(VALENTINO'S POV)
I can't believe my eyes.
Even with all of it right in front of me… I still can't believe it.
For one pathetic second, I tell myself maybe I'm wrong.
Maybe the weakness in my body is fucking with my head.
Maybe the woman on the couch only has the same blonde hair.
Maybe when I say her name and she turns around, it won't be her.
So I force my mouth open.
And when I speak, my voice comes out so small I barely recognize it.
"Kay?"
She freezes instantly.
The whole room does.
Then she turns.
And the second those familiar blue eyes lock onto mine, I feel a stabbing pain in the left side of my chest.
My heart doesn't just break.
It explodes, shattering into a million pieces inside me.
Krystal jerks away from my brothers so fast she nearly falls off the couch. Angelo and Raffaele scramble just as quickly, grabbing clothes off the floor and dragging them over their naked bodies.
And all I can do is stand there and stare with tears gathering in my eyes.
