In a scenario where both parties are highly confident, a grand-scale war erupted between the Hidden Rock Ninja Squad and the Konoha Ninja Squad at the border of the Land of Grass.
Given both sides had their strategies, there was no pretense—just pure tactical warfare.
Hundreds of ninjas employed various techniques, attacking each other relentlessly.
"Earth Release: Rock Cannon Jutsu!"
A structured group of hundreds of Hidden Rock Ninjas stood together, unleashing rock cannonballs at the Konoha Ninja Squad.
"Fire Release: Great Flame Jutsu!"
Ninjas from the Sarutobi clan gathered and executed their clan's secret technique, spewing intense high-temperature flames together.
"Toad Oil Bomb!"
Under Jiraiya's orders, Gamabunta condensed Chakra to transform into toad oil and expelled it alongside the Sarutobi clan's Fire Release.
Whoosh whoosh!!
With the addition of toad oil, the already fierce flames of the Great Flame Jutsu increased dramatically in temperature and became even more formidable. Even the rock cannonballs were eroded and destroyed by the high temperatures.
"Explosion Release: Exploding Shattering Stone!"
Rekiseki quietly approached the side of Gamabunta, launching an explosion release projectile at Jiraiya, who stood above Gamabunta.
However, Jiraiya had already been aware of him and immediately used a ninjutsu to block the attack.
Boom boom!!
A red figure, emitting steam from behind, rampaged across the battlefield unscrupulously; any Konoha Ninja that came into contact with it suffered severe injuries at best, or died instantly at worst.
The Konoha ninjas nearby had no choice but to retreat swiftly, as this was a Jinchuriki after all.
Mokgetsu didn't rush to take action; utilizing abilities like Byakugan and Transparent World Observation, he meticulously scrutinized the strong figures not belonging to Konoha.

There's no denying that these panels are quite impressive; even Rasa, who seems the weakest, displays a panel surpassing many powerful figures Mokgetsu has appraised.
The strongest, the Third Raikage, possesses a skill at perfect level.
Mokgetsu was not surprised by this, as these individuals were indeed Kage, the true pinnacle of the Ninja World.
Genius for a shadow is merely the threshold; anyone who becomes a Kage has once had their heyday.
"Time to cast the lure."
Observing Konoha's troops falling into disadvantage, Mokgetsu quickly gathered large amounts of Chakra to perform Wood Release Ninjutsu.
On the surface, this was a war meant to break the Land of Fire's defense line, but Mokgetsu truly was the core of this war.
Once Mokgetsu took action, the real war would commence.
"Wood Release: Deep Forest Emergence!"
Rumble rumble!!
At the moment Mokgetsu finished the ninjutsu, the ground began to tremble as countless branches and trees suddenly emerged from the soil.
Accompanied by the roar of the earth, trees rapidly grew, transforming the once flat battlefield into a fractured terrain with rolling boulders and deep ravines, completely reshaping everything with this irresistible force.
They rose from the ground at astonishing speeds, with thick trunks requiring several people to encircle them, lush canopies overshadowing the sky, instantly constructing a dense and thriving forest.
"So, this is Wood Release Ninjutsu," Jiraiya remarked with a hint of astonishment at the transformed landscape.
This was his first time witnessing Wood Release Ninjutsu in person; previously, he only knew Mokgetsu had mastered Wood Release but hadn't seen Mokgetsu use it.
Jiraiya had to admit, Wood Release Ninjutsu indeed appeared quite awe-inspiring.
Mature and robust trees that would typically take decades to grow shot up in an instant.
Clash clash!!
Under Mokgetsu's control, the trees continuously swung their branches to strike against the Hidden Rock Ninjas, shielding Konoha ninjas from ninjutsu.
With a whole forest as reinforcement, the battlefield's situation was instantly reversed.
"It's Master Mokgetsu's Wood Release!" the Konoha ninjas being aided felt both excited and thrilled.
Regarding the Konoha ninjas, no other ninjutsu provided a greater sense of security than Wood Release.
Ninjas who once fought against the Hidden Mist or Uchiha Madara alongside Mokgetsu could remain composed.
Because they had already witnessed a stronger Wood Release Ninjutsu; Deep Forest Emergence, while impressive, paled in comparison to Flower Forest Emergence and Woodman Jutsu.
Contrasting with the excited Konoha ninjas, the Hidden Rock ninjas didn't immediately flee in fear but felt their pressure increase dramatically.
The Five-tailed Jinchuriki Han vigilantly kept an eye on Mokgetsu.
Had it not been for his concern over Mokgetsu's Wood Release, he would have erupted with intense Tailed Beast Chakra against the Konoha Ninja Squad already.
"Wood Release Ninjutsu is truly remarkable," Obito commented as he took the opportunity to whisk away several Hidden Rock Ninjas.
