On the ground, the flames of retribution burned, the once flourishing and beautiful Midina transformed into another visage within a few brief breaths.
Thick smoke rolled, towns became ruins, fires burned the crops planted by farmers in the fields, and outside the town, the forest was filled with fallen trees and large craters from attacks.
Arceus's face bore no expressions, coldly and mercilessly overlooking everything below.
All of this is what humanity deserves, this is the price of deceiving the gods!
Humans deserve punishment!
Arceus abruptly raised its head, directing its gaze toward the shrine built upon the cliff.
That was once the shrine built by humans for It; a thousand years ago, those humans attacked It right there.
Next, it's time for that place!
Arceus flew forward, and gazed at the entrance below the shrine, clearly remembering when Damos emerged from there to greet It.
In a daze, Arceus seemed to see Damos again.
But upon closer inspection, it realized it was not Damos, but rather a human girl not yet grown!
"Arceus, please stop!"
Sheena, holding the Life Orb in her hands, quickly ran forward, with Ash and the others nervously following behind her.
"Who are you?" Arceus wondered.
Sheena explained, "I am the descendant of Damos, I apologize on behalf of my ancestor for the excessive deeds done to You! This is the Life Orb, I am returning it to You!"
Arceus slightly squinted its eyes.
Its previously recovered demeanor instantly ignited into blazing rage.
As the human girl placed the Life Orb on the stone, it swiftly advanced, its golden forelimb stomping heavily on it.
With a loud bang, the item named Life Orb actually shattered into pieces!
Ash and the others looked on in shock as Arceus's furious voice echoed through the skies.
"You call this the Life Orb?! The Life Orb is my manifestation; it would never break so easily!"
These humans, deceived It once again!
Arceus snorted coldly internally, a giant red Energy Ball instantly gathered at its brow, and a scorching ray burst forth, sweeping towards the humans.
In just a moment, it split the entire shrine in half, like a laser cutting through a cake!
"Never to be deceived by humans again!" Arceus angrily declared.
Sheena, bewildered, regained consciousness and seeing Arceus about to attack again, quickly rushed forward and exclaimed:
"Arceus! Please listen to me! The constants of time and space, Triumph here!"
Sheena closed her eyes, attempting to use the Triumphant Light to communicate heart to heart with Arceus.
But when she connected to Arceus's heart, all she saw was a crimson field.
Before she could examine closely, the connection broke, and Sheena was thrown outward.
Simultaneously, the golden light on Arceus's "Thousand Arcs" shone once more, a massive Energy Ball took shape at its brow and directly ascended into the sky.
"Boom!"
The magnificent scene bloomed in the sky like fireworks, but the falling dust carried a deadly threat!
The light reflected in the eyes of Ash and the others; if that thing fell, the whole shrine would be destroyed in an instant, and they'd all be doomed!
At this critical moment, two temporal and spatial vortices, one blue and one purple, suddenly appeared in front of the shrine.
Accompanied by a resounding dragon roar, Dialga and Palkia descended simultaneously, blocking the front of the shrine, shielding Ash and others from Arceus's attack!
"Even you wish to help humans?" Arceus's tone was filled with rage.
Dialga and Palkia made a string of deterrent growls at Arceus.
Yet Arceus snorted coldly, a massive fire pillar gathered and formed from its body, transforming into an immensely thick fire tornado, sweeping towards Dialga and Palkia.
The two dragons failed to dodge and were hit by the move Flamethrower.
The massive force caused Palkia to crash heavily into the mountain, Dialga fell onto the shrine's ruins, snapping several stone pillars.
In the distant air, a Phone Rotom was surreptitiously capturing the scene.
It was a Rotom Phone dispatched by a young man, broadcasting the scene outside in real time to the large screen of the underground shelter, allowing everyone to see clearly what was happening outside.
"That's the Legendary Pokemon Dialga, which governs time, and Palkia, which governs space!"
Among the crowd, some quickly recognized the figures of those two Pokemon.
Seeing them being attacked by Arceus, someone couldn't help but murmur:
"Could they be a match for the Creator God?"
No one knew the answer to this question; all the townsfolk and Pokemon looked tensely towards the screen.
On the screen, Palkia had already flown out from the mountain, raising its hand to gather an Aura Sphere, and threw it towards Arceus.
Yet, when the Aura Sphere hit Arceus, it disappeared without a trace, like a clay ox entering the sea.
Palkia's attack was ineffective against Arceus!
Seeing this, Dialga within the shrine's ruins also raised its head, a Hyper Beam gathered at its mouth and shot fiercely towards Arceus.
But the scene that just happened with Palkia reoccurred with Dialga!
