A calming and enchanting voice came from the front seat of the table.
It was Madam Lady Light.
She wore a simple white mask with golden cracks running across it like shattered glass.
Her dress was pale blue, and her hands were folded neatly in front of her.
"Good morning, Madam Lady Light," Seth said with a small bow.
"You seem quite well, as always."
He smiled under his mask, but the painted grin on the outside made his compliment look a bit funny.
Still, his tone was respectful.
Lady Light simply nodded.
She stared at him for a long moment, then tilted her head.
Seth caught sight of that action and felt confused.
"Is something wrong, Madam?" he asked.
Lady Light spoke carefully.
"You have come into contact with the Abyss?"
Seth was puzzled at first before he started to think back of the previous event that had left him traumatized.
The Abyss… could she mean that endlessly black ceiling he had seen at the Silvercrest Teahouse?
