After Matilda finished writing her name in the book, she collapsed as though she fell unconscious without a sound.
Seth caught her before she hit the floor, her body limp and heavy in his arms.
He frowned slightly, unsure of the cause, but he quickly checked her condition.
There were no visible injuries or wounds, and no signs of struggle.
Her breathing was steady and her pulse normal.
She was… fine.
