Chapter 327 - Chapter 327: Power Level Five Trash

...

In the eastern hemisphere of Earth, the land stretched wide with lush mountains and clear waters—a place of quiet, untouched beauty.

RUMBLE!

The roar of engines shattered the tranquility as a spacecraft descended from the sky.

With a heavy thud, it landed on a flat expanse. A sharp click echoed as the hatch opened, and three figures stepped out.

Vegeta casually tossed out a Capsule. In an instant, the massive spacecraft was compressed and stored within it before being returned to its compact form.

Clearly, after being kicked into outer space last time, Vegeta had grown far more cautious.

"So… this is Earth?"

Only after securing everything did Vegeta finally glance around. The area was barren, uncultivated—hardly impressive.

"What kind of backwater dump is this? You probably couldn't sell it for much," Nappa scoffed, spitting to the side.

"Shut up."

Vegeta's cold rebuke came instantly.

Nappa stiffened and fell silent, puzzled. All I said was the planet's worthless—why's he so irritated?

Vegeta ignored him, a thought flickering through his mind:

Isn't this… that woman's homeworld? What a coincidence.

"That way—someone's coming," Raditz suddenly said, looking into the distance.

Vegeta and Nappa followed his gaze.

A small car approached from afar, rolling steadily toward them.

Moments later, it stopped about twenty meters away. A farmer stepped out—wearing a hat, blue overalls, and clutching a shotgun.

"W-Who are you people?!"

His voice trembled. Aliens… are they aliens?!

"Vegeta, looks like a native," Raditz said, tapping the scouter on his ear. "Let's see how strong he is."

Beep beep beep.

The scouter scanned.

A number appeared.

5.

"Power level… five? What kind of trash is that?" Raditz stared, dumbfounded.

Even Vegeta and Nappa were briefly stunned.

A man holding a gun… with a power level of only five?

What kind of worthless species was this?

"D-Don't come any closer! I'll shoot!" the farmer shouted, aiming his weapon at them.

"Tch."

Raditz sneered. "If you don't want to die, then get lost."

Vegeta and Nappa merely glanced at the farmer before rising into the air without another word.

They left him behind—frozen in place, as if his soul had been scared out of him.

...

High above the sky.

Gran and the others had already arrived.

Even he hadn't expected to witness the legendary "power level five" scene in person.

But what surprised him even more—

Vegeta's group didn't kill the farmer.

"They're about to meet," Beerus said lazily, hovering nearby as he looked toward another direction.

...

After flying for a short while, the scouters on Vegeta and the others suddenly began to beep.

Beep! Beep! Beep!

Strong energy signatures were approaching.

"500 power level."

"800."

"1000."

"1500…"

"..."

Vegeta narrowed his eyes slightly as he read the numbers.

From that earlier "power level five" trash, it was obvious this planet was weak overall—yet unexpectedly, there were fighters exceeding a thousand.

Even Raditz in the past had only been around that level.

"Raditz… seems this planet has some hidden strength after all," Nappa said in surprise. "Didn't you say your little brother was born with a power level of two? Sent to a place like this—how did he even survive?"

"How should I know if he's still alive?" Raditz shrugged. "I only came because you insisted on asking him about becoming a Super Saiyan."

"Enough talking. They're here."

Instead of waiting midair, Vegeta descended to the ground.

Raditz and Nappa followed closely.

The moment they landed, seven black dots appeared on the horizon, rapidly growing larger.

At a distance of one hundred meters—

Their figures became clear.

"…Huh."

Vegeta pointed at the leading figure, frowning slightly. "Raditz… doesn't that guy look a lot like your father, Bardock?"

Raditz froze.

He rubbed his eyes and stared carefully—then his expression changed dramatically.

"He really does…! Could that be… Kakarot?!"

(PS: It seems Raditz never actually met Goku. If I remember correctly, in the older versions, Goku was sent away shortly after birth.)

After a brief pause, Raditz spoke with certainty:

"That's definitely Kakarot. I didn't expect him to still be alive!"

For some reason, a trace of excitement stirred within him.

"But something's off," Nappa muttered, frowning. "Didn't your father once predict that Kakarot might become a Super Saiyan one day?"

He glanced at the scouter readings.

"Does that power level look like a Super Saiyan to you?"

Among the readings, one stood out—2300.

Nappa guessed that was likely Goku's.

"I don't know…" Raditz shook his head.

He couldn't understand how a low-class warrior born with a power level of two could grow this much.

But…

Over a decade ago, they had witnessed Gran transform into a Super Saiyan.

That overwhelming pressure—

They could never forget it.

And yet…

The feeling Goku gave them now—

No.

It wasn't just different.

There was no feeling at all.
