Chapter 1210 - Chapter 388: The Divine Witch’s Price (2)

"So that's how it is!"

This sentence was like a key, unlocking years of doubt in Ian's heart. He finally understood why the Prince Clan had always been geniuses in Magic Potions for generations, why they had an innate talent for controlling flames, and why even the most complex potion formulas appeared effortless in their hands.

Source of Magic Potion!

The Prince Clan's talent in Magic Potions was so extraordinary, far beyond logic, their potions always producing miracles at the critical moment of ultimate flame control!

It turned out all this stemmed from an ancient pact with the Sun God! It wasn't just a skill, it was a gift from the ancient deities! A 'talent' flowing in their blood, resonating with Solar Divine Power!

The source of the Magic Potion talent that Ian and Uncle Snape were so proud of was rooted here!

At this moment, he felt as if he had touched an ultimate secret about his family, about the essence of Magic Potions, sealed by time for thousands of years.

Did anyone know if the truth about the downfall of the Prince family was also related to this? Was it a failed guard? Or... betrayal? Could it also be because there was no divine protection after the twilight of the gods?

"So our Magic Potion talent..." Ian muttered to himself. He was confirming with the Sun God standing before him, "Was obtained at the cost of guarding you?"

Ra nodded slightly.

"Every generation of the Prince family produces a Sun Divine Witch, responsible for guarding the sun's flame during the dark hours. And you, Ian Prince, have been chosen as this generation's Guardian."

Though he accurately spoke Ian's name, perhaps he hadn't realized that Ian wasn't from this era. Ian had mastered the ability to conceal his own time attribute after leaving Ancient Greece. Therefore, the Sun God might have chosen Ian purely based on sensing his bloodline.

He might not have known that Ian came from the future.

"But..."

Ian wanted to ask more when suddenly a deafening roar erupted from outside.

"Damn it!!!" The roar, mixed with endless rage and greed, echoed like the wails of millions of souls bursting from the walls of flesh and blood from all directions!

It was the Evil God! He sensed the abnormality deep in the heart! He sensed that the "Flame of Ra," which should have belonged to Him, was being revived! He sensed that the "child," who was supposed to be His perfect vessel, was nurturing the Solar Divine Power strong enough to burn Him from within!

"Thief! Traitor! You, the remnant who has long since perished, dare to... resurrect within my shell?!" The Evil God's mental intent was filled with defiled rage.

"I am you! I am your everything! The Eye of Ra is already my eye! Your power is already my flesh and blood! I will completely devour you, and this pathetic 'traveler,' turning you both into my 'perfect' foundation!" Apparently, the Evil God Set-Apep had realized the abnormality happening inside.

He was hitting back.

Disregarding the facts.

Accompanied by this roar, the entire cellar, the heart of this Evil God, emitted a plaintive wail akin to a giant beast on the brink of death! The pulsation sound became frantic, chaotic, like a heart about to burst! The viscous walls of flesh convulsed and swelled violently, countless thick blood vessels twisted like spasmodic serpents!

An indescribable terror, mixed with the power of devour and assimilation, surged like a tsunami from all directions, targeting the golden pillar of light and Ian within it!

It was obvious that the Evil God started a desperate counterattack. The Evil God would use all of his remaining power, sparing no cost, to crush and assimilate both Ra and Ian before the Sun God Ra fully resurrected! Through the walls of flesh, Ian could feel the Pluton couple struggling—Osiris' Power of Death was noticeably weakening.

Isis' Life Energy also flickered dimly.

No matter what, facing an Evil God capable of infinite evolution, approaching the level of the Main God, even the Sub-Main God, Pluton, started to feel overwhelmed.

This was the best example of the Gods also being unable to defeat overpowered foes. At this critical juncture, the burning golden eyes of the Sun God Ra turned to Ian, and his intent was clear and urgent, like the last command.

"There is no time," Ra's expression became solemn, "Set-Apep is attempting to devour Osiris and Isis. If he succeeds, all worlds will plunge into eternal darkness."

Ian gripped the Magic Wand tightly: "What should we do?"

A trace of helplessness flickered in Ra's golden eyes.

"Most of my power is still stolen by Set-Apep. He usurped my authority through the Eye of Ra, which is the core source of the Solar Divine Power."

Ra's intent paused slightly, his burning golden eyes seemingly piercing through layers of flesh, gazing outward, locking onto the medium of his stolen power.

"I knew there was a reason he always wore the Eye of Ra on his neck!" Ian instantly understood! That massive eye, encased in pus and oozing with a purplish-red glow, was the key to everything!

"It is just as you think."

The Sun God Ra nodded in acknowledgment.

"You must destroy the Eye of Ra and sever his connection with the Solar Divine Power. Only then can I reclaim all my power and completely end this disaster."

He hoped Ian would extend a helping hand.

"No problem."

Ian also wanted to be a good person.

He immediately looked at the Sun God Ra, filled with determination in his eyes.

The Sun God Ra did not respond but focused the burning golden eyes on Ian one last time. Then, the vast golden Divine Power no longer held back, but instead, exploded like a torrent from a breached star river!
