Chapter 671 - Chapter 188: Snake Slayer! The Fall of Malfoy!_5

His flying talent is indeed very strong.

However.

Just as the enraged Hermione, disregarding school rules, grabbed the broom from the ground to chase after him, everyone noticed the gleeful Malfoy's expression beginning to look strange.

"This is wrong..."

"This is wrong... I didn't mean to keep ascending, damn it, the flying broom is out of control!" This time it was his turn to scream, with the frightened voice almost indistinguishable from Neville's earlier.

"????"

Hermione and a group of students on the ground were bewildered.

"He's definitely acting, right?"

More than one person harbored such a suspicion.

After all.

Apart from calling for help loudly, Malfoy's flying broom was too smooth. After reaching a certain altitude, it swooshed away and disappeared from everyone's sight.

"He is definitely acting!"

Unable to find Malfoy, Hermione definitively declared with indignation, "This guy is certainly trying to use the out-of-control broom as an excuse to argue with the professors later!"

Her judgment received agreement from many of the Gryffindor freshmen.

"So cunning!"

"Pure-blood families are really insidious!"

"This guy is simply full of tricks!"

...

Compared to the Gryffindor freshmen, the Slytherin freshmen, after hearing Hermione's analysis, were suddenly enlightened and praised Malfoy's cleverness one by one.

"This is our Slytherin student!"

"Look! People from the Malfoy family know how to handle aftermath!"

"He's truly a genius!"

A group of students mingling with Malfoy were all praising him, unaware that their "wise man" was now scared, like a quail.

"Oh! No! She reports too quickly! I should have known sooner! She looks like the type who loves to report!" Malfoy saw the figure getting increasingly closer.

This little snake from Slytherin College was completely stumped.

With a dejected expression.

Showing regret.

His legs flailed wildly in the air as he uttered a series of terrified cries, his body trembling violently as the broom drew nearer, clearly terrified by the sudden change.

"Sorry! Sorry!"

The guy actually started to frantically apologize to Ian immediately.

On top of the tower, amidst the howling wind, Ian stood quietly by the edge of the railing, watching Malfoy being brought in front of him by the flying broom through his magic manipulation.

"I'm not interested in your little kids' bickering games." Ian saw through Malfoy's thoughts, but his somewhat speechless words did not get Malfoy to believe him.

Indeed.

From Malfoy's perspective, everything seemed too coincidental; he had just had a conflict with that Gryffindor girl, and now Ian had brought him to this secluded corner.

If this wasn't a beating, then what was it?

"I didn't mean to bully your little follower... she started it..." Malfoy still wanted to defend himself, his face pale with fright.

However.

Ian directly interrupted his words.

"What I want to ask about isn't that, but the thing you gave me this morning." Ian pulled out the crystal ball, his green eyes watching the suddenly stiff-faced little snake in front of him without any trace of emotion.

"I..."

Malfoy hesitated to speak.

His already pale face turned even paler.

Unlike in the morning, he didn't flatly deny that the item was his. He was likely afraid of actually being beaten, but also dared not disclose the origin of the crystal ball.

This was noticed by Ian.

"I know the diary is with you." Ian's Thought Perception was extremely effective against unguarded minds like his, and he even clearly felt the dilemma within Malfoy's mind.

"I don't know!"

Malfoy was startled by his secret being exposed.

The entire person seemed frightened, nearly falling off the flying broomstick. He glanced around in panic, as if fearing he was being watched.

"Give me the diary, and you will need not worry about any trouble finding you or your family." Ian also sensed the concern in Malfoy's heart.

His words made Malfoy's expression clearly struggle.

"You have to promise me that!"

Obviously, the balance within Malfoy was shifting—in a choice between a terrifying Alchemy Creation and his classmates, he would rather believe in the choices of many pure-blood families.

"Of course." Ian smiled and nodded in response to what Malfoy wanted.

Malfoy gritted his teeth.

He started to grab the railing with both hands, attempting to climb over to Ian from the flying broom, but since his limbs were still weak, he almost fell off the tower when he lost grip.

"See, I've already saved your life." Ian caught Malfoy in time, pulling him back from the edge of danger, smiling as he looked at the still shaken Malfoy.

"..."

Actually, Malfoy wanted to say that had Ian not interfered, he wouldn't have been in danger, but he ultimately only managed to respond with a stiff smile, not daring to voice his true thoughts.

"Follow me."

After quite a while.

Malfoy, somewhat absent-minded, began to lead the way for Ian.

While going downstairs.

"They all say you killed Harry Potter, is that true?" The deeply worried Malfoy, still concerned with verifying the rumor he heard, cautiously asked Ian.

One can only say.

True love is unmatched.
