The demonic armor dissolved slowly from my body like smoke unraveling into the air.

The horns disappeared last.

Good.

Because honestly, having horns while emotionally spiraling felt excessive even by tower standards.

I dropped beside Kael immediately.

The ground around him was soaked in blood.

Too much blood.

Healing magic still layered endlessly over his body while priests continued rotating recovery skills one after another, but the wound refused to fully close. The blood curse lingering inside him kept fighting the regeneration every second.

Kael looked pale.

Wrongly pale.

His usual smug expression dulled from blood loss while Luna pressed trembling hands over the wound, desperately maintaining healing output.

I grabbed his hand before I could stop myself.

Warm.

Still warm.
