thumbs up with a sinister laugh, "Nor can anyone bear a title more impressive than me, Treasure King!"
Even though Sage wasn't clear how much money the Golden Emperor had, he would still act because Lily's intelligence showed that guy's location was in the sea region bordering his and Big Mom's forces.
He wasn't just encroaching on Big Mom's thirty islands but the whole area; previously, Big Mom didn't care much, just used those places as food ingredient sources, not giving before killing.
After Sage took over, the first thing was to send Katakuri back to prepare to reconquer once more.
He needed no other rulers; all islands within his domain had to fall under his control.
Katakuri estimated to still be integrating Totto Land, but some situations Sage already understood through Lily, including this Gulan Tesoro.
Once his and Big Mom's domains fully merged, Sage wouldn't allow him to stay in that sea region, even if it was just empty ocean without a single island; he wouldn't allow anyone to operate there without his permission.
Oh, you're doing business in my territory, luring people who should be paying taxes to me to have fun there, and you won't pay taxes...
Sage felt he was losing out!
What?
It's not his property? Just because you haven't earned doesn't mean it's not a loss...
He's a pirate; why care about so much!
"Are you going to go there yourself?"
Seeing Sage's stance, Kalifa asked in surprise, "That Golden Emperor isn't qualified, right..."
The Golden Emperor has a high status and is strong, especially for those organizations serving the Heavenly Celestial Dragons like theirs, basically crushing nature.
But when facing the best on the seas, Kalifa still felt the Golden Emperor wasn't qualified.
Like Lily said, there's no neutrality with sufficient strength.
Gulan Tesoro has, until now... never had a Four Emperor visit.
Once Sage goes there, absolute neutrality won't exist anymore.
"Largest entertainment city, I want to see how flourishing it is."
Sage stroked his chin and laughed, "If possible, it should be perfectly replicated in Storm City. If not, just see how much sincerity that Tesoro offers."
Too little sincerity means something to settle the debt...
"Lily, later, ask who is interested, then prepare for departure."
Sage waved his hand and suddenly thought of something, saying, "By the way, why didn't I see Buggy at the last party?"
He called and entrusted Buggy to guard home, initially intending to meet, but the party after defeating Big Mom made him entirely forget this matter.
"Buggy...'Star Clown' Buggy?"
Lily was momentarily surprised, saying helplessly, "That red-nosed man we encountered in East Sea came; he didn't reach Storm City but was on Vice Island with his men gorging and boozing. He sneaked away on the third night...also stole a chest of custom-made cannonballs."
This guy was undoubtedly lucky.
Took the contract, yet ran into no enemies, practically when they reached Sage's domain shortly after, Sage won, earning a fortune for nothing.
Compared to that, attending the party and stealing cannonballs were minor matters.
"Next time, make him pay for the cannonballs," Sage said.
Logically, stealing in his territory isn't the same as robbing his men outside.
Though it's just a batch of unimportant custom-made cannonballs, following rules, even if he didn't say, the underlings would pursue.
But strangely...
Buggy is somewhere between underlings and not underlings.
Since Crocodile is his patron, while Sage, to some extent, is Crocodile's patron.
After all, he's invested a large sum and resources, supporting Crocodile.
Buggy Express Company counts as his industry.
With this red nose roaming outside, it brought considerable business to O'hara, especially after Doflamingo failed; not only did his part of the business not shrink, but it expanded more.
Sage partially managed, giving Link tasks.
Crocodile took some part, with Buggy doing.
The Underworld itself is involved, yet many channels originate from his side, another portion.
Whether due to competitive relationships or not, war business involving weapons and medicines still remains popular.
A small matter wouldn't cause much, Buggy just needs to repay later.
Sage merely asked incidentally; at present, he's more interested in that so-called largest entertainment city...
Five trillion Belly!
Couldn't spend it even over a lifetime!
