Kelvin found himself staring at her without blinking. It wasn't just because she was beautiful, but because her composure while handling the pressure of the situation was quite remarkable.
Unlike the people gathered at the scene, she wasn't trembling or confused about what to do. She was in total control of the situation, so much so that one of the bystanders whispered nervously, "Is she a doctor?"
Another person shook their head. "I don't know…"
The woman suddenly pressed two fingers against the elderly man's neck again, her brows tightening slightly. Then she began chest compressions.
Kelvin unconsciously took a step closer, planning to correct her should she position her palms wrongly, but he was stunned…she was precise, skilled, and efficient.
Rain dampened strands of her dark hair, yet she paid absolutely no attention to herself.
Everything about her focus remained on saving the man.
"Come on," she muttered quietly. "Don't do this today."
