Chapter 132: He's Back.
Lucuis's eyes slowly opened. Everything looked blurry at first, his vision swimming as his brain struggled to catch up with where he was and what had happened.
But as the hazy shapes around him began to clear, and he recognized the rocky ground and the open sky above, he suddenly sat up straight with a jolt of panic running through his entire body.
"The exam!" The words burst out of him before he could stop them.
He recalled that he was still in the middle of the examination.
He had passed out during the second test, and for all he knew, he had already failed because he had been lying here like a fool while everyone else moved ahead.
"Whoa! Calm down, will you?" A familiar voice emerged in his moment of panic.
After he had managed to sit up straight, his spinning head finally settling down, Lucuis saw Emma standing right in front of him with her arms crossed and an amused look on her face.
