Scene — Hospital
Zay and Mario were standing outside Dr. Jack's office.
Mario: "Open the door."
Zay: "Why should I? Do it yourself."
Mario: "Zay, you're such a coward."
Zay (raising eyebrow): "Me?"
Just then, Zara came from behind.
Zara: "What are you guys doing here?"
Zara: "Let's go inside."
Zay smiled slightly.
Zay: "Nothing… we were waiting for you."
Mario (teasing): "Oh really, Dr. Zay?"
Zay: "Yes."
Zara: "Okay, stop arguing. Let's go — Dr. Jack is waiting."
Zay opened the door.
Zay: "After you."
Zara walked inside.
But before Zay could enter, Mario pushed him and went ahead.
Zay: "What the—"
Mario turned back with a grin.
Mario: "You deserve that."
Scene — Dr. Jack's Office
Dr. Jack was sitting in his office.
A knock came on the door.
Dr. Jack: "Come in."
Zara, Zay, and Mario entered.
Zara: "Good morning, sir."
Dr. Jack looked at them sharply.
Dr. Jack: "You're late."
Mario: "Sorry, sir… actually Dr. Zay fell on the floor—"
Zay turned to him immediately.
Zay: "Me? Yes, sir…"
Zara looked at both of them with confused eyes.
Dr. Jack's expression hardened.
Dr. Jack: "I hate excuses. If you want to work with me, then show some discipline."
Zara: "Sorry, sir."
Dr. Jack: "Leave. For now."
They quietly walked out.
Outside the Office
Mario: "Oh my God… how rude he is."
Zay: "Of course. After all, he's one of the most successful and senior doctors."
Zara turned toward them, clearly annoyed.
Zara: "Don't you guys feel even a little embarrassed?"
Mario: "For what?"
Zara stared at him.
Zara: "Seriously?"
She shook her head and walked away.
Zay (to Mario): "Are you dumb?"
Then he called out from behind—
Zay: "Zara… Zara, listen!"
Zara didn't stop.
Mario sighed.
Mario: "What should I do? Anyway… leave them."
Zara walked fast through the corridor, clearly annoyed.
Zay (from behind): "Zara… wait."
She stopped but didn't turn.
Zara: "What?"
Zay came closer.
Zay: "Why are you reacting like that? It was just a joke."
Zara turned, her expression serious.
Zara: "This is a hospital, Zay… not a playground."
Zay's smile faded slightly.
Zay: "You've changed."
Zara looked straight into his eyes.
Zara: "People change… when they have to."
(brief silence)
Zay (softly): "Or when they're forced to?"
Zara's eyes flickered for a second — pain, memories… everything hidden again.
Zara: "Focus on your work, Dr. Zay."
She turned and walked away.
Zay stood there, watching her…
confused, hurt… and thinking.
Scene — Director's Office
Zayan and Wali were sitting in the director's office.
Director: "Welcome, gentlemen. I'm glad you trust us with your father's treatment."
Zayan: "I hope you don't break that trust."
Director: "We will do our best, sir. We have a highly skilled staff and some of the best surgeons. Don't worry — your father is in safe hands."
Wali: "I hope it turns out the way you're saying."
Zayan: "Where is Dr. Jack?"
Director: "He's on his way."
A knock came on the door.
Director: "Come in."
Dr. Jack entered.
Dr. Jack: "Good morning, gentlemen."
Zayan: "Good morning."
Wali: "So… you'll be treating our dad?"
Dr. Jack: "Yes. I've studied your father's case. It's complicated… but there's still a chance. And that's a good sign."
Zayan (quickly): "So he can recover?"
Dr. Jack: "Yes. We'll start working on it immediately. He'll be fine."
Wali: "Good."
Director: "Where is your team, Dr. Jack?"
Dr. Jack: "They're outside. Let me call them in."
The door opened again.
Zay, Zara, and Mario walked inside.
For a moment… everything stopped.
Zayan froze.
His breath caught.
He couldn't believe his eyes.
Zara… standing right in front of him.
Their eyes met.
And in that single moment…
every memory came rushing back.
Dr. Jack: "These are my team members for the case — Dr. Zay, Dr. Mario… and Dr. Zara."
Wali: "Good morning. I hope you all will do your best."
Mario: "Of course, sir. As always."
Zayan's eyes turned red.
His hands started shaking.
His body felt heavy.
The director noticed.
Director: "Are you okay, Mr. Zayan?"
Zayan: "Yes… excuse me."
He quickly walked out.
Scene — Restroom
Zayan rushed inside and turned on the tap.
He splashed water on his face again and again.
He stopped… and looked at himself in the mirror.
Zayan (broken whisper):
"How stupid am I…?
I thought I forgot you… erased every memory…
But the moment you stood in front of me…
everything came back."
His voice shook.
Zayan:
"I even forgot that I hate you…
Why can't I control myself?
Why do I break down in front of you…?"
He paused… taking a deep breath.
He wiped his tears.
Zayan (cold, forcing himself):
"No more drama.
It's true… your existence still hurts me, Zara.
But don't forget…
I don't exist for you anymore.
And you don't exist for me.
Whatever was between us…
is finished.
Nothing is left."
He adjusted his tie, fixed his expression…
And walked out.
Scene — Hospital Corridor
Wali stood in the corridor, waiting for his brother.
Wali (muttering): "What the hell… where did Zayan go?"
He looked around — then spotted Zayan walking toward him quietly.
Wali: "So… here he is."
Zayan stopped in front of him.
Zayan: "Did you pay all the bills and everything?"
Wali: "Yeah."
Wali kept staring at him.
Zayan: "What?"
Wali (smirking): "Nothing. I just thought… maybe you fell off a building after seeing your ex."
Zayan's expression turned cold.
Zayan: "Stay in your limits, Wali."
Wali: "Sure. But at least fix your expression… otherwise Zara will realize you're still dying for her."
Zayan (angry): "Can you just shut your mouth?"
Just then, Zay came from behind.
Zay: "Hey, my dear cousin, how are you?"
Zayan (irritated): "We are perfectly happy in our lives."
Without another word, Zayan walked away.
Zay looked at Wali, confused.
Zay: "What happened to him?"
Wali smirked slightly.
Wali: "Nothing… let's go have some coffee."
Zay: "Sure."
They both walked away.
Zara and Mario were sitting together.
Mario: "Zara, I can't believe Wali and Zayan Shah are Zay's cousins. They're both more handsome than him… and they look intelligent too. And Zayan Shah is one of the youngest successful businessmen. I saw him in the news."
Mario noticed Zara wasn't responding.
Mario: "Zara… Zara?"
Zara: "Ah… yes, sorry. I was thinking about something else."
Mario: "Are you okay?"
Zara forced a smile.
Zara: "Of course. What happened to me?"
Mario looked ahead.
Mario: "Look… they're coming with Zay."
Zara: "Who?"
Mario: "Wali and Zayan."
Mario waved.
Mario: "Hey guys, come join us!"
Zay: "Hey, you girls are here too."
Wali: "Oh… so you guys are friends as well?"
Zay: "Yeah."
Zara suddenly stood up.
Zara: "Let's go, Mario."
Mario: "Where?"
Zara: "We have work."
Zay: "What happened, Zara? It's our break time."
Zayan spoke calmly.
Zayan: "I think your friend isn't comfortable with us. It's okay… we'll sit somewhere else."
Zara looked straight at him.
Zara: "You're right. I'm not comfortable."
Mario: "Zara, that's rude."
Zara: "What? I just said what I feel. I don't think Mr. Shah would mind that."
Zayan's expression hardened.
Zayan: "Of course I don't mind… because I don't give importance to strangers."
Wali: "Oh my God…"
Zay (whispering to Wali): "Are you enjoying this?"
Wali: "Stay quiet."
Zara stepped forward.
Zara: "Then that's even better… Mr. Shah."
She turned to leave — but her foot got stuck in the table.
She stumbled—
—and fell straight into Zayan's arms.
For a moment… silence.
Zayan (softly): "Be careful, Dr. Zara."
Zara immediately pushed him away and walked off.
Mario: "Sorry!"
Mario rushed after her.
Zay looked confused.
Zay: "Let's order coffee."
Zayan: "I'm not interested."
He walked away.
Zay looked at Wali.
Zay: "What is actually going on?"
Wali smiled slightly.
Wali: "Don't think too much, bro… take a chill pill."
Scene — Hospital Corridor
Zara walked out into the corridor, clearly frustrated.
Zara (to herself): "What the hell is he thinking?"
"Idiot… what did he even say? That I don't give importance to strangers?"
She scoffed.
Zara: "Stranger? My foot."
Mario (calling from behind): "Zara… Zara! What kind of behavior was that?"
Zara stopped and turned, annoyed.
Zara: "What? I didn't do anything wrong. He deserved that… in fact, he deserved more than that."
Mario looked at her, confused.
Mario: "Do you… know ea
ch other?"
Zara went quiet for a moment.
Her expression changed slightly.
Zara (coldly): "No. I don't know him."
Without waiting for another question, she turned and walked away.
Mario: "Okay, listen— Zara!"
But she didn't stop.
The room stayed quiet after Faisal left.
Only the faint sound of footsteps fading down the corridor remained.
Grandpa slowly leaned back in his chair, his expression unreadable.
Grandpa: "He's not as strong as he pretends to be…"
Rose didn't respond. She was still staring at the empty doorway, her jaw tight.
Brother-in-law broke the silence.
Brother-in-law: "Transferring those shares to the boys… that changes everything."
Grandpa looked at him sharply.
Grandpa: "It doesn't change anything. It just brings what's already theirs… a little closer."
Outside the dining hall, the atmosphere shifted.
Zayan walked beside Faisal in silence. Wali followed a step behind, hands in his pockets.
Wali finally spoke, breaking the quiet.
Wali: "You didn't answer properly in there."
Faisal didn't look at him.
Faisal: "There was nothing left to answer."
Zayan glanced at him.
Zayan: "You're hiding something again."
That made Faisal stop walking for a moment. Just a brief pause… like the weight of the words hit somewhere deeper than expected.
Faisal: "I've been hiding things your whole life. You're just starting to notice now."
Wali frowned.
Wali: "That's not an answer."
Faisal finally turned slightly, looking at both of them.
Faisal: "Not everything needs to be explained tonight."
A beat of silence.
Then Zayan spoke, softer this time.
Zayan: "But everything catches up eventually."
For the first time, Faisal didn't reply.
He just continued walking.
And behind him, the two brothers followed—each carrying questions they weren't ready to ask out loud yet.
The morning light spilled softly into the Victor house dining room. The table was neatly arranged, but the atmosphere felt more thoughtful than usual.
Victor took his seat at the head of the table.
Victor: "Good morning, girls."
Ava smiled immediately.
Ava: "Good morning, Dad."
Zara followed politely, adjusting her chair.
Zara: "Good morning, Uncle."
For a moment, it was calm—just the quiet clinking of cups and soft breakfast chatter.
Then Ava leaned forward slightly, her expression shifting.
Ava: "Dad… did you hear about Wali's father?"
Victor's hands paused for a second over his cup.
Victor: "Yes, I heard. He isn't well… in fact, Zara, he's admitted in your hospital, right?"
Zara nodded calmly.
Zara: "Yes. Dr. Jack is treating him."
A brief silence followed, heavier than before.
Ava's voice softened.
Ava: "Dad… I think we should visit him."
Victor looked at her, considering the idea for a moment.
Victor: "You're right… but I'm not available today."
Ava didn't look disappointed for long. She turned slightly toward Maya.
Ava: "So it's okay if I go?"
Maya smiled gently from the side.
Maya: "Yeah… that sounds fine."
Victor nodded as well, his tone firm but approving.
Victor: "Okay. Go with Zara."
Zara looked up slightly, a bit surprised but composed.
Zara: "Sure."
Ava brightened a little, already planning in her mind.
The hospital corridor was unusually quiet, the kind of silence that made every small sound feel heavier.
Inside the room, Faisal lay on the bed, looking weaker than usual. The white walls, the soft beeping of machines—it all made him uncomfortable.
Faisal: "I hate hospitals… you know that. This environment makes me feel even more sick."
Zayan sat close beside him, holding his hand firmly.
Zayan: "Don't worry. You'll be fine soon. This hospital is temporary."
He tightened his grip slightly, as if trying to transfer strength through his hand.
Zayan: "We'll go back to our house soon… together."
Wali stood on the other side of the bed, trying to keep his voice light.
Wali: "He's right. Just a few days, then we're back to the world again… and maybe we'll even throw you a grand welcome party."
Faisal gave a weak but genuine smile.
Faisal: "You both… are my strength."
Before either of them could respond, Faisal pulled them into a slow, tight hug.
Zayan and Wali froze for a second… then slowly wrapped their arms around him too.
Neither of the boys spoke.
But their eyes told everything they were trying to hide.
When they finally pulled away, Zayan stepped back slightly.
Zayan: "You should rest. We'll be outside."
Wali nodded quickly.
Wali: "Yeah… it's your medicine time anyway."
They forced small smiles, trying to act normal.
Then both brothers left the room.
Outside the room, the atmosphere changed again.
Zayan sat on a bench in the hallway, leaning forward with his elbows on his knees.
Wali sat beside him, quieter than usual.
Zayan finally spoke, voice low.
Zayan: "Wali… will Dad really be fine?"
Wali didn't answer immediately. He stared at the floor for a moment.
Wali: "Yes. He will. Don't overthink it."
Zayan exhaled slowly.
Zayan: "Hm… you're right."
After a pause, he stood up.
Zayan: "I'm just going to get some fresh air."
Wali nodded.
Wali: "Okay. I'm here."
Zayan walked away down the corridor.
Wali leaned back against the wall, then slowly closed his eyes—exhaustion and worry mixing together.
Somewhere else, far from the hospital's quiet tension…
Jaunid was on a call.
Jaunid: "My dad is giving the shares to Wali and Zayan. I don't want that. If it happens, they'll become 50% holders… and I can't afford that."
A voice on the other end replied calmly.
Voice: "So what do you want?"
Jaunid's expression darkened slightly.
Jaunid: "Nothing complicated… just make sure they don't get it."
Voice: "Come to the office. We'll discuss it."
Jaunid ended the call.
Rose entered the room, placing a cup of tea beside him.
Rose: "So what are you going to do with them? You can't stop Dad from giving them the shares… it's their mother's right."
Jaunid took the tea slowly, his eyes fixed ahead.
Jaunid: "I don't need to stop Dad."
He paused.
Jaunid: "Zayan won't take them."
Rose frowned slightly.
Rose: "And Wali?"
Jaunid's lips curved into a dark, knowing smile.
Jaunid: "No one can stop Wali… except Zayan."
He leaned back.
Jaunid: "Wali loves his brother too much… he'll do anything for him."
Rose watched him carefully now, sensing the direction of his thoughts but not fully understanding it.
Jaunid continued softly:
Jaunid: "We just need to control Zayan."
A silence followed.
Rose's eyes stayed on him longer this time, trying to read what exactly he was planning… but Jaunid's expression gave nothing away except certainty.
Back in the hospital corridor…
Zayan stood near the window now, staring outside at the distant city lights.
His reflection looked tired… but determined.
Zayan (softly, to himself): "Just a few more days…"
Behind him, somewhere in the corridor, Wali still sat silently.
And in the room behind closed doors… Faisal slept, holding on to the fragile peace of the moment.
But far away… unseen hands had already started moving.
And this peace… was only temporary.
