Chapter 925 - Chapter 447: Leon Challenges the Ancient Trial, Darkest Day Rumors (Part 2)

"What a powerful force!" Geeta's eyes sparkled as she watched the battle.

The power of that Koraidon clearly surpassed that of Charizard!

Seeing this, Leon grinned: "Indeed strong! But it's not over yet, right? Charizard, use Heat Wave!"

Leon decisively abandoned competing in strength with Koraidon and opted for a long-range attack.

Charizard began flapping its dragon wings, unleashing a scorching wave of heat.

Under the brilliant sunlight, the temperature in the air rose even higher.

Naoki instantly understood Leon's strategy.

He shook his head and smiled: "It's not that easy. Koraidon, it's our turn, use Collision Course!"

The Heat Wave surged forward, but Koraidon ignored it, leaping high with its golden eyes locked on Charizard.

Then, an ancient aura emanated from Koraidon as it violently transformed and charged towards Charizard.

With such speed, Charizard couldn't evade at all, and was hit by Koraidon almost instantly.

"Boom!"

The ancient aura triggered a massive explosion upon impact, instantly pinning Charizard beneath Koraidon.

The next moment, Naoki's voice rang out: "Now, use Ancient Power!"

Primal energy rose from the earth, turning into massive stones that hovered around Charizard and Koraidon.

Danger!

Leon instantly felt alarms ringing in his mind, as Koraidon's speed and strength far exceeded his Charizard. His brain raced, trying to find a way to respond.

But Charizard was pinned underneath Koraidon, unable to move.

"I have no choice but to go all out!" Leon gave his final command: "Charizard, use Inferno!"

Intense flames erupted instantly, enveloping both Charizard and Koraidon.

Simultaneously, the stones conjured by Ancient Power came crashing down.

The two contrasting moves clashed fiercely, causing a violent explosion that engulfed both Pokemon's figures.

The intense flames ignited the grass at the edge of the battlefield, prompting Vaporeon to quickly use Water Gun to extinguish the fire.

The firelight was reflected in their eyes.

Geeta appeared amazed.

Leon seemed a bit tense.

Naoki, however, remained calm because he knew Koraidon would not lose.

Sure enough, as the explosion's aftershocks faded on the battlefield,

Koraidon slowly emerged from the flames.

Its scales were charred black by the fire, but its expression remained unchanged.

While Charizard had already collapsed on the battlefield, its eyes swirling, clearly having lost its ability to fight.

Brother Indeedee stepped forward to check on Charizard, then blew the whistle signaling the end of the battle.

Geeta applauded: "What a spectacular battle!"

This was her first time witnessing the battle involving those Paradox Pokemon.

"Whew..." Leon sighed deeply, watching his sister Indeedee feed Charizard some Life Sheep Milk, and remarked: "As expected of a hidden trial! Looks like I still have a ways to go in my training."

He decided that upon returning, he would train a bit more on the Isle of Armor under Master Mustard.

Naoki also fed Koraidon a bottle of Life Sheep Milk, and hearing Leon's words, he smiled and said: "You've already done very well."

Hearing this, Leon became interested: "Has anyone else challenged Koraidon besides me?"

Naoki nodded: "A Champion-level Trainer from the Paldea League, but he lost in just one encounter."

Upon hearing Paldea's Champion, Leon couldn't help but glance at Geeta.

Geeta: "..."

Naoki explained: "Not the top Champion, just another Trainer."

"Oh oh!" Leon then recalled that the Paldea League was somewhat different from other regions, having many Champion-level Trainers.

But their abilities varied greatly—some Champions were very strong, while others were quite weak, and only the strongest among them could become the top Champion of the Paldea League.

In the meantime, Leon's Charizard had already recovered its combat capabilities, and Koraidon's injuries had fully healed as well.

With the battle over, Naoki patted Koraidon on the head and said, "Go have some fun!"

"Arghh~"

The group of Pokemon dispersed in all directions.

The weather outside was a bit hot, so Naoki invited the two to rest for a while in the living room.

At this moment, Geeta suddenly received a phone call.

"Hello? This is Geeta. Alright, I understand, I'll return right away."

Upon hearing this, Naoki and Leon looked back at her.

Geeta's face was filled with apology as she explained awkwardly: "I'm very sorry, but it looks like I have to leave earlier. There's an issue at the Paldea League that requires my attention."

By now, Naoki was used to Geeta being busy all the time.

After all, the Paldea League was full of workaholics from top to bottom.

He nodded and said goodbye to Geeta.

Geeta smiled warmly, nodding: "Yes, see you next time."

Then, she turned to Leon: "Lord Leon, if you encounter anything in Paldea, you can contact the Paldea League. I hope you have fun here."

Leon waved his hand: "This visit is purely personal to meet Naoki, no need for formality!"

Geeta smiled gently: "In that case, gentlemen, I hope we meet again next time!"

After speaking, Geeta turned and left the ranch.

"Geeta is truly dedicated!" Leon remarked.

Naoki nodded in agreement, for it was indeed true.
