Marlene was at home preparing dinner when she suddenly heard a knock at the door. She went to see who was at the door.
When she opened the door, she found a young man standing there, with silky light-brown hair and captivating hazel eyes that, along with his refined features and charming smile, made him a work of art.
The young man said:"
_Hello, madam. It is a pleasure to meet you. My name is Horselius Bryan. I apologize for disturbing you. I am delighted to accept Mr. Rosmond's invitation. Thank you for having me."
_Of course! You are most welcome!" she replied cheerfully, before turning her gaze toward Celine, who was standing behind him, and giving her a piercing look.
The girl averted her eyes and muttered:"
_I hope this evening goes smoothly…"
Everyone went inside and sat down on the sofas while Marlene went to prepare some tea. A few moments later, she called her daughter, Celine, and pulled her into the kitchen before saying:"
_Where did you find this handsome young man, hmm?! Didn't I tell you yesterday that something was going on? It seems I was right after all!!!!"
Celine sighed and said in a low voice:"
_Enough with the drama!!! There's nothing like that going on… We're just classmates, understand?! The reason he came here today is because of what happened to me earlier. I fainted."
_What?! You… Are you alright?!"
_Yes. The head boy took me straight to the infirmary, and my condition had completely stabilized after four hours."

Horselius and Marcus burst out laughing at Lilia's threat, while Celine's annoyed voice came from the kitchen doorway.
"I already told you that everything is over! Stop bothering Horselius, Lilia! I told you I'm perfectly fine. There's no need to discuss the matter all over again:"
_Hahaha, you haven't bothered me at all, so don't worry. I'm touched by how much your sister loves you. You're truly lucky to have her!" the young man said with a light chuckle.
Suddenly, their conversation was interrupted by a series of knocks at the door. Marlene went to answer it, only to find an unexpected and very special guest standing outside, someone whose arrival at such an hour had never crossed anyone's mind.
