Tenjo Hikari had a private conversation with Caesar about the matter of Numbers.
There were two things Tenjo Hikari wasn't completely certain about before.
One was how Caesar managed to acquire the Photon Device.
This wasn't something you could easily get your hands on; at the very least, it was a technological marvel of the Tenjo family from the X Dimension, a terrifying scientific machine capable of stopping time.
But similarly, because this isn't something easily obtainable, Tenjo Hikari hesitated, unsure of how to ask Caesar.
If it was given by Dr. Faker or someone else, the implications could be very complex.
Secondly, Tenjo Hikari wasn't sure about how many Number Cards Caesar could have had in his previous state. After all, Caesar is Caesar, not Tenjo Kaito or Kamishiro Ryoga, so how would he know Caesar's limit in bearing the power of Numbers?
In the original series A5, this wasn't something that happened; Caesar didn't appear; instead, Ed and Asuka were present.
With uncertainties, Tenjo Hikari naturally had to observe first.
Now, with Fubuki's help, Caesar surprisingly managed to create Cyber Darkness Dragon, seemingly no longer needing the anti-electrical resistance potion, and Tenjo Hikari pondered that this seemed like a good opportunity to openly discuss the matter with Caesar.
After talking, he learned that the "Photon Device" on Caesar was indeed provided by Tenjo Kaito.
However, Tenjo Kaito gave it not merely out of dimensional friendship, but had made an agreement with him.
As a Numbered Hunter in the Fusion Dimension, Caesar helps him collect Number Cards, regularly delivering cards in Domino City, while Tenjo Kaito provides Caesar with the Photon Device allowing him to make use of Xyz Summon normally in other dimensions. Moreover, Tenjo Kaito even gave him some additional support cards.
For example, Kaito directly gifted him three Galaxy Warriors.
However, Caesar considered this card rather mediocre, feeling it wasn't as good as Cyber Jormungardr from the Cyber Dark Style Deck, so he didn't include it.
That's really—
Tenjo Hikari pondered that although Cyber Jormungardr's effect isn't very strong, compared to Galaxy Warriors, it seems much better within a Cyber Style Deck.
But Cyber Jormungardr requires the opponent to have a monster on the field to jump, rendering it useless in the first move. If Caesar manages to get Cyber Dragon Infinity later, perhaps Galaxy Warrior should still be considered.
Caesar also brought up the surname issue of Tenjo Kaito and Tenjo Hikari; Tenjo is a rather rare surname, running into someone with the same surname across dimensions is quite the fate.
And on that thought, Caesar mentioned the details of his collaboration with Tenjo Kaito.
The collaboration between Tenjo Kaito and him is purely work-related; Tenjo Kaito seems very concerned about Numbers. Thus, upon realizing other dimensions could also generate Numbers, he became quite anxious, and after exchanging ideas with Caesar for a while, asked the adjacent AI robot to set up basic terms.
In conclusion, besides using the Photon System to assist Caesar, for every Number Caesar collects, Kaito would exchange corresponding cards.
"No.85 and No.24, two Number Cards, that's quite impressive, Hikari," Caesar remarked, looking at the Number Cards in his hand, unable to resist expressing his admiration.
During this time, he had only managed to obtain one Number Card, yet Tenjo Hikari had surprisingly procured two.
"Actually, Tenjo Kaito also gave me something else." Caesar thought for a moment, then reached into his pocket and took out something resembling an invitation.
"It's said to be a pass for Heart City in the X Dimension," Caesar recalled while speaking to Tenjo Hikari, "You know about the collaboration we have with Domino City in the X Dimension.
Besides this, Domino City actually has special Dimension Gates leading to two dimensions.
Apparently, as long as permission is granted, one can get the opportunity to visit that dimension."
"He seems very busy and doesn't know how long it will take before he can visit Domino City again, so he specially gave me a few of these, saying if I wanted to continue advancing my Xyz Summoning, I should visit their dimension."
"I think you might need this now, right?"
Tenjo Hikari accepted the pass and read the text on it.
"...Hmm."
"Because those Fusion Army guys attacked Heartland, the relationship between the X Dimension and our dimension has been severely fractured, although I can still cooperate with Tenjo Kaito, the others might not find it so easy.
The Xyz Dimension might have wondrous Fusion Monsters, or odd Fusion Cards, but regardless, one thing is certain. If it's you, you'd definitely want to visit the Xyz Dimension to deal with the Fusion Army's matters, right? After all, there seem to be many abandoned Spirits there."
Tenjo Hikari nodded lightly.
What Caesar said was exactly what Tenjo Hikari had considered.
Because the Fusion Army's blitz on the X Dimension failed, in order to retreat their main forces, they left many spirits under their control—like Frightfur type spirits—in the X Dimension rear guard. Some of these might cooperate with the Fusion Army, but there must also be Spirits forcibly controlled by the Fusion Army like One-Eyed Battle.
Just like being able to visit the S Dimension due to having Duel Dragons, it wasn't the same.
Tenjo Hikari had no means to go to the X Dimension because not only did they have the dimensional technology, but more crucially, they could even isolate and protect their own dimension. In this aspect, the X Dimension has advanced even further than Kaiba Company.
Thus, Tenjo Hikari had to keep waiting.
Now, with Caesar having this kind of item, once Tenjo Hikari is free afterward, he finally has the chance to go to the X Dimension.
"Hah, if there's no accident, after the match, I should also visit the X Dimension." Caesar handed Tenjo Hikari a pass, then spoke again, "It's been a long time since the duel with Fubuki…
However, the evolution of dueling and Cyber Dragons is infinite, perhaps I should learn from you, venture into all dimensions seeking more diverse duels to refine Cyber Dragons… just like you refined Fusion."
"Dueling, ideals, everything needs to proceed and evolve through dueling, even thoughts and beliefs I once thought too finite might not have reached their limit, just like how you pursue the ultimate in fusion… Does fusion even have an ultimate… an absolute? Hahaha—"
Caesar laughed heartily, gazing upward.
"Even if you praise me, I won't go easy on you in the finals," Tenjo Hikari chuckled lightly, casually saying.
Caesar froze upon hearing this, then couldn't help but laugh heartily, "Hahaha, you too, Hikari, I'm infinitely evolving now, don't lose your way to meet me—as I'll see you in the semifinals, Hikari."
