Noah looked at Sebastian with a deep, heavy frown, his eyes reflecting a mixture of fear and disbelief.
He could see the absolute madness dancing in the other boy's eyes, a level of obsession that had completely blinded him to the consequences of his actions.
Noah gripped the armrests of his wheelchair, his knuckles turning white as he tried one last time to appeal to whatever logic might be left in Sebastian's mind.
"Are you really planning on going through with this, Sebastian?" Noah asked, his voice low and trembling with suppressed emotion.
"I am telling you right now, Adam will never let you off for this. Even if something happens today that makes him hate me in the future, or even if we are separated, he still won't let you get away with harming me like this. You are gambling with your entire life."
Sebastian didn't even pause to consider the warning.
He simply shrugged his shoulders, looking completely indifferent to the threat of Adam Reynolds' wrath.
