Ben leaped out of the old, beat-up car, slammed the Omnitrix, and transformed into Four Arms.
He sprinted to the back of the bus and planted his feet firmly.
With all four arms extended, he grabbed the rear of the vehicle.
Crack.
Four Arms exerted force effortlessly, dragging the bus back onto the road.
He strode to the front, ripped the door off with one hand, and reassured the shaken passengers inside.
"It's alright! I, Four Arms, handled everything!"
"Th-thank you, Mr. Four Arms!"
"Young man, you're a real hero!"
Inside the bus, the elderly passengers gave him enthusiastic thumbs-ups.
"Haha, no problem," Four Arms replied honestly, scratching his head as he turned to leave.
"Wait!"
"You're just going to leave like that?! Aren't you going to help us down?!"
"How rude! What's wrong with young people these days?!"
The praise instantly turned into scolding.
The elderly passengers began morally blackmailing him without hesitation.
Four Arms froze, embarrassed.
With no choice, he walked back and helped them down one by one.
Inside the car—
Ethen leaned back casually, watching the scene with amusement.
"Ben… I really didn't expect you to run into something like this."
In the past six months, Ethen had done countless good deeds.
And more than once, he had been morally blackmailed and taken advantage of.

The car finally quieted down.
Gwen opened her laptop and scrolled through the news.
"Hey, Grandpa! The city we're heading to is holding a Magic Expo costume event! Let's go check it out."
Grandpa Max stepped on the accelerator, setting their destination for the day.
By the time the sky fully brightened—
The old, beat-up car rolled into the city and barely squeezed into a crowded parking lot near the venue.
"Alright~"
Gwen stepped out confidently, wearing bright red sleeves and holding a staff.
"This is my home turf!"
"Ahem, I'm not bad either." Ethen stepped out next.
With the prototype tool armor and the Sword of Bezel, he looked like a wandering samurai.
Finally—
Ben climbed out in plain clothes, looking like an ordinary passerby.
The contrast was brutal.
"Pfft~"
Gwen couldn't help laughing.
She grabbed Ethen's hand and pulled him toward the entrance.
"Let's go, Ethen~ Let that guy who looks like a nobody follow obediently."
"Oh, damn it!!" Ben felt his soul crack as he stared angrily at Gwen's back.
Grandpa Max followed helplessly.
"Alright, just enjoy the expo. Don't make things awkward."
Only then did everyone calm down and enter the venue—

Inside the Magic Expo—
Gwen suddenly stopped in front of an unremarkable stall.

Gwen pointed at the price tag beneath the amulet.
"Doesn't it say ten dollars?!"
"Wrong label!" The stall owner ripped it off rudely.
"Take it or leave it. Don't mess with my business."
"Price gouging… disgusting." Gwen was furious.
"I'll take it." Ethen stepped forward calmly, pulling out his card.
Gwen immediately grabbed his hand and dragged him away.
"Don't buy it, Ethen!! She's ripping us off!"
"Gwen… you need it," Ethen said helplessly.
"Hmph. Besides me, who else would want that thing? We'll come back when the expo ends and get it cheap."
Ethen shrugged.
"Alright, your call."
The group moved on.
Not long after—
WHOOSH—BOOM!!
A terrifying tornado ripped through the venue, tearing away more than half the ceiling!
"AHHH!!"
"What's happening?!"
Fake magicians collapsed in fear.
Kids dressed as heroes hid under tables.
Panic erupted everywhere.
"The Bezier Magic Amulet…"
"It's right here!!"
A beast-like roar echoed.
A figure in a dark robe, shrouded in black mist, slowly floated into the expo.
His voice was rough.
And familiar.
Ethen's pupils shrank.
"…That guy."
Memory clicked instantly.
A magic weapon fanatic.
A lunatic he had beaten before—
Hex.
"Why is he stronger?!"
Whoosh!!
Hex raised his hand.
Terrifying wind pressure slammed everyone to the ground.
His magic power far surpassed his past self.
Hex slowly floated toward the stall.
"Shit…"
Ethen clenched his teeth.
Too many civilians.
He couldn't transform freely.
Then—
He charged forward with the Sword of Bezel.
"That cosplayer—he's charging!!"
"He's a real hero!"
The crowd erupted.
"Worthless courage." Hex flicked a finger.
RUMBLE!!!
A tornado blasted Ethen straight into the sky.
He vanished.
Fear swallowed the venue.
"Stop fooling around, you freak!!" Gwen suddenly stood up.
Hidden under her sleeves, four magic pendants glowed brightly—
The Floating Charm, Transformation Charm, Fire Charm, and Lucky Girl Charm.
"It's you!!" Hex roared, fury exploding.
Dark sleeves split open, revealing hawk-like demon claws.
"ل ه ا ل ش ي ط ا ن ذ و ا ل م خ ا ل ب!"
Ancient whispers echoed.
Hex lunged at Gwen.
Gwen raised her staff.
Fire erupted—
Wind twisted it—
Forming a blazing vortex!
CRACK!!
The demon claw shattered the vortex and continued forward.
Gwen wanted to retreat—
But the crowd behind her was frozen in fear.
She couldn't leave.
She wouldn't leave.
Just then—
WHOOSH!!
Green light flashed.
Diamondhead appeared, blocking her—
BOOM!!
The demon claw pierced Diamondhead's body.
Hex swung hard, throwing him out of the venue.
RUMBLE!!
Shockwaves smashed him into the ground repeatedly.
"Ben…!" Gwen clenched her fists, eyes red.
"How dare you hurt that idiot!"
WHOOSH—BANG!!
A purple magic projectile struck Gwen from behind.
She collapsed, stunned.
From the back entrance—
Charmcaster Witch walked in, smiling.
"Effortless. The alien, and the thief—both dealt with."
"Well done," Hex laughed darkly.
Now—
They were in complete control.
