Time is running out.
Ian didn't hesitate for a moment. He took one last look at the crack, intertwined with golden Divine Flame and purplish-red pus, and glanced at the ghost bride, who had become "lost" but was still strenuously maintaining the fissure. Yet the divine power fluctuations had obviously weakened, beginning to be slowly surrounded by the writhing flesh around, and the golden figure was gradually blurring.
It was the Sun God Ra, burning his last strength, causing internal damage to the enemy.
"May the sun guide your path."
Ra's voice directly entered Ian's consciousness.
"Then take care of yourself!" The raven let out a long cry, flapping its wings towards the rapidly contracting passage. Ian whispered in his heart, then transformed into a streak of black light—raven—flapping its wings with resoluteness, charged out of the crack torn by Solar Divine Power, leading to the battlefield of destruction!
Ian could feel Set-Apep's frantic counterattack, attempting to mend the torn wound. Behind him, countless lost ghost brides wandered in paradox.
The Evil God's furious roar shook the entire space.
The passage's inner walls were covered with pulsating blood vessels and nerve bundles, thick liquid continuously dripping. Ian flew at maximum speed, avoiding the writhing tendrils and the suddenly contracting walls.
A faint light emerged ahead—the exit was close at hand! However, just as the raven was about to rush out of the passage, the entire corridor shrank violently, as if the immune system within the Evil God finally reacted. The flesh walls pressed in with overwhelming force, about to completely trap Ian in this flesh tunnel.
"No!" Ian poured all his magic power into acceleration, increasing his speed by a third.
At the critical moment, a golden light shot from behind, temporarily stabilizing the contracting passage. Ra's voice sounded again, weaker than before.
"Hurry!"
This was truly perilous.
Fortunately, the raven shot out of the exit like an arrow, returning to the outside world.
"What a close call!"
Ian, upon emerging, immediately reverted back to human form, landing somewhat awkwardly. He looked back, the giant crack closing at a visible speed under the Evil God's roar and the frantic healing of the flesh. The passage entrance was rapidly healing until it completely disappeared, as if it had never existed.
The once glorious golden pillar of light was almost completely engulfed and covered by the writhing, proliferating dark red flesh, leaving only a faint glimmer of gold, flickering resiliently like a dying candle in the wind among the flesh seams, then completely hidden by the healed flesh.
In the sky, the battle had reached a fever pitch.
"This guy's evolution speed is truly astonishing." Pluton Osiris and Goddess Isis were clearly on the back foot, their divine power seemingly becoming somewhat strained.
Even though Evil God Set-Apep was injured internally, his might remained impressive, his sixteen light wings obscuring the sky. As soon as Ian emerged, he focused all his attention on the center of the battlefield—the massive Evil God that covered half the sky. His sixteen perfect, handsome faces twisted in internal agony.
The purplish-red giant eye burned with rage and pain, countless tentacles frantically lashing out, trying to disperse the siege of Pluton and his wife. And on his neck, like mountains in motion, formed of pulsating flesh, was the Eye of Ra wrapped in pus, glowing with ominous purplish-red light like a heart, pulsating with each beat, drawing power from the Evil God's massive body, while a source of Solar Divine Power, similar to Ian's sensing, yet thoroughly twisted and corrupted, continuously injected into the Evil God, becoming the foundation for his resistance against Pluton and his wife!
"Indeed, his primordial power still originates from the Sun God."
Ian's gaze locked onto the Eye of Ra on the Evil God's neck. That Protective Talisman emitted an ominous glow, like a small sun, providing the Evil God with uninterrupted power.
"I must destroy that thing."
Ian grasped the Magic Wand, silently approaching the battlefield. He only had one chance, so how could he get the Evil God to lower his guard and get close to the Eye of Ra?
He was thinking.
Ian Prince felt the Evil God's awareness, knowing Ian had rushed out from inside and returned to the chaotic battlefield. Consequently, the Evil Goddess was extremely wary of Ian.
Naturally, as soon as he appeared, Pluton Osiris keenly noticed his presence as well.
When he re-formed into human shape in mid-air, the gaze of the two Elder Gods almost simultaneously shifted from the battling Evil God to him.
There were no words. On Osiris's face composed of souls, the golden vertical pupils slightly contracted, and then a faint yet extraordinarily clear fluctuation was transmitted to Isis beside him. On Isis's face woven from stars and moonlight, a knowing look flashed.
They felt it. It was not a magic wave from the outside but originated deep in Ian's soul, a resonance of Solar Divine Power similar to Ra's and diluted by mundane blood, yet weak but real! More precisely, it was the "Prince" bloodline within Ian, forcibly ignited, still burning hotly—this bloodline itself was proof of an ancient vow, an indirect extension of Ra's will.
Everything was understood without words. The two Gods instantly seemed to sense the changes occurring in Ian's body. They knew the last primordial will of the Sun God Ra, whose body had long been devoured by the Evil God, had connected with this "traveler" from the future. The plan could definitely be considered half successful.
