Tenjo Hikari took the first step into the dark world.
Upon arriving at this dimension, Tenjo Hikari carefully prepared his defenses and readied his cards in case of any potential attacks. However, unexpectedly, the spirits here, or rather the nearby spirits, did not make any moves against him.
After being on alert for a little while, Tierra had already successfully arrived in this dimension and began surveying the surroundings.
"It seems the danger level here is lower than the Branded Dimension," Tierra said curiously.
She wasn't quite sure how to determine the difference, but it seemed that the chaos in the dark world was apparently less severe than in the Branded Dimension.
Some spirits on the road, when they saw Tenjo Hikari, would be surprised or show "greed," but quickly controlled themselves.
Although Tenjo Hikari could also see a hint of red in the sky of this dimension, and some red gases often floated from the ground, it was clearly much better than the chaos in the Branded Dimension.
Above the dark world, there was a giant sun, yet the light it emitted was not very bright. The whole world was gray and pitch black.
This might be a sight only possible in the Spirit World, where there is a sun but not a hint of radiance.
During the journey, there were all kinds of strange monsters. In addition to some common Dark Attribute Spirits, you could see monsters like Turret Warrior, Paralyzing Mushroom, and Infinitrack Drag Shovel. However, they bore the typical characteristics of the "Red Light Dimension," often appearing twisted and torn, but were much more normal compared to the Despian Quaeritis that Tenjo Hikari had seen before.
They seemed to have simply absorbed some power of the Red Light and were merely digesting it in this dark world.
Since he had previously observed using Machine Experimenter, Tenjo Hikari was not surprised.
According to Tenjo Hikari's understanding of the dark world, the leader of the dark world theoretically should be either "Diabolos, King of the Abyss" or "Darkest Diabolos, Lord of the Lair." Considering the red light influence here, the spirit strength here is certainly higher than that of a normal dimension, so it's likely "Darkest Diabolos, Lord of the Lair." However, Tenjo Hikari's previous investigation did not reveal many dragons, so he didn't know who was in charge here.
Tenjo Hikari wandered aimlessly in the dark world for a while, feeling like he couldn't find his way just by walking. So he stopped a passing spirit, apologized first, and then asked how to challenge the "Duel Ceremony" in the dark world.
"A human warrior?" The spirit stopped was an extremely twisted-looking spirit. Parts of its body looked like torn female parts, with wings on its head, appearing quite twisted and obscure so even Tenjo Hikari couldn't recall who it was right away.
It was somewhat impatient when stopped by Tenjo Hikari, but upon observing Tenjo Hikari was human, it immediately showed interest.
According to it, this is a special dimension.
Originally, the dark world was a purely combat-driven special dimension, but after the Spirit Dimension split, some "sick" spirits gradually gained access to this dimension. These spirits occasionally come here for transactions or to share their "healing" experiences.
Some advanced spirits would provide materials here to help with "healing," in exchange for the "diseases" on them. Over time, this has turned into a special dimension.
And [diseases] are the currency here.
It considered itself a professional currency hunter and had already collected many pathogens from other places, feeling it was about to evolve again, hence its keen interest.
Then it asked Tenjo Hikari if there were any strange "lights" in the human world—clearly, it was quite curious about the untapped land of the human world, wanting to be the first currency hunter to explore it.
Tenjo Hikari listened, smiling as he told it there was no "red light" in the human world. Its expression instantly turned cold, and its female image directly transformed into liquid, flowing back into its body—evidently, it was disguised, and hearing Tenjo Hikari had no useful information, it lost interest in him.
Tenjo Hikari watched as the spirit turned and left without looking back, finally recalling its name.
"Tindangle Angel, huh..."
This was indeed a truly obscure Deck; if it wasn't for the user being the brother of the famous "blue-haired lady passerby," Tenjo Hikari might never have remembered the name of this Deck.
Its response did solve many of Tenjo Hikari's questions.
It clarified the reasons for the many weird spirits here.
Indeed, where there is demand, there is a market. Clearly, because of the red light, the dark world's special dimension is like a "black market" of the Spirit World, slowly emerging within the Spirit World.
Some spirits pursuing the power of the "red light" desire the blessing of the red light. However, until now, apart from the duel between Tenjo Hikari and The Supreme King, Tenjo Hikari remembered only that once the light pierced through the entire Spirit Dimension, it left behind a large amount of red light power.
At other times, it was evidently mere occasional notices or sporadic blessings.
Therefore, spirits seeking to obtain powerful red light power either have to be like the Branded Dimension, where the entire dimension is filled with red light power, so that mutual devouring will strengthen their powers, or they must find a dimension like this one, through trading or other collecting methods, to gather more light to enhance themselves.
