Khael's POV
She led me back into the restaurant and this time her employees looked at us with weird gazes and Jack's mouth opened wide in shock.
Right from when I was young and still a child, I had always had a striking resemblance to her, not even a masculine version but her whole face because I could easily pass as a teenage girl which I have never liked.
It has always gotten me unwanted attention from older Alphas that have never stopped to irritate me.
She led me into a room that looked like a personal office via a door from the main restaurant, it had minimal decorations. A landscape painting on the wall and a picture of her, a polished mahogany table and a spinning chair. A couch close to a wall and a shelf opposite.
It smelled faintly like a greenhouse and I frowned at the unusual smell until my eyes landed on a wilted bunch of flowers in a vase on her table.
"Come here, let's sit". she gestured to the couch. She sat and waited for me to sit.
